Amazing service , Amazing food , Amazing atmosphere
Had an amazing time there, with very good food and atmosphere
Dark cosy atmosphere although a bit too loud. The food really didn’t excite me. We got the festive set menu and nothing on there left any lasting memory. It just didn’t feel worthy of the high price tag. Service was good but we specifically reseated a particular menu, and reiterated it, and at the end we were still charged for a more expensive menu. However when we raised the point they accepted our argument and amended the bill
Immediately so credit where it’s due for that. Nothing particularly wrong with the meal but I wouldn’t go back.
Great food and amazing service. Thank you!
The food is not hot enough
It was our second time at Hakkasan and unfortunately the staff was not as attentive as last time which was too bad cause that was one of the things we really enjoyed on our first outing.
However, the food was amazing as always and we will certainly come again!
Special pre Christmas dinner with friends. Lovely twist on traditional dishes. Really enjoyed atmosphere and service too.
Amazing food and table service.
Very busy bar and not the best service.
We went there for lunch on a Saturday because it was unusually free to book and we understood why, although an amazing restaurant it's better to go for dinner because it is very dark and quiet, it's also underground so it kind of isolates you from the rest of the world. Amazing food, very pricey but I would think it's worth it.
Recommended dishes: Pipa duck (the best!!), Black truffle duck, but honestly everything tasted really good so know you'll enjoy whatever you order.
Chaotic, dark, noisy and cramped. Food was nice despite a small menu. Would not return in a hurry
This place has just become ridiculously expensive with smaller portions. Food is still great though!
I eat at Hakkasan in Qatar regularly and was disappointed with this outlet.
The cost was about the same but the quality did nor meet the high standard I have come to expect of Hakkasan. The restaurant was overcrowded with so many waiting staff that there was no space to move my chair was knocked multiple times and when finally a waiter dropped a serving dish down my back we were moved to another table. The wait staff were poorly organised and there was a lot of shouting between them. Not the calm professional service we get elsewhere at the same price point. The wine was not opened in front of us, the food menu was limited and of a lower quality.
Not the epicentre it once was. Food nice but service horrific. To be fair the management provided free drinks by way of an apology. But the service were not on form.
Got to our table 50mins late. Then waited another hour for them to bring the wrong food. We then waiting another 30mins and our food was brought in stages. A joke of an evening.
Eye-wateringly expensive for underwhelming food. Some dishes were really interesting, others very bland.
All was perfect, but there was to much noise, that was a bit of a pity.
Service not great, menus took a long time to arrive, twice they got the order wrong.
Probably because of noise!!!
But food is always really good.
Tried the DimSun Sunday for the first time. It looks, as if there's a large growd, that uses this not to expensive event to visit Hakkasan.
The cocktails are not as good as the ones you will get in the evening. So that was a disappointment for me. Also the growd is brinning a lot of noise in the stylish restaurant.
Some of the staff members were pretty helpful, the other ones ignored you, while willing to pay.
So the place has a Michelin Star? Sundays it has not zero stars, it has minus one, cause it transfirms into a kind of a noodle palace restaurant.
the food in Hakasan was amazing as ever - never disappoints. Attentive service and good ambience
Hakkasan Hanway Place is the original and still the best!
What could be better on a dreary Sunday lunchtime in winter? Great food, top service and wonderful cocktails! Been coming since they first opened.....
We have been coming to Hakkasan for years now and everything has always been excellent
However I’m not sure what happened on Saturday night
Our drinks were plonked on the table and the waiter was on us straight away for our orders trying to hurry us up
Two of main course arrived cold and had to be sent back and the rice came out approx 10minutes after the rest of our food
A very disappointing experience all round
More than half an hour before the table was ready despite the reservation. Not good for a restaurant of this level
Fantastic meal - food was outstanding as were the cocktails. Service was great.
In a word `Stunning` could not fault the food or service. Its a real experience and we came away buzzing.
Not at all intimidating or pretentious like other top venues and at no point were we rushed.
Would recommend highly
Booked this for my parent’s 30th anniversary meal and they had an amazing time. Loved the food, brilliant service and the desserts had a Happy Anniversary message in chocolate on them. They loved it and felt very treated.
This was top-end Chinese food at top-end prices. We have been before, at lunchtime, and the dim sum are excellent; this was a different dining experience, but again high-class, we’ll return.
The concept of high end Chinese cuisine is well executed with imaginative twists on Hakka dishes. The flavours are full of richness and depth. In its effort to impress, I felt that there needed to be some more balance of milder and neutral dishes on the set menus to counter the ultra strong flavours of virtually every dish. Truffle sauces and super spicy hot chillies need counter balance with perhaps more simple veg offerings. The ambience and service was top notch and it the restaurant feels very much like a destination perfect for both dates and meals with friends. The quality of the food and service justifies the high prices. It’s definitely a memorable experience well worth checking out for a special occasion if you are after quality.
Excellent food and service was attentive. Sake selection was brilliant. Great ambience. Was very pleased with our extended time so we could have dessert. Excellent dessert wine choices.
Great food but under way below standard for a Michelin Star restaurant to have 2 hours seating so one have to hurry finishing the dessert and not being able to have coffee afterwards.
Mala experiencia.
The staff were very pushy and felt my date and I were being watched and timed
Food and service was amazing
Het eten was top en de sfeer al helemaal. Het is een ultieme ervaring die ik zeker iedereen wil aanraden
Probably the best Chinese restaurant in London, the standard of cooking is superb
Excellent food and service really top level fusion highly recommended
Food OK, not excellent, the sweet corn soup exellent, the musroom soup was poor, The duck was good and the prawns plain, the deserts look great but the taste is noting special. Very expensive. Service is strange, there are 10 diffrent people serving you and none of them is your waiter
The food is amazing as good as anywhere in London Staff are friendly if not as on the ball as they could be but still a very enjoyable time
What an amazing Place and electric vibe underground London! The best dim sum I have ever tasted, it warmed my heart💓 We had a romantic sett lunch with cocktails and champagne. We will come again!
Dissapointed that I requested something special for my partners 30th birthday and they put a happy birthday message on the dessert I ordered for myself.
Dim sum was very good.
Excellent food, service and ambience, Went with my wife and teenage children for my wife's birthday.
entered that it was a birthday on open table when booking and the restaurant picked it up without prompting. The dessert came up with Happy Birthday piped onto the plate. It is very expensive but worth it for a special occasion.
The only slight negative is that we were asked to vacate the table after 2 hours which was slightly earlier than we had naturally finished our meal, I know that they make you aware of this at time of booking and they did it in a polite way but when you've spent in excess of £550 it would be nice to finish the meal without rushing.
