I had the Shou set meal and it was wonderful. A diverse range of food.
Excellent as always, but advertised dress code was clearly being lowered by doormen we noticed our way out as they were allowing several men dressed in sports gear in! If you want to keep your elite status Hakkasan, keep your standards high!
The staff are great particularly when it’s so difficult to work with masks and hear what people are saying through them etc
Food great as always but was very disappointed to see that some old “favourites” like singapore noodles and the chocolate bomb have been taken off the menu
Fantastic restaurant, we love the ambience, the food is exceptional and brilliant service.
It was great
Fab food & Cocktails but a little loud
Service was simple but very rushed, no enthusiasm or explanation of the dishes. Had Pearl set menu. Dim sum excellent and duck with caviar outstanding, but black pepper beef was like a basic jar sauce and very chewy and sweet. Cod with honey and champagne was almost syrupy sweet, not a good match with the fish. The dessert was good but really nothing special for the price. At £340 including 15% mandatory service charge for two of us we just left feeling disappointed... In a city like London there are so many better options for the price...
Divine surroundings , delicious food and definitely worth a visit. Staff were attentive and friendly.
Our server was so nice , he was a young black boy he was so patient so kind and always ready to serve us straight away and came to us when we needed anything.
This place is absolutely outstanding. The service was 10/10 and the food was perfect! I will definitely visit again and again.
My boyfriend and I have made hakkasan our go to place! Never have been disappointed
Good but not Michelin star. We had a couple of outstanding dishes like the the crispy duck salad and soft shell crab, others like Hakka noodles and sweet and sour pork were pretty standatd. Overall disappointing for a Michelin star restaruant especially as you certainly pay Michelin star prices. Service polite and okay but agian not what I woudl expect at Michelin star restaruant, our paltes were not cleared, our water was not refilled, had to ask two different staff for new chopsticks, overall lack of attention.
I was so ill after the meal service was terrible but restaurant took off service charge thank you
Food and service outstanding! However between courses not enough of a break. Music too loud for easy conversation! Overall highly recommend 😊
We have been going to Hakkasan for years and Hanway Place has always been the best venue. Last night the food was well below our expectations. The menu was restricted and the citrus chicken was just plain awful so we sent it back. To be fair jt was deducted from the bill but overall at this price point every dish should be exceptional. The price of the dim sum has rocketed also. We are back on July 5th with the rest of our family and do expect to see a marked improvement.
Very special meal here. Food and service was outstanding. Music a little too loud to allow conversation though.
This was my fourth time at Hakkasan, and first one since the pandemic started. I didn’t recall the food being so delicious, the cooks managed to surprise me again.
Just wonderful- food, service and value 👌🏻
Great food, drinks, quick service! Had a very very good time
It’s been 16 years since I last visited Hakkasan.
Time hasn’t only been kind to this subterranean jewel, it has become a timeless classic on London’s dining scene. Hidden down a dark slate staircase just off Tottenham Court Road, the vast dining space is decorated and divided by beautiful eastern influenced dark wood screens, moody lighting and lanterns. The long, wide, slate-backed bar is illuminated by water gobos dancing across the rear wall.
Arriving is like stepping onto a James Bond set.
Even at lunchtime on a warm, sunny, summer’s day, this place was buzzing. The service was exceptional, the staff attentive, the dim sum historic and soft shell crab with red chilli was legendary. The dessert board was equally impressive.
One word of warning.
The silent but deadly ’The Hakka’ cocktail could be fatal. It was a Pina Colada reimagined by way of Shanghai Triads.
After two of these I half expected Daniel Craig to come crashing through one of the screens followed by a phalanx of assassins and Komodo dragons marauding the aisles.
We left shaken and stirred.
Totally amazing, sadly couldn't afford for it to be a regular occurrence but perfect for a special occasion. It is dark, and the music is quite loud, not for everyone but if you're comfortable with the ambience, a great experience.
Amazing food! Awesome atmosphere , couldn’t recommend enough
Lovely as usual. Prices are exceptionally high but beautifully presented delicious food
Food has been a lot better.food wasn’t very hot.broke down on the motorway and no one was answering the restaurant phone.
Always a pleasure at Hakka Hanway Place. Great vibe, delicious food and good service.
I don’t really like Chinese food but this place owns that cuisine on its own imo.
