   Delicious food. Good fun barbequing the food yourself, but you don't have to. Can recommend the bao buns + bulgogi bbq (and of course the honey plum tea).

   The food was divine, first time trying Korean Food so it was a great first experience. The waitering staff and food service was efficient and swift - courteous all while answering our questions and needs. I had the seafood bibimbap, it was delicious and very filling. My friend had the galbitang, a short beef rib soup; he thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend Gogi, especially for its lovely atmosphere and authentic Korean food. Hopefully next time I’ll try the famous Korean BBQ - looks glorious!

   Lovely atmosphere and quality meat cuts for the BBQ. I know it's about the experience of grilling your own food, but it's a bit pricey for them to just bring some meat and a few vegetable slices. It's also probably about the ventilation but we were really cold the whole time. I might return for some stand-alone dishes, and not bbq.

   Brilliant experience with the BBQ, lovely cuts of meats and great customer service. Only downfalls were the usual Korean bbq sides werent free and had to be ordered and we werent made aware of the service bell. But overall we loved it and would definitely be back.

   The food was excellent! We had a lovely waiter and was very prompt with service. He was super awesome with his recommendations as well!! The food was tasty but very expensive for what you received. The beef bulgogi was delicious, and the experience of cooking your own food was great, too!

    A zero atmosphere, overly priced for below average food excuse for a Korean bbq restaurant. The miso soup was lukewarm, beef noodle starter for which we had to pay extra to add the beef came with 4 tiny strips of beef, the grill for 2 option was full of insipidly marinated cheap meat. The ribeye for 2 was a tiny portion, the egg and corn and cheese tasted of nothing and the courgette and butternut squash shavings with a slice of red onion were an utter joke as side orders. Apparently a small shaving of courgette and a microscopic slice of butternut squash is acceptable these days, for garnish perhaps but not for a £42 platter.. Service is awful, the waitress never cracked a smile and perhaps said 5 words to us. On the other hand the couple next to us consistently playing videos games on their mobiles were slightly amusing. Avoid this place like the plague.

    It's very authentic! The staff were very nice but we waited for quite a bit before someone came to take our order as we were sitting outdoor. But overall the dishes all taste great and are of good value of money.

    The Korean bbq set meals are nice portion size and the seasoning was nice - however SHOCKED they charge £3 for the tiniest bowl of rice (literally 3 spoonfuls) - other Korean BBQ restaurants charge that for triple the rice portion size which is more reasonable. Also no complimentary Kim Chee - again, these small things really do make the experience disappointing.

    Great food however the bbq meat and seafood was not seasoned very well. The starters we had were magnificent, they set the bar very high. The ambience was amazing. Will be visiting again.

    Food and service was simply outstanding… the only thing we found a bit difficult is been able to organise food on the table when you go in a party of four. Our friends ordered the bbq (which you will cook right in the middle of the table) and we took small individual dishes and our table was overflowing with food and drinks and we had to juggle to fit the plates in. Despite this, it was the first time my friend eat Korean food and they loved it so much that they already made a reservation for another day.

    Korean waiters were very kind, but the waiter who looked like a manager was not. We even didn’t want to pay for her, so killed some time until someone else appeared. Don’t think we will go again.

    Lovely restaurant and delicious food but I think it was slightly over priced with small portions. Asked for water 4x and no one brought it over, had to give up in the end. Overall good service though :)

    Unfortunately, last night’s experience has left a bad taste in our mouth. The food felt like it was left prepared and on the table ready to be served about 4 to 5 hours ago. This meant that food had either dried up or had become extra soggy. We appreciate a busy restaurant requires preparation. However it could have been managed a little better. The food overall was good. Sarcastic comments like “to find that food you must go to Korea,” when we enquired if they could serve a meal off the menu, does not land well with guess who are paying customers. Also, £3 for 7 stems of lettuce!? Must be joking - should be provided for free when we’re already paying £30-40 per person for our dinner! Would not be visiting again. It was our local favourite but last night’s experience let us down.

    The waitress was hesitant to note down my order. She said, “too much” with a sarcastic smile. Such an unnecessary and unprofessional behavior coming from her. I asked her “is there a problem with ordering too much in this restaurant?”. Why feel the need to say “too much” when I’m ordering my food? Is it because she thinks I can’t afford to pay all of it?

    Korean food as Korean food tastes back in Seoul. Loved the traditional flavours and it’s so much more than just a bbq restaurant. Recommend the kimchi soup and the seafood pancake for lunch.

    Entrance was quite dirty: unswept and not mopped. There was a 10 minutes delay in taking our order. Then all went rather smooth, with the exception that the waitress (Mirei as per the bill) forgot the fried rice that we ordered. Food quality was good and the wine was well chilled. Overall impression was quite good but not outstanding. It was also quite noisy as the back room is small and all tables were occupied.

    Would really recommend, reasonably priced and delicious food! Sat outside on a summer evening - it was lovely. Make sure to sit inside if you want the Gogi grill.
