Our second time at this venue. One of the party had special dietary requirements which were noted on booking and were acted upon on arrival. The food arrived promptly and was enjoyed by all 4 in the party, the service was affable and our recommendation to our fellow diners was justified. MoreOpenTable Diner -
My First time for a Sunday Carvery at the Village Hotel and I wasn’t disappointed. There was a very choice of starters the Roast dinner was very good I chose the Roast Beef which was really tasty and very tender my only complaint was the roast potatoes and parsnips had lost there crispness but this is only a minor complaint overall the meal was tasty and unlimited. A good choice of deserts too I chose the Ice cream sundae and the Cheese cake both of which were very nice. My wife who was vegetarian was offered the nut roast which she thoroughly enjoyed. Overall a very pleasant Sunday Roast and will definitely return in the near future MoreOpenTable Diner -
Good atmosphere, nice decor and with light airy feel. Unfortunately our bench seat in the booth we were seated at, was ripped and uncomfortable to slide along. Good extensive menu which I could have chosen several dishes from. Service was prompt and food was well presented. We felt the charge for £1.95 for soda water and lime was a little expensive, as we normally pay 70pence for the cordial and are not charged for water elsewhere. Otherwise enjoyed our visit. Offering big flavours and massive choice, the Frankie & Benny's menu is filled with New York and Italian classics. Renowned as a place for families looking for a fun, comforting dining experience, the menu spans from a juicy stateside chicken burger, to classic pasta with succulent Italian meatballs.
There is plenty of choice for vegetarian diners and those looking for lighter, healthier dishes, along with an impressive gluten-free menu. From the bar, enjoy a chilled beer, or a piled-high 'freakshake' for an indulgent treat.More
