Very good food and service
Enjoyed an evening here with my girls for a catch up. Good food and nice atmosphere. Good value for money. Definitely going again.
Overall service was below standard for this type of restaurant. Had to look around to get staffs attention and we were kept waiting to be given a menu. However our waiter was friendly and attentive. He gave a personal service and the only reason that the review was 'far' for service rather than poor. To be given a 2 hour turn around when we were kept waiting made the meal feel rushed. Food was amazing as per usual. Ive visited Mayfair and Hanway Place restaurants on numerous occasions and always seem to have an issue an issue at Mayfair venue.
We went for a family dinner. Although food portions are large and the presentation is good somehow don't get the wow factor from food. It is ok for once in a while but I don't see myself keep going back.
Very noisy, not suitable for family with kids.
Have eaten in costly restraunts but somehow didnt feel the value of money from the food served.
However good for people watching as there seems to be a lively crowd around.
Excellent restaurant. Food was great. Only complaint we had to keep asking the waiters for drinks and bill etc.
delicious as always. Amazing food and service. Favorite restaurant in town
Great time, food was good, but music was loud, difficult to hear my date even though it was just us two on the table. Overall 7/10 (because I have had nicer potential food for a cheaper price elsewhere).
we were almost thrown out and the food was not done eaten. We had just ordered a new bottle of wine when we were told that the desert had to be served.
Delicious food and excellent service. Pricey but worth going there.
Confirmation, reconfirmation 1 and reconfirmation 2 might be annoying at some point.
Great food great place.
For a high end restaurant it felt more like McDonald's. Clearly people with more money than sense feeding babies and small children. It took the special completely out of this experience.
Business lunch - good atmosphere, food was good and caters well for vegetarians which my client was. Service was attentive and overall good experience. Would return.
Great food great ambience. But very loud music. Very good service
It was sick!
Was very disappointed as this restaurant came highly recommended so booked it 4 my bday. It was so noisy had to asked any 6times b4 I could get water which I paid for. Won't go back sorry.
Good as always
it was a very nice evening. and the food was very nice. only it came so qiuck and the starter was not yet fromn the table and all the dishes were there you have the feeling that you have to eat and go away for the next guests
This was a special occasion, 30th Birthday. We felt rushed and unvalued. We asked for Dim Sum for 4 so required 12 pieces, the waitress only ordered 8 when asked about this she said we had our mains??? What is that about?
We were treated like we were on a conveyor belt, no personal service or time to enjoy our usual Hakkasan experience.
Great service. Great night out.
Shame there’s a charge to cut personal cakes at £5 per head.
Enjoyed the dinner.
Very good food and atmosphere enjoyable and great service.
Fantastic from start to finish. Great food. Outstanding service
This is not fine dining. It is a cocktail bar that sells Chinese themed pub food. A great place for a lively atmosphere and drinks, but poor for a meal experience. Service was awful and dishes are sent out when ready, not in a logical order. A clever business plan, but not for foodies and anyone who appreciates Chinese food. Exceptionally disappointing.
With the amazing reputation that Hakkasan holds I was very much looking forward to an Michelin star meal. I was so disappointed, it’s actually quite sad. The food was nice but not something I would call Michelin star, however I also acknowledge I am vegetarian and I imagine it may have been better for those that eat meat, however my friend isn’t vegetarian and she also was impressed. The service was terrible, we were left feeling hurried and rushed, often they were too busy to come by the table and I had to keep trying to get someone’s attention. The man taking our order whom appeared to be managing the waiting staff was inpatient, clearly not interested and appeared a massive effort for him when we would ask fo questions about true menu or what he would recommend. So disappointing and I will not return I reccomend to friends.
It all felt a bit hurried and crowded but it was still nice !
Overpriced - much better prices for similar food in Chinatown. Staff complacent and lazy - packed full of tourists (who won’t come back). Used to be great but has gone downhill a lot. Almost as much of a tourist rip off as an Angus Steakhouse
The best catonese around, very impressed with the quality of the food and variety available, appearance of the food is also ten out of ten. Drinks menu is large and the cocktails are good but slightly expensive. Would definitely eat there again!
There are plenty of other restaurants where you can eat very good asian cuisine and you don't have to pay these prices.
Really tasty Cantonese food. Great signature cocktails, The Haka is my fav. Outstanding customer service and the ambience is chilled, perfect for date night.
I booked the table in advance, but we were late and I called to let the restaurant know that we would be late 15-20 min. In response I was told that our table would be realeased in 15 min after the start of the booking. I argued that it sounded ridiculous as I was calling to confirm that we were coming and asked not to release the table. It took me another 5 min to persuade th not to realease the table. When we arrived our table was waiting for us, but we were reminded several times during the dinner that we have our reservation only for 2 hours and we need to leave soon! It was not nice as we knew this and did not want to hear these reminders! This actually spoilt the whole evening, but all the rest - the good and drinks were absolutely good as usual!
Lovely ambiance in the restaurant and beautiful food. It is expensive but you have to pay for quality. It is not somewhere to eat everyday but for special occasions is it lovely. I do think for the money that you will spend on the food though, the tables are a little too close together. Be warned though, the portions are quite big.
Always 5* service and food, my go-to restaurant
The food was really awful. We were actually not able to eat it. The music was so laud that we could not talk.
The food is terrific but the between the dark lighting and the loud techno music it is not a pleasant dining experience
What a buzz in this place, full on and absolutely jumping. We selected one of the many tasting menus and the food just kept on coming. Great presentation and service and the flavours were absolutely amazing. The duck salad had to be one of my favourites. Loved everything about this place and would have no hesitation in going back.
Food was amazing, we really enjoyed! Atmosphere is very energetic.
From the moment you walk in there is staff to attend to you coat and get you a table. The service was impeccable. There is a lot of tables in the restaurant but you are spread out so you can have a conversation. The food is really the special part of this place. The dim sum truly authentic and absolutely Delicious. I cant wait to got back
First visit for dim sum lunch and loved the experience. Will definitely go again for dinner.
The food is amazing. The service is good - however pacing the multiple dishes that come to the table could be slowed down to allow for more enjoyment of each dish.
Quite authentic Cantonese food! I really loved the Dim Sum!
