Had a very authentic tapas experience. Lovely good and good wine recommendation. Would recommend 👍
Good food. Fitted in a largish group (10)- v helpful. But overcharged one of our group (£90 rather than £19) and took ages to repay them.
Very tasty paella and pasta. Nice Estrella on tap. Friendly and attentive service.
Relaxed atmosphere and the food is interesting. Service is efficient . It’s a handy place to go after visiting Tate Britain. Upstairs bar area has better atmosphere than basement.
Went to Goya with three ex work friends and had a selection of tapas and a dessert.
Service was excellent, good great, ambience very Spanish.
Manages to be an authentic Spanish experience in the heart of Pimlico
I would not recommend on a busy night though. We were rammed in to a seat and the menus were kind of handed to us over the bar
A great Pimlico casual restaurant serving great food and wine.
As usual, everything was amazing!
It’s been 20 years since we were Goya regulars. No longer living in Pimlico meant that Goya slipped off our radar. Very pleased to find nothing has changed too much. Friendly service, good food, convivial atmosphere, still great value. Won’t leave it so long next time...
I thought it was perfect :) Relaxed, unassuming, and felt like being in Spain. I 've been told it was thoughtful to book it as it made everything quite seamless.
Good value for money. Great food with fabulous service.
Goya is always my favourite restaurant whenever I visit Tate Britain. Lovely gem tuck in the nice and quiet part of London and perfect for a late after-exhibition meal! Love their delicious tapas. We always ended up ordering too much but prices are reasonable so it didn't hurt our pocket! Good food, good prices and very attentive service, what more could you ask for?? Highly recommended!!
Highly recommended, good food & excellent service. Have eaten here many times and it never fails. Great for group bookings.
Delicious tapas, lots of choice. Friendly service and a good wine recommendation. Wasn't busy when we were there and food was delivered quickly.
Lunch before a visit to the Tate.
Good food polite service fair value
Goya Pimlico was a great restaurant for us while we were on vacation in London. It was convenient to the flat we had rented, which was the thing that brought us is. The thing that brought us back was the great food, lively atmosphere, reasonable prices and superb menu. We had tapas one night and menu entrees the following night. The restaurant was bus, even though it was during the week, had outside seating, and all in all was a great.
Very nice authentic tapas restaurant. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Food very good with some nice specials
Loved it, great food. Plenty of veggie options. House win was nice.
Good local restaurant always busy with reunions and family gatherings.
My husband and I love this place and go every time we visit the Tate which is often as we are members.
A small place in a good location. Very nice menu choice and good quality tapas dishes. Efficient and friendly staff providing a good service. First visit for a light lunch but it will not be the last.
Very enjoyable early supper. Excellent food and wine. Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice and close to Tate Britain.
Excellent authentic tapas. Reasonably priced and a good location. One of the best around.
This was our second time lunching at Goya and it didn't disappoint. Authentic, friendly Spanish restaurant that delivers fantastic food matched with great wines served by charming and friendly team. We love it.
Based on other reviews I expected a rustic, flavoursome Spanish tapas offering... they must have gone to a different restaurant. Bland and greasy food (patatas bravas with some canned tomatoes spread on the top), shop-bought stale bread (not Spanish style), poor quality tasteless olives. Baffled how they can get the basics so wrong. Disinterested maitre d' and really slow service on a Wednesday evening at 6.30pm. We sat outside at cheap metal tables after visiting Tate Britain, wondering how this place gets any repeat business offering low quality food at high Pimlico prices.
Jose Pizarro this is not. Don't waste your money.
Great meal with great service.
Yes. I have recommended Goya and will return. We had a table outside. It was authentic, lovely food. First class. White Rioja was delicious. Service excellent.
Sorry but the food was a disappointment. The seafood in the paella was overcooked and the chicken clearly hadn't been cooked with the rice and vegetables, which by the way were fine. It was my first visit so not sure if it's always like this. It's got such lovely atmosphere and the staff are friendly, but afraid I felt it was expensive for poorly executed food.
Pleasant little Spanish tapas restaurant in Pimlico. Decor rather pedestrian. Tables quite crammed. Service courteous but on the slow side. Food very good and wine excellent. Would certainly return.
We sat outside on a lovely evening with great food.
Friendly service, good food, convenient for Tate Britain
I passed by this place many a time and finally got a chance to dine here. Unfortunately, I was a tad disappointed. Their fish soup felt like a soup out of a can and the seafood felt frozen. It was so watery that I barely found it tasty. The rest of the tapas was alright. There’s no wow factor .... food or service was alright only overall
We didn't stay for our booking.
Staff were rude and dismissive. Our table wasn't ready which we normally wouldn't mind waiting, but the staff were incredibly unfriendly about it.
Worst of all, while we were waiting our friend went to the Male toilets and witnessed a staff member leave without flushing or washing his hands. Our table was ready when he returned but we decided to leave anyway.
Extremely slow service. It took more than an hour for food to come out and unfortunately some dishes still not cooked through properly. Staff dismissive and unapologetic.
Fabulous food, good service great location
This is a fantastic little restaurant, run by Spanish, and frequented we noted my Spanish diners. The food was excellent and received promptly. It is definitely a good place to book.
Goya, Pimlico. My family and I have eaten at Goya on numerous occasions. Goya always meets our expectations and I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great valu for money, very tasty food. Local gem that remained the same year after year....Spanish experience outside of Spain 😊
Extraordinarily miserable staff
