Hard Rock Cafe - Edinburgh
We invite you to drink, dine and enjoy yourself in a contemporary, laid back atmosphere. Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh is a vibrant and fun place to hang out among great pieces of Memorabillia to check out on your visit including Ringo Starr's Leather Jacket and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers Guitar.
Excellent food, service was brilliant, good atmosphere great value. Will be back again soon 👍
Both were very happy with the food and service, good prices for the quality of food too
Absolutely brilliant time I celebrated my 40th birthday would definitely visit again
Service was slow, our server was spending a lot of time chatting to other customers. Free refills only offered to my wife and no one else. Left waiting for bill for a long time. Had to pay at busy bar because card machine didn’t work were we sat
Nice family meal, food good, service great. Friendly atmosphere
Lovely atmosphere, staff were very friendly and welcoming and the wait for food wasn't long at all.
Only slight downfall was that I had made a request it was for a special occasion so I did expect a little more of an effort made around that and although we had pre booked still had to wait for our table. However I do understand it was very busy.
Overall was a pleasant experience and most likely would return in the future.
Think our order had been missed, we were in the restaurant 1 hour before our food arrived. After about 45 minutes we were told our order had been dropped in the kitchen and fresh food need to be prepared. We were going to a show at the playhouse straight after the restaurant and ended up eating the food too quickly in order to get to the show on time. I’ve bern before and it’s always been good but this experience was disappointing.
For food and the atmosphere. I feel the service could be improved, no instant welcome from the staff when we enter the cafe. It was not even busy at all.
We Have eaten out all over the world at hard rock cafes and i'm sorry to say the one in Edinburgh was the by far the worst one we have been to.
The service was fantastic, but the food was awful we hardly eat it, the noise within the restaurant was so uncomfortable you couldn't even have a conversation, kids crying and running about and the restaurant its self is to small and no room to move your chair as you are squeezed in, tables far to close together. was very disappointed as its not at all what we expected it to be or have been use to with the hard rock cafes..
We wont be back..
We were greeted by friendly staff and Stacey took us to our table. Our waitress Mara was very helpful and cheerful.
It's the hard rock, noisy, upbeat. Nachos had gone downhill since I was last in. Not much cheese or flavour in them. Sharing combo and sliders were delicious and nicely presented. Service was great despite being busy.
Had a brilliant night for my son's 21st
Our server John on Friday night 4/10/19 was amazing. He made my son's birthday one never to be forgotten. Hard Rock should be proud to have staff as wonderful as him!!!
Service was amazing, food outstanding, loved everything about Hard rock cafe, will be back soon.
I have been to the hard rock in Rome and London. I liked this one the best. It had just the right noise level, it’s didn't feel too cramped. Had a good atmosphere.
Friendly staff, good ambience, plenty of room between tables, and incredible food.
Our waitress was amazing, bubbly, friendly and over all a lovely girl!
Fantastic as always, i've only ever eaten in hardrock cafe, Florida. This was my partners first time in a Hardrock cafe and he loved it.
Amazing night , staff were friendly and helpful, food was lovely, overall great place would definitely recommend
The staff on entering were very friendly and helpful. We wanted one extra person and were more than happy to fulfill this even when a very busy time.
Food was also amazing, faultless!
Gutted we don't live nearer as it's a superb place to relax and enjoy good company and good food
Yet another fab experience. We have visited quite a few hard rock venues and they never disappoint.
Keep up the good work guys
Great food and service. Portions are huge!
Food was amazing as always from Hard Rock Cafe . Service not so much . Food came before the drinks , in my eyes that’s a big fail from a restaurant. I guess this is what you get from a chain restaurant. Done the trick before going to a show in Edinburgh
Could not say anything bad at all
It was lovely from the moment we stepped in. My sons 21st and they changed the music for him to classic rock and put a candle in his desert. Our 1st time in the Edinburgh branch and we will definitely be back. THANK YOU❤
Great service and excellent food. Felt welcomed as a group of 8 that needed the flexibility to potentially add an extra 2. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you!
Lovely Place just not a good building for hard rock too small
Loved our lunch at hard rock cafe in Edinburgh. The waitress was just lovely and even played an abba song for my daughter, as we were heading to the theatre to see mama Mia. Little touches like that make all the difference. Food was fab and the cocktails even better! Thank you for your service
Great, fun, family friendly restaurant and the food was exactly as described. The staff sang happy birthday to our girls and gave them a birthday sundae- which was a lovely treat!!
Such a chilled out place. Great food!! And staff were fantastic!
Great staff great place only complaint we were right at the back in a separate part of the restaurant. No atmosphere but could see everyone else in the main restaurant, soaking up the atmosphere and listening to the music 😫😫
While family loved it. Service and food was excellent. Would definitely visit again.
Food and drinks were excellent and arrived quickly, the waitress was so helpful and extremely nice along with all the other staff that served us, excellent service.
All a bit rushed, and some mix up in regards to our order. Starter and main that were to be shared arrived all at the same time? The food was great though.
Nice restaurant, staff were attentitive and looked after us. As with most Hard Rocks, was loud!
We have visited many Hard Rock Cafes and the Edinburgh one is up there with the best - of course the food is always great - portions too large but better than too small !! Really wish the sharing platter starter could be for two people as wen my husband and I order it we eat the lot and then can’t finish the mains . Tempted to try the haggis burger but couldn’t quite bring myself to do it !! The music was perfect as always a great mix of tunes and the memorabilia was very good to see. Finally our server - Verek I think his name was - was great - he knew the menu well and wen we asked for a break between starter and main he timed it perfectly. A great evening living up to all expectations- so much so we went back a second time!
Fabulous service! Would highly recommend!
Great location too.
staff very helpful great day with my daughter will be back
V disappointed with this visit. We've been to this restaurant many times, and booked this time due to the freddie mercury tribute week. It transpired there was no "tribute" activity at all the night we were there ~ why make it for a week if you're not going to do anything? Food was the usual standard and service was excellent as always, we just left feeling a bit cheated by the experience.
I always visit Hard Rock Cafe wherever I go so when I seen there was one in Edinburgh we had to visit whilst in the city. Service was great, our waiter was really helpful giving us places to go afterwards with it being our first time in Edinburgh. Food was lovely, my only fault was the steak on the fajitas was very chewy which made it hard to eat. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you are looking for somewhere quiet where you can relax and have good conversation because it is so loud you can hardly hear yourself.
I would recommend the Hard Rock Cafe in Edinburgh to anyone, amazing food and the cocktails are amazing and the desserts are fantastic and the music is fantastic and the shop is wonderful too. I will certainly be going back in November this year.
