The food was excelent and the service was super good. Nice staff. But a little to loud music.
All round awful experience, nasty cold food, slow service, too loud. Over crowed. Don’t waste an evening here. Had a better burger at five guys.
Love the Hard Rock Cafe however the Glasgow one is my favourite!!!
Great to take kids lady who served us made our visit extra special thank you x
We have been to many Hard Rock Cafe but the one in Edinburgh really disappointed me. Menu was limited we were put on a table and everyone kept knocking/kicking my chair! Atmosphere was not as it usually is! 😔
The venue had packed in alot of bookings and unfortunately the dining area was very cramped and we struggled to hold a conversation with each other due to the dining area being so noisey
The waitress did understand me. Even though am English. My steak was still bleeding. When I asked for well done. I didn't want the Monterey blue cheese. Which my steak salad came with. As a result I didn't eat my food. She couldn't get our drinks right we ended up pointing at the menu for her. Plus we were was over charged. My partner read the bill. Which had to be refunded. With the excuse it was head office fault.
So we got into Edinburgh on time but struggled to find parking. We were 10 minutes late for out booked table. When we got in and said we had booked a table the woman called Tracy said in a very condescending tone, Oh I've cancelled you.
So that set a tone for the rest of the visit.
There was only one other table with people at it. So why cancel it? Why take such joy at cancelling it?
Used to be my favourite place to go, but I wont be returning g and I wont recommend it to anyone.
One of the smallest we have visited, but a great atmosphere. Not a lot of choice on the menu, but what we chose was nice. 2 courses with 3 drinks came to £56.00.
Was annoyed at the fact I had booked a table for 6.30 but it was near 7pm before we were seated. It then took at least 45mins before the food arrived. We had to eat and run as we were going to a show which started at 8.30. I appreciate that it was a Saturday night and the restaurant was busy. But on booking a table for a specific time I thought 2hours was more than enough time to enjoy our meal. Not sure I would return.
While the meal was great the portion sizes were huge maybe a little reduction in size could in turn reduce prices a little
It's just the best and very friendly food all to notch would recommend the share platter and the burgers are to die for
Molly was fantastic and so on top of all the tables she was waiting on
Great place for not only food but also surroundings.
Visited Halloween and great credit to staff for going that extra mile...All togged in suitable attire.
Was a little disappointed that we had to wait even though we had booked in advance and on entering the restaurant there was lots of empty tables do not sure if the wait.
Good selection in the shop
The member of staff who served us was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable.
The food was very tasty and enjoyed the cocktails.
Bello il posto ma per il prezzo che ha il cibo non è all’altezza
Service was abysmal and had to ask several times for anything we needed. To the extent we had to go and get things ourselves. Food and atmosphere where great as usual. We were all very disappointed.
One waiter looked like John Lennon *-*
Last minute decision to dine here, only booked table 1 hour before... we were pleasantly impressed with quality of food and service!
Felt very chaotic waited ages for drinks. Food was just okay but was very expensive
Great food with really nice staff at a venue that is full of atmosphere.
Really enjoyed our meal and the atomsphere was great. Food was fast and delicious
Good fantastic, lovely vibe overall. Waitress was very friendly and helpful.
Everything was great. The food, the service and the atmosphere. I would hghly recommend!!!!
Great food busy restaurant in Edinburgh could have done with more staff had to wait a while
The waitress Frank an Italian guy very friendly...
The food was the same in Waterspoon restaurant but expensive... nothing new.
So so disappointed. The last Hard Rock cafe we had been to was Berlin a few years ago. We were having a trip to Edinburgh and excitedly decided to take our children for their first Hard Rock experience. There was no atmosphere, the menu was very limited, food was mediocre and they had no alternatives for my son who is lactose intolerant. For the price it was not worth it at all.
Ordered 2 meals and both were warm not hot. Had to send them both back.
Manager came to see us and apologised and offered us a complimentary drink.
A lovely meal to celebrate my Grandson’s 11th birthday. He’s coeliac and there’s a very good gluten free menu there.
I did comment when I booked that it was his birthday and asked for a gluten free cake. There was nothing for him nor was his birthday mentioned to him.
Otherwise service was very good.
Excellent food and a good selection of drinks. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Cocktails are very pricey though.
Very good meal and staff were very friendly and accommodating
As usual nice meals and drinks. Good music But the nachos aren‘t so Good as they used to be ! New Cheese ?
Excellent food and service. The only slight downside was that it was very hot in the rear of the restaurant.
Great staff and great food, the music could have been louder though :-)
Glad we booked a table at 5.15pm as the music was at a nice level. I've been after 7pm and it far to loud. Food is good but not many appetising options for vegetarians. The waiter was fantastic and service was excellent. Overall very enjoyable xx
Thought the music taste was Extremely poor, I understand it’s the “ hard rock” but it’s not the best feeling having someone screaming in your ear while trying to eat
Food was excellent, noise level was big, but it is understandable because it was Friday evening.
Chicken was raw and slimy when I spoke with the staff they were rude and blamed it on the lighting in the room.
Always love the must and food
Staff are so helpful and friendly 👍
Excellent food, service was brilliant, good atmosphere great value. Will be back again soon 👍
