We had an absolutely fantastic meal at The Rudloe Arms. The setting is gorgeous and the ambience of the restaurant was perfect for a romantic meal. The service was outstanding, attentive, friendly and the waitresses were very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. The food was outstanding too with the best steak I have ever eaten. I can also thoroughly recommend the rice pudding with sherry soaked prunes for dessert! After a fabulous meal you can relax in one of the many lounges filled with so many quirky and original ornaments and pictures you could spend hours looking at them all around the hotel! We will definitely be back soon for another meal as we are lucky enough to have this unique place close to home. More

Friendly welcome time to sit and catch up with 2 fruends and no pressure to hurry to make decisions. Shared a platter to start, with plenty on for 3 people and our main course option of smaller portions was welcome so we coukd share a dessert. A lovely time was enjoyed attentive staff. More

Welcome to Guyers House Restaurant

Guyers House Restaurant: 2 AA Rosettes for the cooking and stars for friendliness and charm.

Set in this lovely old house is a restaurant of real distinction. Settle into the pretty dining room and choose from the menu of finely cooked modern British. These dishes are prepared by head chef Phillip Low and his team from the finest produce they can find including herbs, vegetables and fruit from our own kitchen garden and orchard.More
