Very good service, the best view in London and a wonderful atmosphere. Its relatively expensive but you get what you pay for in terms of view and ambience.

You CANT just have a drink you have to order a main course food each person and if you try to reserve a view they won’t reserved for you. I booked advance and request for a seat with view for my wedding celebrate and the staff says”everyone all of them here are celebration too” also they say MUST ORDER FOOD, but I saw some of the customers they only have DRINK。 never ever come again

Lovely setting and great service but food is terribly poor.. Well overpriced, pretty tasteless and meagre portions. Disappointed. Would certainly not recommend for food.

Nice evening with a window seat, great view and great service.

Menu had 2 options available (rice or burger) and did reflect the menu options on open table (hence why we booked). Crab burger wasn’t nice at all - too greasy.

Service wasn’t great either. Did not understand the waitress and vice versa. Table was too small, no leg space, chair back was too far back so couldn’t sit comfortably.

Had to ask for salt and pepper after food arrived. No napkin.

Main thing is, menu was completely different to open table.

Great views but food and drinks weren’t great and significantly over priced. Why serve a fish broth with a chicken dish? Sushi platter for £52 was about 6*2 pieces of fish, no rice or anything else.

The staff at the entrance were rude, not only to us but also a family of 5 who walked out and the maitre'd chased them to the lift and managed to bring them back. They reduced our 2 hours to 90 minutes only advising us when we were being seated, no email prior to our arrival advising of the change in times...my 19 year old son was asked for ID when he sat down, he did not order an alcoholic drink - I understand if he had ordered an alcoholic drink then ask for ID...in the end we decided the vibe was too uncomfortable...one waiter was fabulous to us and we tipped him accordingly but we left early feeling a bit annoyed. The next day at check out other guests were making a complaint about some 'mis-understanding' which had also occurred in The Gong the previous evening...it is so unfortunate because the location and views are stunning and the decor is amazing...pity about the rude vibe.

Great views and very amenable staff. A young crowd often very interested in eating eachother's faces... all rather serious at the business of seduction. At over 50 we were OLD.
Oh, and some of the cocktails are an acquired taste.

Lovely experience, good food. Definitely going back again next year.

Great for a first date. Quiet enough to do have a nice time.

Excellent experience for a special birthday. We sat in the pool area for drinks but would have been nice to be in the main bar area. The bar was fantastic with amazing views. Even the toilets were of a very high standard adding to the over all experience. Can't wait to go again

The views from the gong were fantastic! The atmosphere and vibes were second to none! And the old fashioneds on the special were the best I’ve had!

I booked Gong for birthday drinks and requested best available window seating. The team were incredible and honoured the request by giving us the best seats in the house.

We had an amazing time drinking champagne and admiring the stunning view!

We didn’t eat at GŎNG, just had cocktails, expensive and small measures, the smallest cocktails I have ever had. Ambience and service was very good though

Lovely experience. We were given a window seat with a fantastic view over Tower Bridge. Drinks expensive but didn't mind as a one off special experience. Staff & service great. It's a shame they can't guarantee a window seat to everyone in advance - I can't really see what the point would be in going to a bar at the top of the Shard if you can't see the view. Definitely recommend if you are by the window!

We went to Gong for drinks to celebrate my girlfriends birthday and its safe to say she absolutely loved it.
The staff were kind and friendly, the view is spectacular and we really enjoyed our time there.
