Hard Rock Cafe - Edinburgh
We invite you to drink, dine and enjoy yourself in a contemporary, laid back atmosphere. Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh is a vibrant and fun place to hang out among great pieces of Memorabillia to check out on your visit including Ringo Starr's Leather Jacket and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers Guitar.
Gone right downhill sadly. Prices have risen, portions have fallen. £19 for a burger & chips! Food was mediocre and warm. Drinks took forever from the bar. This used to be a favourite place. We won’t be returning now.
Brilliant service, great food, fantastic evening.
Food was great and the waitress MJ was excellent. Friendly staff and also asked if I needed something. Very pleased with my visit here.
It is such an amazing place to go and eat staff are so friendly and helpful i always go there when in Edinburgh
Fabulous staff great place .Fabulous service .Was a birthday celebrations made it really special .
I always feel The Hard Rock Cafe is overrated for what it is. There isn’t a massive amount of options food wise and only four desserts. It’s also more expensive.
To sum up, it’s okay but I wouldn’t recommend it.
Very disappointing and expensive visit. Very limited choice menu and I’ve had better food at a lesser value restaurant. For this style of restaurant the service was very poor, which was very surprising and unexpected.
Despite the staff being an absolute pleasure the resuraunt is extremely over priced and a bit dated.
The food is average, but definitely not worth the money.
There are definitely nicer restaurants in the area for far better value for money.
Menu has changed a bit since last time but still good quality burgers!
The atmosphere and service were exceptional. They managed to seat us 30 mins before our booking time and were very attentive, asking about further drinks and if we required anything. The food was very good and in very large proportions so all happy. Finished it up with hot fudge sundaes which were a perfect end to the evening.
My wife had mac&cheese but instead of chicken haggis was used. I had the local burger with haggis! We both loved it!
Spinach and artichoke dip to die for
So class that they have a vegan burger which i had and it was amazing
do wish they had more options on the main menu sometimes for people who don’t eat pork per say
excellent service the hosts in the edinburgh store and our server i can’t remember names but we got there early at half 3 on the saturday just there and they were all so accommodating and the bartenders were excellent too
Disgraceful choice of vegetarian options. (2?)
Wife had the veg fajita, utter disgrace of a dish. Rank.
Had a fantastic meal. Variety of food is good and of a high quality at reasonable prices. The service was excellent our server was very attentive and informative.
Excellent classic burger if a little small. Draft beer was disappointing, flat and tasteless.
No complaints will be back for sure our server was very attentive always making sure we were ok garlic sauce was a bit salty but the food was very good we all enjoyed very much
First time at Hard Rock and would come back, food was lovely and good sized portions loved the boozy milkshake. Staff friendly and nice sized restaurant.
I liked the place, the preset diamond menu is very very basic and short on choice, however the quality is very good, nice servers, good atmosphere, I'd go again
the service was perfect, all of the servers are so great! the good was very yum and they even had gluten free buns for the burgers. can’t wait to go back again
Our waiter Merek was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was good and fast.
can’t fault anything from our visit, amazing atmosphere and very tasty food
Great staff and exceptional levels of customer service
We had already been to Hard Rock Warsaw a couple of weeks back and it was amazing, so thought we’d try Hard Rock in our own city, did it disappoint , NO WAY! Every bit as good, if not better, from the receptionists to the table servers to the bar staff , everything was no trouble at all, food and drinks all served quickly and food was fresh and tasty. They even accommodated my request for me to propose to my boyfriend , by making sure they gave him a special engraved spoon with his chocolate brownie pudding I had made asking him to marry me as it was leap year ! ( he said yes by the way!) the staff congratulated us with complimentary glasses of Prosecco . The surroundings are pleasant to , and it’s got a good vibrant feel with background music and videos playing and lots of memorabilia on the walls. Also the shop sells lots of reasonably priced merchandise which you can get a discount on by means of a scratch card that comes with the bill, a nice touch ! We will definitely be back ! Rock on!
Bar area could be but larger. Too many customers around bar. Cocktails should be bit cheaper as with the meals too. Apart from those points we had a good time
Very service minded, great surprise dinner for my husband.
Absolutely amazing customer service, ordered nachos as I'm a vegetarian, the portion was huge and delicious. My daughter had a burger, she loved it
A great welcome and good service. The place is a tad tired but generally ok.
Lady who greeted us at the front was really nice, she was chatty and had good energy. We were told about the rewards program, which sounds pretty good. Service was quick and efficient and the food was amazing - recommend the twisted mac n cheese!!
Great food and atmosphere. Staff were very helpful and friendly
Amazing. Lots of food too.
Great atmosphere as expected from a hard rock cafe, service was good and the burger was amazing. Cocktails are good too and worth the upgrade for the souvenir glass.
The food was really nice, however when serviced I requested for sauce but never received it for over 15 minutes until asking another waiter. Once finished we ordered cocktails which took 45 minutes to come.
I love the atmosphere of this place, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and always go the extra mile to make your dining experience memorable. The food is outstanding, I had the Cowboy Steak which with no exaggeration was the best steak I had ever had, and my girlfriend had burger and cheesy fries which she said were amazing. We finished off sharing the chocolate brownies which were unbelievable. All in all I would thoroughly recommend and will definitely be returning and hope to visit other Hardrock Cafes too.
A lovely meal, only spoilt slight by a tight and cramped setting. Noise level was high due to couple of rowdy groups, which can’t be helped. Food and Service exceptional as per usual.
Music and atmosphere is always great in any hard rock cafe and hard rock Edinburgh is no different. The food was fantastic as it always is.
Celebrated a birthday
What a brilliant experience we had, It was myself and my daughter as part of a girly afternoon celebrating her birthday. Our waiter was aware and made a lovely fuss of her for her birthday, with the entire restuarant singing happy birthday to her - Lovely Day!
We had an absolutely brilliant lunch for my twin sons 18th on Saturday. There were 6 of us dining and each and every one of thoroughly enjoyed the food. The service & atmosphere was great. I will definitely be returning soon.
Fantastic evening out for our daughters birthday we couldn’t fault it.
Lovely food and venue just wish it was more affordable
