Harvey's - Saratoga
Last 2 times there they were out of the Cajun turkey burger. Asked for crispy wings but they came out regular
Post comedy show dinner, bonus they’re open late. Meatloaf was good, bbq sauce on top overpowered most of the other flavors. Needed to be thinned with apple cider vinegar.
Chicken sandwich, amazingly toasted bread but filled a bit on the skimpy side and again bbq sauce was overpowering.
Nice family dinner. Pretzels with beer cheese sauce was great. Sheppard's Pie was excellent. Service was very attentive.
Great food & excellent waiter!!!
Good food nice atmosphere
Dined at Harvey's the Sunday evening of Travers weekend. We were seated on the rooftop which was full . The rest of the restaurant had few patrons. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. There was live music which was not obtrusive. The food arrived quickly and the service was excellent.
Great service, good and music.
Not your true Irish Pub Restaurant no bangers and mash and no corn beef and cabbage.
Food was great. Inside was a bit noisy for what we wanted.... but understand it is more a pub/bar. However the server got us a seat outside and that was fabulous. I would go back
Very good food and fun place. The beef stew was delicious!
We decided to pick Harvey's because they had GF bread! I was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease and I was afraid a reuben was out of the question but i was wrong :) my BF said his meal was delicious and his only complaint was the drinks were small.
Attentive service in sports bar setting, comfort food and more.
Always enjoyable at Harvey’s
Went to Harvey’s for dinner with family on New Years Eve & wasn’t sure what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised, great festive atmosphere, service and food!
Pork belly tacos were not the best...steak tacos however were very good. Waiter was just ok....bartender Matt upstairs was very nice and served up excellent drinks.
Enjoyed a delicious meal with friends!
Bonus that Santa was there too 🎄🎅🏻
I've been to Harvey's a few times now. Always enjoyed the ambiance - fun but not too loud to be able to talk with your dinner companions. It is a pub and I would suggest sticking to Pub fare when ordering. I have had the meatloaf and fish and chips in the past and they were outstanding. This time two of us tried the steak with shrimp and both were not good. the strip steaks were exceedingly fatty yet overcooked and dry (as was the shrimp) - we simply didn't eat them. The salad and mashed potatoes were delicious and other companions stuck to the Irish Pub fare and were very pleased.
That being said - I would definitely go again and refer it out to friends. It's got a great ambiance and rally nice staff. Good Location as well.
Food was good and staff super friendly. I made a reservation and was seated like a foot from the bar which was a little disappointing cause it was a date.
This was our second time at Harvey's and both time we ate on the roof top which is very nice. Our first trip got 5 stars, all of us loving our meals. However this time the service was extremely slow. We are never really in a hurry so if we noticed it that's not good. Additionally one person had salmon which was very dry, and I had a steak & fries dish that was not hot when it came out and was cooked a little more than I wanted it. One drink had to be returned as it was mixed with water & not tonic. In the defense of our server, she was pleasant & they have a couple of flights of stairs to climb to get to the roof top. We didn't complain about any of this, and still gave a very good tip. No thank you was given. I said I'd recommend hoping we just hit a bad night at Harveys!
Service was great. Food and drinks excellent. Comfortable place.
Good food. Party atmosphere. A great place to hit when on vacation.
Great food, great service, and a great time. Highly recommended.
Very nice after track dinner on a Thursday night. Was not crowded and we had outdoor seating. Food was very good. Would recommend.
Our waitress was very nice and the service was good but the food was very mediocre. The wings were just okay, as was the burger and the salads. My son had the salmon which he liked but the veggies that came with it were overcooked and not very good. The mashed potatoes that I got with my burger were not very good either and it's kinda hard to mess up mashed potatoes. Overall disappointing meal.
Reserved a table for 8 - staff was very amenable/attentive/accommodating & super friendly. The menu was interesting - food was delicious. We were a mixed group of adults and kids age 9-20 - all were well satisfied and pleased with the meal/experience.
I was very disppointed in the quality of my meal. Also, service was just ok. I ordered a drink and never received it. Atmosphere was ok. More of a bar instead of a restaurant.
The only problem with this restaurant was we had a high top table, chairs with no backs and too close to other tables. This after making a reservation 2 weeks in advance? Staff was accommodating and gave us different chairs. 10 min later a couple walked in and got a better table.
We were trying someplace new in Saratoga and decided to go for some good pub fare. We could not have made a better decision for our Sunday night. Turns out Sundays and Mondays are wing nights and wings are a dollar a piece. My God, if you are what you eat then I am a giant garlic Parmesan chicken wing. They were the best wings I’ve ever had in my life. They were smoked, crispy, and so flavorful. The garlic parm sauce was just the right combination of cheese, garlic, butter, and salt. Coupled this with their beer selection it was one of the best meals we have had in weeks.
Aside from the food and drafts, we also had some craft cocktails per the suggestion of the bartender that night. Crafted with elegance and flair (they lit an orange peal to make a flame when they served it) everything was made perfectly. To make this the best spot they also had a DART BOARD. Amazing date night. It will be a new regular spot for us.
A little disappointed that they had taken Bangers and Mash off the menu. But the Shepherd's Pie was great. This is a moderately-priced restaurant with good, quality food and service.
Were expecting a true Irish Pub not a sports bar. Food ok but service slow.
Room was cold so had to change tables.
Made reservation ahead of time. We are elderly. Would not give us table with comfortable seats. Had to have high ones yet others were empty. Steak ordered medium rare. It arrived almost well done. Very very noisy. Waitress was very good.
My boyfriend and I have date night once in awhile, and I looked up best restaurants in Saratoga & Harvey’s was one of them!!! First time coming here, the place was awesome, the building is beautiful inside & out. I wished we’re on the outside paddock but sitting inside was great. The food was absolutely amazing, my boyfriend & I will definitely come back!
This is my second time here and once again- great food and great ambiance! I can’t wait to go back again!
Horrible. No, and I mean no service for the entire World Cup game... 2 hours. No table put aside for my reservation and they allowed anyone to just take tables. Will never go back!
Always great! Food is cooked to order and executed perfectly. The bar is run right.....fast, accurate and wide selection of beer and liquor. A solid night out in a cool, laid back environment. Go and enjoy it..... it's great
Fantastic food....enjoyed speaking with the owners!!!!
Great! Loved the food and great service! Muscles are a must have
The food was mediocre bordering on gross. The avocado looked and tasted like it came out of a can. Don’t recommend
We made reservations for 1130AM Sunday, along with multiple other people using open table and when we arrived it wasn't even opened. We called 3x finally someone answered. We walked in and the waitress was just annoyed or something; it made us feel uncomfortable so we left.
