Endured an 1 and 20 minute wait for dinner. My steak was too rare and my friend's was overdone. We traded steaks, because we didn't want to wait another 1+ for another steak. I must say that when the manager (Yuri) came by and we told him about the meal, he immediately offered several options to us, in order to resolve the situation. The issue seems to be that the kitchen is shared by all on-site dining facilities and it isn't large enough to support the amount of food needed. However, I will say that the food and service in the Gold Cup Wine Bar was consistently good and promptly delivered. I was expecting a pleasant dining experience at Harrimans, but instead I was very disappointed.
The food and service here was excellent. The appetizers were "crazy good", especially the corn bread. The thought the prices were a little high, but it was a once in a while experience.

Had lunch and dinner here a few times before and loved it. But, made the mistake of sitting in the Sunday brunch area this time. Even for a buffet (which I didn't realize this was until it was too late), the service was abysmal. The food was no better. Drinks were extremely limited in selection. Come here for lunch or dinner, and you will likely enjoy. However, come here for brunch, and you may feel like me, wondering what on earth I paid all that money for.
Menu needs upgrade as basically the same menu selection we experience the previous night in the wine bar. Was expecting a better dining experience of a resort of this caliber. Not as advertised on your website. Food was just ok. Left the resort to visit Tysons area for a better dining experience.

Harrimans offers a varied menu and generous portions. Our meals were flavorful and the food was well plated. Foer anyone planning a meal there, definitely order the cornbread. It was outstanding.

The steak and sides were bland and not cooked well. Not great, for the value.
The dinner was very nice. The only thing that got me was the waiter brought us the wrong side dish and then instead of leaving it on the table and returning with the correct side. He picked it up and said this may belong on another table. I have never been to a restaurant that did not leave an incorrect item on the table for the guest to eat if they choose. Much less pick it up to put on another table!! I was shocked based on the level of the resort.
We had a great meal! Our server was exceptional and we enjoyed our time very much. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The food was delicious and flavorful, portions more than generous and the service outstanding. The added bonus of live music was a delightful surprise, however we wished other guests would have minded their young more out of respect for all. The initial childrens’ interest in the music was cute, but the running, shouting and increasingly disruptive behavior diminished our dining experience. Nonetheless, we will be back.
I was very excite to take my wife to Valentine's dinner. Harriman's get great props for ensuring we had a seat when it turned out that I made a 6:45 AM reservation instead of 6:45 PM. I truly appreciate their consideration!! we had several correctable issues: 1. the meal was prix fixe, of which we were aware. But we could not find the menu anywhere in advance. so, we went in blind and the food choices were all non-standard fare. I've had superb filet at Harriman's in the past, and expected such a mainstay would be available. this was not the case. The service started very nicely, but after three attempts to deliver the meals of our neighboring table foods - about which I did not complain - the serving staff seemed uncertain of them selves and got behind. The staff served an item and we waited a brief period for our waiter to come describe the dish, but he was often too late. We had to ask for coffee at dessert, and were not offered refills. Finally, I provided my valet parking ticket at the recommendation of our waiter - thank you very much - when I asked for the bill. This provided the valet team at least 10 minutes to get our car. No such luck, after the bill came, we paid and the bill was all settled, 10 minutes had passed. We went to get our car and waited another 15 minutes. Everyone that left the building after us while we were waiting got their car before us. And I paid nearly $500 for that evening. The wait staff was friendly and courteous; the music was delightful.
Valentines Day fail. Awful. I don't post negative reviews ever, but this was the worst dinner ever and I'm never spending money there again.

The Sunday brunch is awesome! My family enjoyed it very much. The service is great and they are very patient with families.

We had a great experience at Harrimans! The atmosphere was just what we were looking for (upscale, but not too stuffy). We enjoyed the cornbread as an appetizer (they were out of their burrata the evening we were there, but we will be back for another date night to try that). My husband got their cowboy steak and got the scallops. Both dishes were absolutely amazing!! I paired my scallops with their buttery Chardonnay, and it was hands down the best pairing I ever had! It. Was. Delicious! I HIGHLY recommend getting that pairing if you are a seafood person! We were able to enjoy a nice glass of wine after dinner as well in the lobby and enjoyed the fireplace! Definitely go!!
Harrimans was a wonderful experience. The food was fabulous, (you have to try the cornbread: unbelievable). The service was great....love that our waiter, Terry, had a wicked sense of humor. We also love his wife, Ana, as well. Both great servers and easy to be around. The atmosphere was so lovely and warm (lots of fireplaces). Overall a really great experience. We will be back.

It was an ok dining experience for the money it wasn’t the best quality fish and chicken dinner. They are known for steak and we didn’t order steak so maybe that’s where we could have made a better choice.
Overall a great eating experience and would return. However for what is a five star restaurant, there are several details that I expected that I was let down on. For instance, my girlfriend and I shared a salad as an appetizer. With this in mind, I would have expected the kitchen to split the salad onto two plates so that we could each have our own without having to serve ourselves. This is a small detail, but it makes a significant impression when looking at the overall dining experience.
It’s all about customer service. Sally and the rest of the crew did a great job. The food was not ethereal but satisfying and delicious.

Staying at the resort without a lot of options for dinner. The meal was lack luster. It’s considered fine dining, but it’s contemporary American. The charcuterie board was AMAZING! Honey butter - delicious! Scallops perfectly done and tasted like butter. The vegetable sides fell short, arrived cold, not a lot of flavor - even the veggie couldn’t stand out.

The wait for our meals was quite long. Our waiter notified us that he needed to leave unexpectedly, and that another waiter would take over. My fish was so overcooked it was inedible. This is the first time I have ever requested a new meal. By the time a replacement meal was provided, my family had been in the restaurant for well over two hours and were already on dessert. I had only bread and cake for dinner. After leaving the restaurant, my 2 daughters told me their meals were overcooked as well, but they were hungry enough to prefer eating rather than wait for new meals. The staff apologized as we left, and took two main courses off our bill. Not enough to encourage us to return. A big disappointment, especially considering that we had an outstanding meal just a few months earlier.

As I indicate with the ratings, the dining experience was very nice. However, being my wife’s and my 50th wedding anniversary, it would have been nice for the restaurant to show their appreciation to our special occasion with a complimentary drink or dessert. Fine restaurants do that and it was a bit disappointing to have the restaurant miss on that detail.
Greetings. I thought I was bringing my family to a five star restaurant for Christmas Eve breakfast/brunch. After we were seated we did not receive service until we flagged someone down to request coffee. Noone came to ask if we needed refills or take our breakfast order until we flagged someone down. It was a surprise and tremendous disappointment to my family to be visiting Salamander resort for the first time and to have this experience was a huge let down. I am wondering if lack of service or attention was perhaps due to not being a guest staying at the hotel. Hard to tell but either way I have had friendlier service and more attention at ihop! What a let down...
