Quality of food has drifted downwards - dim sum was excellent but all other dishes were meh and on a par with a local takeaway.

We chose this restaurant for our twins 18th we chose the pear menu and food was lovely however we felt very rushed we were given a table on the edge of the restaurant and was not made to feel special in any way the waitresses just didnt have time and the sommelier
had a bad odour which was unpleasant the bill was in excess of £1000 and really was not worth it ... will not be returning

Wish I hadn’t bothered. Over rated & over priced. Food was good but flavours felt lacking. Service was terrible, starters came before drinks, I had to send food back just to have a 2 mins between finishing one course & starting another. Full of chavs.

Great evening. Staff were super attentive and very professional. I would say that the food was a solid 8.5 out of 10. Brilliant but not mind blowingly excellent. It's not great value for money- expect to pay top whack!

Staff at the doors shamelessly disinforming the customers. One of them stated that I was already gone and left my husband, while I was all the time of 2 minutes in the restroom. This caused a major disruption in our evening. She ruined our time there.

Plum Blossom set menu for 2 -
Fish inedibly sweet, beef was too chewy, chicken breast was dry but the curry sauce was nice, crab was absolutely tasteless. Dessert consisted of ice cream covered in rice crispies, while we were urged to leave our table for the next party as these arrived. Even at a standard restaurant this would be absolutely underwhelming, but at the price they charged this was completely angering and would have rather left and paid the £100 fee than spend upwards of £200 on tasteless food.

Delicious Chinese food in a stunning setting. Feel like James Bond on an evening off, but the feeling doesn’t come cheap.

Fabulous food and lovely service. I didn't really go for the ambience - the dining area was a bit too dark and oppressive for a lunch venue, but everything else was fantastic!

We found the menu limiting for Vegetarian options. We were mostly disappointed to be told the table was needed back in 1hr30mins. This meant we were not given a chance to even consider desert. When spending this amount of money at a restaurant I would have expected a minimum of 2hours for the table. This impacted our overall experience at Hakkasan Mayfair.

Went with me family of four, really enjoyed the ambience, felt special with the exceptional service. Was never rushed, staff were always attentive. Food was good and some exceptional but the value did not compare. Enjoyable experience but overly priced for what it was. Saying that people are willing to pay from the al a-carte menu, so I guess they can charge the price. Will probably go again but this time try the taster menu, so it fits with my budget ;-) or simply not take my kids!!!
