GOGO's Waterfront Restaurant
There's free parking, lovely relaxed seating, a lively Shebeen bar and friendly staff waiting to serve exotic meats, espetadas - (our signature dish which is a skewer of meat or seafood, dripping with marinade over your side dish), and sticky ribs and much more.
Lovely South African wines, creative cocktails, extensive range of gins and even Don Pedros the South African 'milkshake cocktail'.

We had an excellent experience. Brilliant location, great Food. We had Sunday morning breakfast. If we visit Windsor again we would definitely come back for drinks and dinner next time. Thank you!
Went for my girlfriends birthday, had a lovely table overlooking the marina and the food was amazing!!!
When we were ready for the bill they brought out a dessert with sparklers for my girlfriend
It is a nice restaurant, good food, slightly restricted menu, but good quality. The ambience is nice, although a little loud on the night we went (Thurs). Great view of the marina and nice outside space too. Food was well cooked and very well presented.
Great location great service. A small well presented restaurant in Windsor with views over the marina. Food is very hit n miss. Last visit was amazing. This time unfortunately not great at all. Very fatty pork ribs. The beef ribs had virtually no meat at all. Left hungry and disappointed and a lot lighter in the wallet for the privilege.
We’ve eaten at Go-Gos a number of times, service is always good and the food is excellent
Great food, service and a lovely location had a fab time
Service dreadful delays although apologised and gave discount
We took our in laws for breakfast .The service was fantastic and food excellent the view over the marina is really nice and makes for a very relaxing theme .Lots of choice on the menu and very attentive staff made for a great morning.
Had a lovely breakfast to celebrate a friends birthday. Lovely table overlooking the marina and race course. Food was delicious and the service was good too, even though the restaurant was busy. Have had evening dinner here before and that was good too, so would highly recommend this place.
Great location overlooking the marina.
Cool place to be.
The service was very slow. They had a big 18th birthday party group there and it had a direct impact on the service. Information on this would have helped.
Good location and good food. My only reservation is that despite us being the only people in the restaurant it took so long to get served. On arrival a member of staff was on the phone and although he acknowledged our presence we were left standing whilst plenty of other staff ignored us. There was another long delay before we ordered which again seemed unnecessary. I had two 4 year olds with me but no entertainment for them which is unusual not to have some crayons etc. Other than that lovely staff. Will return but not if pushed for time
Our lunch was absolutely love cooked to perfection, everyone was warm and welcoming and the area it’s self is so peaceful and love views overlooking Windsor racecourse
Loved the scenery and the staff were amazing. The food was incredible and can not wait to return for more
The best ribs I have ever tasted. Service exceptional. If I could give it 6 stars I would
The restaurant is gorgeous, the view is gorgeous and the food is delicious. Would recommended in summer to get a window table. I would say it’s expensive (maybe a tad too expensive) but the food is amazing so would happily pay the prices for the service, food and views. Can’t wait to go back.
I would recommend this resturant as the quality of food that we actually got to try was good and the waiting staff were brilliant, however it was disappointing that i visited here to try the beef ribs and after 40minutes was told that the ribs wernt cooked enough and wouldnt be ready any time soon. Then when trying to order a steak as a reluctant second choice was told that they have had a bad shipment and had many complaints about the steaks so suggested the hanging fillet skewer, which was nice but absolutely not worth almost £30. I would have prefered to leave after the first two choices were not an option as it was an anniversary meal, however my partner has his heart set on the pork ribs which he really enjoyed.
fast food menu not suited to many, please accommodate for people who want healthier food!
Perfect spot for all occasions. The food was exceptional and the service was very attentive.
Great food and sitting outside was a bonus for the ambience .Service friendly and attentive.
It was our first time and we were pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was. Great atmosphere location and staff super friendly. We would definitely recommend it and will be going again
Birthday outing for four. Great evening with lovely staff. We all had the fish burger with EVERYTHING and they were delish!!
Fabulous view of the river and as a treat the horses were running at Windsor racecourse which you can clearly see from the restaurant.
Nice placed tucked in the Windsor Marina. Great place for a sunny day. Service was slightly slow, nevertheless food was surely worth waiting for.
The food is consistently of a high standard. The location is ideal. The staff are efficient & friendly.
Have visited on a number of occasion always found their food and service both excellent .The Mediterranean starter is amazing and very filling.
Nice view. Service quite slow and waitress was obviously somewhat out of her depth with any questions asked regarding the menu. Food was good. Apparently in the evening or when its busy the story is different and the service slower, according to my friend who was with us.
The food was great, table for 2 was a little small, nevertheless a great meal out, quality of the ingredients was superb. I had the Zulu steak and it was excellent and as I have my steaks blue there’s no hiding a poor cut, pleased to say this one was great, I would have liked the skillet to have been hot, this must have overlooked but you still lose points for this, really good and I will definitely go again
Great food, service and ambience. We shall be going again soon.
Good food nice staff and lovely outlook would recommend
Nice place . Mainly meat dishes but done really well . Service is a little slow if they are busy and it's a little expensive for what it is . However worth a visit and would recommend
Why GO GO is a NO NO for me. We arrived at 7.15, and told the cod on the menu board was not available. We ordered 2 glasses of wine, £22.00! no starters, 2 spatch cock chicken with chips & corn on the cob,£39. followed by 2 chocolate brownies. The services was friendly, though not very attentive. The noise level was high & made conversation difficult. When the bill arrived for £85 I was shocked as this is Windsor, not the west end!! For what we had £50/55 would seem more in line with what we had
The food is good - over cooked one of the steaks as requested but generally it was nice, and so it should be for the money
However the service and organisation was terrible. We had to wait in the bar 30 mins for our table that was booked at 5pm, and I had to check on it twice despite being told someone would come and fetch us. I’m also convinced our table was given away in the time we were waiting at the bar as there seemed to be some panic amongst staff when I checked on the status of the table for a second time.
Service was slow and poor. Rather un-attentive for the money you pay (they have water cups but didn’t offer us table water for example). No wine chiller for a pricy bottle of white and I had to ask twice for one to be bought over. We also asked for another bottle of wine afterwards that never arrived. No desert/coffee menus offered after our main so instead of spending more, I asked for the bill and then was kept waiting for payment so in the end had to get up and pay. It’s just as well we’re honest, they wouldn’t have realised if we just slipped off!
The bar we were made to wait in before our table was ready was noisy and frankly there were too many people packed in there and not enough staff. Empty glasses and rubbish everywhere and then a lack of glasses to serve drinks in (had to make do with a large wine glass for the Prosecco for example - mum is fussy!) I realise there was an event at the racecourse next door, but it was clear they hadn’t foreseen an increase in custom from it which is poor planning. In the restaurant itself there is hardly any room to manoeuvre around the tables and the tables themselves have massive metal stands in the middle of them that make getting in and out even more uncomfortable.
Overall the food is nice and should be as it’s priced at the higher end of what’s reasonable, and it’s a nice location by the water, but if you’re after good efficient service for a special occasion, this isn’t the place for you.
Food was okay but overpriced. Service slow but probably due to an event nearby. Lovely setting, maybe one for a drink opposed to a meal.
Not the first or last time for a night at Go Go's. Great night and great food again.
I went with my wife for her birthday, we’ve been a few times before and have not been disappointed
Possibly. The food for 2 out of 3 was very good. Gluten free not really catered for. The chicken I ordered having waited over 30 mins, I was then told you had sold out. My friends steak wasn’t cooked as she ordered
The food, experience and environment are amazing here and every time I’ve been, I say the same.
If I could ask for one thing it would be for the service to be a little quicker, but I fully appreciate some of this is because it’s so popular and the kitchen is busy.
First time visit. I am used to extremely high standards in service and food quality from globally known venues. This experience ranked near the top across the board from the initial welcome through seating, food quality, general demeanor of the staff ( with the right mix of attentiveness and friendliness without crowding )to alternative gin recommendations and deserts. I can only write based on my experience but this evening this was faultless and also excellent value. Guaranteed many repeat visits for sure.
Overall fab food. Muscles and ribs fab! Would have again. Burger nice but you pay separately (£1.50) for your toppings and the cheese was a very fine thin slice like you can buy in the supermarket. Otherwise great.
