High end pricing but not delivering the feeling and the atmosphere. Wine priced 5-6 times the price.

Bench seat was very lumpy, narrow and uncomfortable. Service was OK but marred by staff with poor command of English. I asked for our wine to NOT be put on ice. It was put on ice. Not their fault - it’s management’s decision who they hire. Food quantity was less than our previous visits. It smells of belt tightening to keep margins up. Overall, we wanted a special occasion but what we got was very nice but not worth the price.

First time for my daughter and husband and they loved the restaurant as much as I do. Enjoyed a cocktail at the bar before heading downstairs. Food and wine were stunning and great atmosphere. Was a little cold but we asked for the aircon to be turned down and this made a big difference. Always expensive but worth every penny and the food is simply stunning.

I find it’s too dark in the evenings at Hakkasan.

I’d say it’s quite over priced but it’s always busy in there 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s a good treat to have though.

Although the food was out of this world, the service was extremely poor very abrupt staff and were left waiting a long time. At one point we had to ask someone to come over to clear our plates. To me this is unacceptable. The meal was so expensive (as expected)

The food was terrific and the staff were friendly. One of the staff did seem puzzled by my mentioning of the “Hakkasan Collection” menu, which I thought was odd given level of promotion that’s gone into that. I also thought that Hakkasan’s typically amazing ambience was not immediately felt because they had harsh lighting on at the start of our meal (afterwards it was dimmed and the atmosphere matched my previous experiences).

Loved the food. We had the bamboo set menu and it was all delicious! We loved it. My brother enjoyed his birthday puddings which was a lovely touch by the restaurant. The flavour profiles of everything was amazing and really enjoyed it.

Some very minor things were annoying, especially when our bill was around the £100 pp mark. We waited a good 10 minutes for the bill, which was fine as we were not in a rush. As soon as we paid another waiter came round and didn't give us even a second to finish our drinks, only a sip left, before taking everything away and abruptly kicking us out. Just a real shame to have finished with such a rude goodbye. We hadn't even taken up the entire allocated time slot for the table reservation! The other small thing was the chicken satay was meant to be warm but was more on the cold side, it was still delicious.

Overall it was very good and we would go back! Definitely worth experiencing.

Excellent food and service.? When just 2 of you portions are large so £12 for rice that could feed 4. Hate waste so do smaller portion for 2 to reduce costs.

Slow service, wine didn’t arrive until half way through the meal, fried calamari tasted cheap and way too much batter - very greasy, everyone taking loads of selfies - not a very posh environment but posh prices. I won’t be going back

Service was awful. 2 of the party received their main course, the other 2 received theirs 25 mins later. We ended up cancelling it. It’s a shame as the food is excellent. It is just the service especially at this price point. It was busy and it looked liked the kitchen was struggling to keep up.

A great restaurant for a special occasion. Food is excellent and well presented. You do feel that you're on a conveyor belt as it lacked that personal touch.

Never ever have I been asked to leave a table. I was asked to continue our conversation at the bar since our table was “only booked for two hours”. A great dining experience made awful by that rude interaction. Will never come back.

The food was rushed. We had the 90£ Phoenix menu. I was convinced it said rib eye, but we didn’t get any. Aromatic duck as a salad an as main course was a bit too much of the same. The dessert chocolate mousse and mandarin sorbet was very uninspiring. Not great value for money.

Image lunch was great as overall. The service was attentive but not intrusive and it was obvious we were served by individuals that knew how to do their job well. Everyone we came across was natural and genuine. The pork ribs unfortunately was fatty and the duck could have more salad (leaves) with it. However this did not put us off in anyway. Just a constructive comment for the foodto get even better. The arrangement was all too close together specially when we were there for lunch on a Sunday which have loaaaads of space avaliable elsewhere.

The best Cantonese cuisine I have had! The Hakkasan signature Peling duck was incredible! It was abit loud and little dark towards the night however the food made up for it.

I used to live in London and Hakkasan Mayfair was my favourite restaurant. It was an elegant, soothing restaurant and the food, although relatively expensive, was always delicious and a nice change from everywhere else.

Having returned to the restaurant after being away for a few years, it was much different. The food was still what I remember, more unique dishes with interesting flavours and well presented. However, the atmosphere has changed. There is quite loud club music pumped into the restaurant and a much more raucous crowd. Not the elegant dining experience I remembered. We could barely hear each other talking at the table.

Initially, the first waiter was quite rude as well. We were running 5 minutes lates and he very abruptly announced that we had to vacate the table in 85 minutes. We called over management and asked for another server - and they kindly obliged and brought over someone else and the rest of the dinner went very well.

Sadly, next time I come into Mayfair and am looking for a higher end, elegant meal, I will be looking elsewhere.
