Hard Rock Cafe - Edinburgh

Nothing vegetarian apart from sides, plant based burger shown on website menu but not an option in restaurant.

Food has been maintained at good standard and good portion. Friendly and helpful service. Lively ambience.

Menu selection is not varied enough though. Will be great with more choices.

We love the Hard Rock Cafe and was nice to revisit before it shut again for lockdown. Food is tasty and great atmosphere.

Usual good standard. Some may find it a bit pricey but staff are great and worth a visit.

We had a fantastic time. Our server John was brilliant with the girls and good fun. First time there for my partner and girls (aged 7 and 11) and they loved it. Will definitely be back !

Good safe environment during this time. Was in for my wife’s 50th she had a good time and the food was great.

From the moment we arrived until we left, we were treated superbly, great service at front of door and servers, food was superb, especially the baby back ribs. Thoroughly recommend for a visit and covid friendly.

John our waiter was fantastic. Made it fun and looked after us very attentively and politely

Food excellent as always. Staff were friendly. However prices seem to have increased dramatically since my last visit.... definitely puts you off coming back!

Good value and very clean, nice atmosphere, friendly staff

While the food was nice and the service was wonderful, the price range is awful and there isn’t a great selection. I wanted something light and there wasn’t an option for that unfortunately. It was okay but Edinburgh definitely has better restaurants with better value for money.

The woman who met us at the door was so lovely and full of energy. The kids really liked her. Our service was quick and the food was great. We will absolutely return. Thank you.

The food and service was excellent , just with all this COVID rubbish stupid procedures in place ! But not restaurants fault. Overall excellent

First visit for a while and not disappointed. Maybe not the cheapest place but service and food excellent. Won’t leave it as long for next visit.

Food was amazing, staff were very professional and very helpful. I am a vegan and the waiter catered for this very well, explaining the meal I was buying to me.
My only criticism however was how ambience, as the restaurant was very quiet despite it being 5PM.

Waiter was fantastic. My son is looking forward to our next trip for a game of nots and crosses

Great friendly service. Food good and reasonable price. Reduced menu was sufficient choice. Actually preferred the quieter ambience than “normal” times.

Overall our lunch was very good with staff attentive and following current guidelines. All our food was very tasty and despite running a shortened menu there was still enough to choose from and enough variety.

The burgers were nothing special, quite average for the prestige hard rock is known for. The meat was little overdone . Burger on a whole was dry cleaner, no sauce inside only on a side .

Waiter asked for sauces while serving plates, I’ve asked for ketchup and mustard And he forgot, had to ask another member of the team for sauces what took around 5 minutes altogether while my dish was getting cold...

Not impressed, won’t be back.

Staff were welcoming upon arrival, food wasn’t up to par with the price, small portions for food that wasn’t that nice, would maybe come back when there wasn’t a restricted menu

Have been since lockdown many times and I just love Hard Rock Cafe. They do there best under the situation and do it well

Meeting up with my sister-in-law for the first time in months and needing somewhere safe, it’s the only place I would go! Greeted at the door by the wonderful Paige. She enquired about our day, made us feel very welcome. Temperature was taken and hand sanitizer as soon as you walk in. Maria on clean team was very visible. Waved and eye-smiled then continued to clean everything. Verek our server was extremely friendly and attentive. Always checking to see if we need anything. Christos the manager was lovely. It was a pleasure to spend part of our day with him and his fabulous staff.

Underwhelmed burger was greasy ,£10.00 for a pudding , wont be back

First time back at Hard Rock since the beginning of the pandemic. Certainly different and quieter but staff very welcoming and John was great with my two great nieces! Nice to be able to do something nice during this difficult time.

Great place to visit. Menu isn’t huge and not many vegan choices but everything that is served is delicious!

Tracey, Craig, and Klaudia were all really really excellent :) really improved the dining experience for us. I would say the food is too expensive and there aren’t very many vegetarian options but in terms of the staff they are truly 10/10

Visited during the level 3 lockdown, food, cleanliness, staff were all great, they still had music on in the background which was a bonus, but pricy though it was worth it.

As always excellent food and good value. Staff friendly and helpful. At this time hygiene excellent everything sanitised well. I would recommend this as a safe environment to enjoy a meal out and try to bring a bit if normal into this trying time.

Everything was outstanding despite the situation we are all in just now!! We will definitely be back soon!!!
