Great friendly service combined with authentic Lebanese dishes (excellent starters and traditional dishes) and drinks (Chateau Musar is excellent). Food was prepared perfectly, but there a reasonable wait for it on Saturday evening. Ambiance could be a little more cosy, but the warmth of the welcome from the staff made up for this. This is the 2nd time we've been and both times had a real nice meal. Pretty quiet though this time, maybe as was on a Sunday evening. Little disappointed that they didn't have any desserts available at the time - but they did give us a scoop each of ice cream FOC ! MoreOpenTable Diner -
The atmosphere was upbeat, but relaxing. The service was friendly, attentive but not overbearing. We were all pleased with our food, in particular the sirloin steak which was cooked perfectly to order and the fish and chips, great batter! It was a father's day meal and was a restricted 3 course menu for a set price, which I was not made aware of when I booked so choice was slightly more limited; there was just about enough choice so we could all find something for each course, but having to pay £5 extra if you had steak and another £1.50 if you wanted a sauce was disappointing. Our ASK Italian restaurant in Southampton is conveniently located at Leisure World, on the same park as the Odeon IMAX cinema, Oceana club, Grosvenor casino and IKEA. Both West Quay and Marlands shopping centres are only five minutes away on foot. We’re open from before lunch through until late, serving outstanding coffee, lunch and light bites, and an evening menu cooked with real Italian gusto. Many of our ingredients come straight from Italy and all are as fresh as we can find them. We’re also only a 15-minute stroll – perfect for walking off a wonderfully filling Italian meal – from the Cultural Quarter, where you’ll find the Mayflower Theatre, O2 Guildhall, The Stage Door and SeaCity Museum.More
Really good night out. We booked on the OpenTable app and I don' t think they knew we were coming but managed to squeeze us in. We had a great table and it was a very busy night with a 30, 50, 60 and 70 birthday party in full swing. The music was low level and just about right until about 10pm and the DJ announced that it was time to party and the classic tunes went on and the dancing started. All in all a great night with reasonably decent food, especially with it being so busy. Good service and again it was very busy so good to have service even at this busy level. MoreOpenTable Diner -
