This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery.
The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.
Excellent food and service. Would highly recommend
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience at Harwood Arms. I am happy to say that it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The staff was lovely, the ambiance was great, and it was fantastic to see the chef barbecuing up on the roof. I loved that we could enjoy such incredible, quality food in a more relaxed environment. I will visit this pub every time I’m in London. Thank you!!!
We had the Sunday roast which is usually excellent. This time everything was very good except the meat was quite grisly.. couldn’t chew multiple pieces. Unfortunately not worth £32 with that type of meat quality. Service and everything else excellent as usual.
Love this place. A fantastic blend of casual and fine dining
Excellent food in a casual neighbourhood setting. Lovely service. Not cheap but absolutely worth it.
Haven’t visited the Harwood for several years and delighted that standards haven’t slipped at all . A delicious Sunday lunch was also enjoyed by our grand children, 8 , 5 and 3 years . Even the accompanying bread and butter was scrumptious and the legendary scotch eggs better than ever . Keep it up
We were referred here by a chef friend of ours and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing and the service matched. Everyone was super polite and helpful.
Very high quality food that is nicely prepared but still considerably over priced.
Excellent meal and happy to allow babies to come with so no excuse for young families. Can’t wait to go again
We really wanted to love this restaurant. My husband recently moved from the U.S. to London and I wanted to show him an example of a wonderful roast lunch in a pub. There were young kids screaming throughout our lunch. It’s not the place you want to spend £50++ per head to have your conversation interrupted by bratty children. The service was appalling, we were seated for 45 minutes before we got our scotch egg which was a snack, not even the starter. The main course (sirloin) was great although a little bland. The pudding (malt chocolate ice cream) was nothing special. Would definitely not rush back. Ever.
Always wonderful and our go-to destination for a treat or to celebrate a special event. Added bonus is that Sambrook's Wandle is on the bar - my husband was extra happy about that!
We will definitely go to the Harwood Arms again. We went for my son's birthday and ate delicious food served by friendly but relaxed and efficient staff.
One of the best restaurants in the whole of London! Every meal I’ve had here is 4 star!
It's a bit out of the way but good ingredients and great cooking. Nice atmosphere of a local pub to catch up over some excellent food.
Food was exceptional
Great service very friendly and informative about the menu
Great value for money
Classy food in a relaxed ambience. Consistently good cooking over the years!
A good restaurant. A bit disappointed as I expected a higher food quality for that price (300£+ for 4 people), but a good night overall.
Very noisy at first but as other guests left became easier to communicate without shouting.
Service very good but prices above what i have become used to elsewhere.
Was pretty disappointed by the food which is usually very good. I don't know if the chef has changed but the texture and flavours of my dishes were not there. I love this place but for once, I did not think that it was very good and did not reflect the price unfortunately
Delicious food. A little bit expensive, but certainly was worthy.
Perfect marriage of fine dining and relaxed atmosphere of a pub. Service, food, ambience - this place ticks all the boxes. Definitely coming back when next time in London!
Just a lovely meal out on a Thursday evening with my husband
Great menu and wine list ensured delicious meal. The tomato and crayfish soup special was awesome!
Harwood Arms is so not a gastropub. It just serves haute cuisine in a pub setting. Using the freshest of produce, the flavors of the dishes and the texture of their ingredients are wonderfully balanced. Slightly out of the tourist haunts, this tucked-away establishment is a hidden gem.
Very inspiring starter, main and very good wine list. It was well served and atmosphere is pleasant. Compare with those aspects, the dessert menu is not exciting. It is a pity.
Lovely local gastropub specialising in locally sourced venison and seasonal produce. Pleasant service. Good wine list. Great gin cocktails.
Nice local fine dining experience. Enjoyable and relaxing.
Fantastic food and a great menu of British styled, high end Gastro pub food. The staff are attentive, amiable and very helpful. No complaints.
Excellent food (particularly starters), setting and service. A very good value for money.
We loved this place! The food was wonderful and out waiter was very attentive!
Food and ambience great. Service so and so. Sunday Roast would be quite uncomplicaded especially with a lot of straff.
Absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful anniversary. Make sure to get the scotch eggs
Good was delicious, wish there had been
Came to Harwood Arms as our final dinner in London before heading back to Oz. Wanted a nice traditional British pub feed and we were not disappointed. We got to try our first Scotch egg which was delicious. The mains, desert and service not to mention the wine were just as good. Went home with full belly’s and big smiles.
Excellent food and service, special mention to Tom who looked after us throughout! May be the best Sunday roast in London...
The lamb roast was hands down the best roast I've had in London. My only complaint was the frequency with which the wait staff refilled our water pitcher. Otherwise amazing.
the food was great and the bread outstanding. The service was perfect
Great food and service. Cannot fault it whatsoever.
Pleasant meal & service. Very quiet on a weekday lunchtime.
Meat, meat, and more meat. The most high-end Sunday Roast in London, this gastronomic dream lunch did NOT disappoint. Highly recommended.
