Hard Rock Cafe - Edinburgh
We invite you to drink, dine and enjoy yourself in a contemporary, laid back atmosphere. Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh is a vibrant and fun place to hang out among great pieces of Memorabillia to check out on your visit including Ringo Starr's Leather Jacket and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers Guitar.
Staff were incredibly friendly and the food was amazing! Would Defo be recommending it!
A table that ordered after us got their before us and then they told us they were serving a bigger party before giving us our food. Even though the table who ordered after us seemed to be able to get their food before that bog order had finished. I was satisfied with this service.
Very good food, just chips had too much salt, and menu is a bit out of date.
Lovely staff, quick service despite it being busy. Food was great.
Very relaxing, brilliant service, amazing food, excellent music. Awesome all round
Hadn’t been to a Hard Rock Cafe for quite a few years but pleased to see it was still as good as it used to be. Well done to all the staff in the Edinburgh Cafe.
Just a catch up with friends but good as always
Our table was booked for 1315 and we were seated immediately on arrival, all the team were very attentive and we didn't have to wait long to order drinks and food, we all ordered different dishes, chicken burger, cheeseburger, steak salad and chicken sandwich everyone was delighted with their chioces very tasty food. Many thanks the the Hard Rock team @Edinburgh
Absolutely amazing! Staff where great, and well worth the price,SO BIG, portions 😊 thank u,and defo be bk 👍🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
I booked a table to avoid waiting. Instead upon arrival, I was hand a buzzer and told to wait.
We order wine which was average and three starters. The Bombay shrimp was salty, the wings were good, spinach dip average . We did communicate this to the waitress.
The place was noisy, including a men having a drinking challenge game in the middle of families with young children celebrating a birthday.
The entire experience was poor.
The staff were amazing, it was a difficult night with smoke alarms going off but they handled it very well. Great fun and food was perfect. Will definitely go back.
I want to give a HUGE recommendation for the Hard Rock Cafe on George Street today and the wonderful staff who looked after us all so well when we went there today for our daughter's 8th Birthday.
We got a fab welcome when we arrived but unfortunately were initially placed next to the most MISERABLE woman I have her had the (mis)pleasure of meeting 😱My 2 girls were clearly excited about being out in a rock cafe for lunch and this woman was very vocal in expressing her displeasure even though my girls were not rude or too loud, just excited. My 8 year old is disabled and this woman ended up being so rude to her. I won't go into details but I was shocked and upset and even when I challenged her she just said "I don't care where you sit or what you do as long as it's not near me!"
Anyway, as soon as I told the staff I wanted to move seats and why they were absolutely awesome. They got us a perfect booth seat, chatted to us all and especially my daughters and the amazing waitress Beth even took them to get a free t-shirt each in the shop!
They then made a huge fuss of our daughter at the end and got her to stand up while everyone in the restaurant sang her happy birthday. They made what could have been a really negative lunch experience into something awesome and I am so grateful to them for that. It can be stressful enough going out for lunch with my 2 never mind when you meet a bona fida witch and the Hard Rock Cafe made it all OK 🥰
I just want to say a huge THANK YOU from a really grateful Mum!
Too much noise from a huge amount of teenagere. Music too high. Food and service is good.
Highly attentive but not intrusive service with a fun atmosphere. Special adjustments to or order were treated with no problem whatsoever. A great dining experience overall. Just one minor issue that we ordered bbq wings but received fiery ones but they were delicious so decided not to mention it to the server.
Great night; lovely food and atmosphere. Thank you
We have come to hard rock for years but this will probably be the last . Overpriced average food . With poor service . Having to ask for drinks that had already been requested
Awesome 4th July lunch. Very attentive and friendly staff. Great atmosphere as always.
Awesome food and service! Had specific dietary needs and they were met outstandingly.
Never disappointed when dining at any Hard Rock Cafe
Nice atmosphere very friendly staff served quickly
The greeter at the door who showed us to our table was very friendly. Frank our server was also friendly and particularly helpful with the vegan member of our party describing what was and wasn't vegan and what options were available. The food was great and we all enjoyed our meal :-)
The staff was great and the food lovely but with a couple of groups in, it was very noisy, couldn't hear each other and couldn't wait to get out of there.
The waitress was very nice and very attentive. The staff was very welcoming and attentive as well. The dessert was amazing and filling. Our drinks (the hurricane and the southern rock) were both very good and we were able to get the souvenir cups from it which they gave us new ones once we checked out.
Staff very stressed on arrival. Sat us down at the back of the restaurant and asked if we wanted to order our food. We hadn’t even looked at the menu! We had the food & drink served pretty quickly. Meat on the burger was good quality and the rest was ok. Probably wouldn’t go back it was very expensive and probably not worth the money.
Very nice family meal with great atmosphere and service
Lovely staff really helpful and chatty. Can’t fault them!
Food and service was good but the ambience is a bit dark and dull partly due to the low ceilings and keeping the dark original wood etc
Was perfectly ok but would not hurry back it’s pricy fir what it is
Food is delicious, smaller starters would be fab as looked delicious but knew wouldn’t have space after their giant but delicious burgers !
We found it really cramped and noisy. There was someone backing on to the side of our table and the poor guy was wedged in his seat. Food was ok but wasn't amazing and felt expensive for what we got. Not my favourite hard rock and we have been to a few.
We were a party of 4 adult and 2 children. We were made to feel welcome and the staff were all very kind to the children. Food was good and arrived swiftly. Would definitely recommend and return for a meal. Thank you!
very good place nice food friendly staff perfect music
Went for a birthday trip meal and it was great. Food was served quickly and was delicious. Will be back. My only criticism would be there was a girl singing in the bar area and the music was playing quite loudly in the restaurant so it was quite loud. You could t really hear either very well. I’m also vegetarian and loved my food although I had to ask for my options as there was nothing on the menu.
We were early but this was no problem the the staff. We were given a buzzer and had a look in the shop. We were seated with 5 mins (15 mins) before our reservation. Yeh it was noisy but they were extremely busy it added to the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive and the fool was delicious. My 15 year old guitar playing son was in his element loved the experience. We will definitely return!
Food was great, music was too loud.. I like music but was too loud to even chat
Hardrock Edinburgh is a fantastic place. We have visited on several occasions. On the most recent visit on a Saturday night the food was good but service slow , 30 minutes to get a drink. It’s also not cheap.
Our table wasn’t ready, it was mobbed, our food took nearly an hour just to get mains and one side. Not once did we have the same waiting staff, we had to ask three times for the bill. I understand it was busy as the Spice Girls were playing that day, totally appreciate that and I thought it was a good atmosphere as a result. But slow service and food, and the food was so expensive.
Amazing place for drinks and cocktails. Had an issue/confusion with cocktails and the manager was lovely and sorted it right out straight away. High five to vino, I think his name was!
Food was average with an expensive price tag, cocktails tasted of water even after being sent back once already. Was then given the wrong tables bill.
Good food. The place was extremly busy on our visit as it was the day Spice Girls were playing at Murrayfield so we had a bit of a wait between starter and main but overall very good.
Love the food but go hungry the service is always welcoming outstanding
