Absolutely amazing food and service - thank you! Visited with my son and we had a lovely time. Would highly recommend
We booked for a party of 8. 4 adults and 4 children. Food was superb and atmosphere. Service was rushed for a 2 hours slot given it’s a party of 8. A longer time for a big group would have been ideal given the price tag .
Excellent service..fantastic food taste and very nice atmosphere.
Wonderful every dish is great even desert
Amazing food, great place for any occasion. Kind, helpful and considerate staff
We were there for a friend’s birthday. They made it special for us - the food was great, the ambience was perfect and the staff were very friendly and professional. Thank you
Poor service but good ambience and food. Waiters too quick to take food.
Lovely as usual! Nice birthday surprise too! Thank you all for a wonderful birthday
It is an amazing place however they need to get their barman checked, his ability to start making serious cocktails 🍹 has gone way down.
Good food as always. I have been there the first time on a Sunday early evening, so maybe the experience therefore was a bit different? A lot of tourists and parents with their kids that have obviously not been happy with the restaurant, it unfortunately did not had the sexy atmosphere it had in my past visits. The service was also not like I had it in my memory, e.g. the waiters have been standing around chatting and the waiting time to order was quite high. Despite this I`d still recommend this restaurant, but would say that you should go there on a weekday or Saturday late evening to get the Hakkasan experience.
Outstanding service, nice settings with dim light, very good offers, and superb food.
Lazy Sunday. We arrived at 1700. Seated near serving area (yuk!). Baby crying at next table, server requested if we would like to move, we did. Service was smooth and staff well trained. Food was very good but not great. Would have been great if they used a better grade of beef. Other dishes were excellent. House cocktails are well made, pretty but very sweet. Bill was accurate. Will be back!
This place is really over-priced for what it really is... If you want to spend half a grand to a grand for two people, then there are really better options out there... Also the receptionist and the ladies calling you to the table were just rude... where do you hire these people?
Lovely service. INSANE food. The vegetarian ‘lotus menu’ was amazing. I was sad last time I came as there was no vegan dim sum. They’ve updated and caught up with the growing movement and now provide a full vegan menu including dim sum! Could not be more impressed. Well done hakkasan.
Cocktails were good but pricey
Wine list definetely over the top pricewise and the wine waiter tryed to put us unto expensive wines with very expensive mark up and did not know what a Fleury was. food was good but disappointed could not have a half peking duck
Food was good, however was served water with a bug on my glass. Service wasn't friendly, waitress could have been more welcoming!
The service really let this place down. The first waitress at our table was completely uninterested and was happier standing having a chat with the other staff. We had to try get her attention to order drinks and then again to order food. Someone else was looking after our table after starters and he was much more attentive. However one of the main's didn't arrive with the rest and we had to chase 10 minutes later as the other accompaniments (rice & veg) were going cold.
The food was nice but the service was so disappointing. I had family visiting London for 1 night so it was a real shame.
The lady who looked after us was maria from Greece. She was wonderful. Her attention to detail was second to none. She had time for us and went out of her way to make us feel so comfortable. Normally staff do not have time to chat to customers but she did.
Staff snatched receipt out of my partners hand when looking at the bill, members of staff members refused to move from path to exit (stairway) when we were leaving ..
They were to engrossed in their conversation about football to hear me saying excuse me please at least 5 times.
Seems like the service was only good until the moment we paid soon as we had to leave things got really hostile and really rushed even though we had only been there for 1hr 20.
Won’t be going back here again the food & pricing was really decent but this ruined the entire experience
I have to say, the duck is good
But they don’t know how to cook it,
They are not skillful
the real Peking duck, outside, the skin should be crispy, inside should be juicy
And one duck should have three dish, they don’t use the whole duck, that’s the reason I said they don’t know how to cook Peking duck.
And the service is not really good, just ok
They don’t deserve this price. But it doesn’t mean they are awful, I just consider whole aspects, still can have a try
The food was excellent!! Well cooked but overpriced
First class food, excellent service. Very pricey. Great setting, staff were very attentive
The food and service was impeccable! Will definitely be returning.
The service from the people when i first entered was lovely until we was sat in the bar and not even the restaurant and had to ask to be moved and when we reached the restaurant it was empty anyway. the service we then received from the staff was appalling and we as 3 young ish girls of 18 felt very uncomfortable in a restaurant where we was going to be spending a lot of money. the staff almost looked down at us and was talking about us behind our back and the atmosphere was not nice to be in. i would not come back because of the staff.
Service wasn’t great, took 20
Minutes to come and take our order . Got served another 30
Minutes form there on
Table was gone but they were very fast to find us another one
First class but very pricey
I suppose you get what you pay for
The food was excellent but the service was poor. The waiter was preoccupied with other tables and chatting with coworkers. We sat downstairs closer to the bar which was not great ambience. We booked last minute so can’t really complain about the seating but service was fair at best
Hakkasan is a wonderful experience - from tasty drinks to delicious food, you won't be disappointed. It's got a great atmosphere, it's super fun, and the service is excellent. I will be absolutely recommending Hakkasan to all my friends who come to London.
The food was outstanding, but the service terrible, which is a real shame. Waiting for one of the main dishes whilst the food got cold for five minutes, with no apology or recognition that it was a problem. Were told it was a sharing concept, which is nonsense. We ordered our own main dishes and were served our own starters.
Not once through the meal were we asked if it was ok, nor were we asked if we wanted more drinks.
because you are on the set menu, you are clearly treating customers different to the a la carte, that is poor. You don't know if we will return again. It is such as shame, as I loved the food but the terrible service let it down.
Finally, the bill with 13.5% discretionary service was presented to us, and we had already decided we wouldn't pay this. A coupe of minutes later, still waiting to pay, our bill was swapped, and the discretionary service had been removed????????? so, you did actually recognise poor service, but what exactly were you compensating? we weren't paying it anyway. Some recognition at the time would have been appreciated rather than made to feel stupid. I have eaten at many high end places, and do not accept to be treated like that anywhere. I would love to go back, but sadly it may not happen now.
It was wonderful
Best Chinese restaurant in London! I love the food, the staff and the service! Had an amazing bday celebration there!
Amazing, great food, service, pleasant staff
Lovely experience we will be back :)
Good food. Took a while go get served though and they forgot our drinks
We have been many times before but our last experience was not great. The service was pretty poor. My husband is gluten-free and the waiter forgot to come back with the GF menu. When we eventually got the menu it was the vegan menu not the GF. We have been before and the chef has adapted dishes but this time we were told that was not possible. For example the sweet corn soup - every time we have been before we have been able to have lobster added to this but not this time. Apart from our dessert the presentation on all dishes was pretty basic. The soft shell crab came with nothing whereas before we have been given dipping sauces or at least soy sauce on the side. The main dishes as always were delicious but nothing more than expected for the price. The waiter didn’t seem to know the menu and when you have someone with an allergy this is particularly annoying especially for Hakkasan prices. We didn’t complain but clearly weren’t the only ones frustrated with the service as a table of girls next to us had the manager over to complain.
A rather disappointing but expensive night.
Very dark, thank goodness for my phone torch! Excellent menu. Really superb food served well. We will return. It was lovely if a little dark
Everything was absolutely brilliant! Highly Recommended
Always a pleasure can’t wait for my return visit in a couple offers months
The food was amazingly delicious but prices are very high.
