Very pleasant restaurant with good Korean food!
We have been a few times and never disappointed. Good food and popular.
Really nice experience in a atmosphere. Will definitely come back
The spicy meat platter was to die for! Also the spicy squid starter. I’m general food was good and I would go again but not in any rush to go back. Service was average at the start but then got better as our waitress began to talk to us. Overall it was a fun experience and food was good so I would recommend!
Great food, lovely and friendly staff, service is relatively quick. Everything seems fresh and as a bonus point for not smelling like barbecue afterwards!
We booked a birthday meal at Gogi largely on the basis of its high OpenTable rating — and definitely were not disappointed.
We started with a seafood pancake, fried chicken and some mixed pickles, which are not only classics, but provide great benchmarks for comparison with other eateries. They were all winners. The chicken was deliciously crisp on the outside, flavoursome and succulent on the inside. The pancake was just the right mixture of soft and crisp, but with a bigger hit of seafood than is often the case. Pickles provided contrast and crunch, without excess acidity.
For mains we focused on the barbecued meats — cooked on a burner in the centre of the table. The rib-eye was delicious, and cooked exactly as ordered, and the pork belly was so good we ordered seconds. We managed to find room for a seafood bibimbap, which was delicious, though too moist to create the usual crust — or perhaps we stirred too soon.
Puddings included Western and Korean options, but we were done.
Overall, we were very impressed. The food was excellent, and side, particularly were much better value than some of the Korean barbecue restaurants in central London. As Arnie said, we'll be back.
We were three mins late as parking was a little difficult and the man from the restaurant called me up asking where I was. I said I have just parked I am walking in... he had a go at me for being a total of 5 mins late on a SUNDAY where there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. The food was very small portions and very bland a very expensive and bland/boring g dinner
First time visitor. Came with my family for my brothers 40th birthday. Definitely recommend booking beforehand as it gets busy. Food is delicious. I'm vegan but my family eat everything and we all left very happy. Staff were lovely. Would for sure go again. Great for dates, catch ups and occasions.
My friends and I had a wonderful time at Gogi. The food was amazing, especially the BBQ, and the service was excellent. The staff treated was very well and even helped was take pictures.
Great food & good service. A little surprised that side dishes of kimchi were not free with your meal like how it is in the US and there are not that much variety of side dishes to choose from. But I will still come back the next time I visit London. My favorite Korean BBQ place!
Nice atmosphere, good value for money. Would definetly recommend.
The food was really good. The staff friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. They did forget to give us one of our side orders but we also forgot about it as well. We didn’t remember until we had finished eating but as we didn’t receive it they took it off the bill. Would definitely recommend that you go if you are looking for Korean food.
A lovely well maintained restaurant. The menu is sufficiently large the range of drinks available is similarly large with some distinctly korean offerings as you would expect.
The atmosphere is great and happily the noise isn't too much.
The service is exceptional with table side service should you order barbeque, the staff are very capable and polite. Barbeques have their own extractor fans so you wont get hot or smokey in case that is a concern.
Food quality and taste was excellent and I would happily reccomend it to anyone, particularly the beef!
It has been our family dining spot. However, we noted quality has dropped recently and flavour of food inconsistent of late.
Overall was fine.
They do not serve the real korean bbq. Service is really bad and waiters are arrogante and not helpful. Ypu have to pay for everything that usually in included something more. Our meat was not cooked and really bad.
Lovely food and staff! Would recommend. Will definitely be going again
Great food. Great evening. Would definitely go back.
Good to get this time booking as always full as 7.30pm happy to return for another try 👍
The food was amazing, we’ve already recommended Gogi to friends and family - the choice is so good
Friend from high school visiting
Lovely experience, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. Definitely will be back.
Food was average. Our server wasn't that attentive, i.e. one person ordered the bbq while others got a standard entree. The bbq was not even powered on until after the three entrees arrived. This caused the food to still have to cook while other three were eating their entrees. The menu was definitely interesting but to be honest I'm not sure I would go back . This is probably not indicative of the normal experience here but it was unfortunately ours.
Excellent korean food and perfect service. I really recommend it and kids friendly.
Great food, very delicious and friendly staff. Love the BBQ concept embedded into the tables
The food here is great! Decor is lovely and our service was good! The only things about this place is the time keeping is very strict, when you book a table you have a limited time there. So when your time is coming up they will grill your food for you and serve you to rush you out. I completely understand that they are running a business but it would be good to know when booking that this is a strict time window, because I'd hate to be the person after who booked and the other person is going over their time slot. Best to just know beforehand. Especially if you know you always have a late friend or relative!
Great food and service
The food was very good, fresh and tasty, with several different options. Prices were also fair. Nice location near the Regent's canal.
Had to ask for water 4 times over 30-45min until it finally arrived at the 4th time of asking, very quick to bring out the alcohol - arrived a full 20 min before the water. I'm not sure if they were expecting the heavily pregnant women at the table to drink that too? Also I made a note for 5 people but seated at table for 4. Not great value given location and service. Dessert was nice enough.
The best Korean in London - period!
The food was fantastic and the staff were great. I’m so glad that they cooked our meal on the hot plate. Everything tasted brilliant.
Very good food but slow service. Noisy music doesn't fit in with a relaxing meal.
The food was good, I would have liked the music to be at a lower volume, and more napkins.
Second time in London and second time at this restaurant.
Great food and very friendly staff.
Recommend the Korean BBQ that will be grilled at your table.
Walk to the restaurant via Little Venice and take a drink along the way.
We will be back!
Really great restaurant with amazing food. The staff is really Nice and are willing to help with everything you need.
Food is delicious and authentic. Service needs to improve.
Excellent service. Food amazing!!!a good choice for vegetarians. Will go back again. This was our third time and we took our friends and they loved it.
One of our favourites. But prices have increased
Excellent raw beef bibimbap. Reasonable prices for the area and very friendly staff.
The food was very fresh and delicious, the meat was very tender. We were not pressured to buy more drinks. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant.
Good service and lovely food. Spending a lit of time in Korea as I do I found this restaurant to be a good attempt at the authentic Korean experience.
