Hard Rock Cafe - Edinburgh
We invite you to drink, dine and enjoy yourself in a contemporary, laid back atmosphere. Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh is a vibrant and fun place to hang out among great pieces of Memorabillia to check out on your visit including Ringo Starr's Leather Jacket and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers Guitar.
Was really nice with nice food and nice staff, not all hard rock music which was disappointing. A lot more pop music.
Whilst the fare at HRC is pretty well established, this venue seems to lack some of he buzz of others. Maybe it needs a a bit of a refurb as it seems tired and in need of some love.
The main course we had was good - very hot and not too long a wait, but they really need to work on the desserts section. The desserts are very limited and range from the monster brownie thing, to not a lot else. I can’t believe it’s that hard to rock (see what I did there?) a few more options up.
Overall, pretty good, but could be better.
Unfortunately we were disappointed with our experience. One of the main courses arrived much later than the rest of the party. The cost of the meal was deducted from the bill. The food on the whole was disappointing
I love Hard rock. I would always recommend. We went for my partners birthday with some friends and everyone had a great time. Our waiter Timothy was completly in the ball with everything
Thoroughly enjoy our night. Staff were fantastic and food didn’t disappoint. Will defo be back!
Great service, good food, drinks a little pricey but that's to be expected.
The food as always was very good. The servers Tim and Josh were very attentive and friendly.
Had a booking for 22:30 on a Sunday and we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. Really good food, good music, and what turned out t9 be a really intimate setting for my fiancé and I.
The food was great, the service was even better. Sure it's a little bit pricey but you get good quality food.
Was a lovely place very lively which made the evening very fun and enjoyable
Great food and atmosphere. Cocktails not great and drinks service slow.
Been before love it. Food continues to taste superb waiting staff friendly cheerful and attentive.
Excellent service warm and friendly staff fabulous food
Great service, all the staff we encountered we incredibly pleasant and very helpful. Food arrived very soon after ordering despite the restaurant being incredibly busy which was great. The food was very tasty and all 4 of us very much enjoyed our mains.
Had a fabulous time at Hard Rock Edinburgh. Food was tasty, drinks delicious and service excellent . The place was packed- music fantastic. Will definitely go back.
Interesting decor, plenty to keep your interest
Food was great
Excellent service - not rushed at all, server was chatty
Great venue good food variety on menu.
Staff very friendly.
Clean well decorated fun place to have group meals, been here both times we visited Edinburgh once with four others and once as a couple never disappointed.
Always enjoy Hard Rock Cafes when and where ever we have been.
Great food, brilliant cocktails and fantastic music, can’t ask for more
Excellent service. Never complain about a meal at hard rock.
Beth our server was excellent and great fun . Food was fine had a voucher from Work so choice was limited and wouldn’t have chosen what we had, however a good time overall. Oh yeh soft drinks mix was off.
Food was good and quickly served however tables are very close together, which results in a noisy restaurant.
Had great but expensive cocktails in bar while waited 45mins for table yet lots of empty seats?
Immediate service and food within 10 mins!
Fajita looked fab lovely chicken and steak but where was the Fajita flavour very plain
We had booked a table online via open table however when we arrived the table was not ready and we had to wait at least 10 minutes standing in the shop before we were seated. Our waitress was friendly and took the order for drinks before returning to double check the drinks order as she could not read her own writing!! The starters then arrived and they had forgotten to add the chicken to the nachos, this arrived 5 minutes later in a seperate bowl. Half of the mains arrived and we then waited at least 5-10 minutes for the rest of them, by which time the food was getting cold. My steak which was meant to be medium was more well done and vegetables were still hard. In view of all this we asked for the service charge to be removed as we did not feel the service was satisfactory, this provoked a very rude response from our waitress whom was not happy. We have been to many Hard Rock cafe's and feel this is experience was very dissapointing.
We booked meal for 9.00pm but were not seated for 40 minutes then meal was delayed due to problem with "tickets" ??
We have visited HRC several times previously but will consider other places now on our next visit to Edinburgh after our disappointing experience.
excellent service low prices for food en drinks only wine is expensive, cocktails are cheap
Nice surroundings, food not as good as a year ago. Nochos were nice, but the veggie burger had changed intoa quinoa burger and was cold inside....not great. Diet coke tasted like chlorine...
But overall oke place to spent an evening.
Very friendly staff, delicious food and good music.
Having eaten in many Hard Rock Cafes around the word and even this one in Edinburgh a couple of years ago this was the worst experience ever.
The waiter was very off hand and then never came to check on us.
Starter was fine but then the "fun" began after leaving us sat with an empty starter plate for 20 minutes he finals whizzed past and mumbled a quick sorry your mains will be with you in about 7 minutes....... another 20 minutes later they were dumped in front of us with a quick apology.
The Fajita were terrible the onions and peppers on the skillets were not cooked at all so not actually edible. The shrimp were just cooked on mine and I sat for a while as I was going to send them back but eventually ate the cheese and sour cream in a wrap. The duo fajita my partner had steak was tough and again the chicken only just cooked. What was worse was the salad plate had chopped lettuce which was brown and unappetizing and generally tasted like it had been prepared several hours before. As this was Christmas eve, we were really looking forward to a lovely nostalgic meal here but in fact had a disaster. The manager only charged us for the starter but having got back to the hotel room we both had decidedly upset tummies that night. Not a good recommendation at all!
Great food and service, as usual at the Hard Rock Café!
Food was mediocre and overdone. Drinks took ages to come and one of the children's meals came quite a bit after everyone elses. Staff were friendly.
Great food and really good value. Jumbo combo sharer was excellent value and really tasty. First time visit to a Hard Rock cafe but would definitely return
First visit, loved it! Staff were fantastic and food was great!
Enjoyed the meal but I was very ill for 24 hours after- coincidence?
Fab food great atmosphere and an all round vibrant bar went with my daughter and granddaughter great for all ages
Had a lovely meal with excellent service. Thank you for making our visit special.
Fantastic food. Attentive and friendly staff. Fun atmosphere. Great drinks. All room brilliant experience to have.
My daughter and I booked a table for 1730 but we found ourselves at a loose end after a busy day and wondered if we could get in earlier to eat. The staff were very helpful by getting us a table earlier which we were very grateful. The food was amazing and the feeling of the place was very good. Our daughter was happy there which makes it a lot easier for a parent. If we are ever in Edinburgh again will definitely go again.
Not a patch on the London Hard Rock Cafe - ribs neeeded more sauce and cocktails are too Americanised
Food was out of this world ! Would 100% be back again!
