This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery.
The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.
A pre match meal with a good friend made perfect by great venue, food and service. Another lovely experience. Euan
Superb Sunday roast with excellent service and a top notch wine list.
Wonderful experience in this Michelin starred pub, esquisite food but always in a pub ambience which is what makes it original. Good wine list.
Exceptional customer service. Everyone was so friendly and attentive! Truly felt like fine dining with a laid back country feel
Very good place for dinner. Felt like the decore was lacking character and chairs were not the most comfortable. Service was friendly and food was tasty and fairly priced.
Amazing British food. Atmosphere was great and relaxed. We were a bit worried about eating in a star restaurant as tourists without any fancy dress, but luckily the restaurant was very relaxed.
Food was absolutely top notch, and because we visited on a Sunday we got to enjoy the Sunday roast special. Portions were exactly right, flavours were well balanced and honest. Not too much faff, just perfectly prepared food.
Service was great, very caring and attending without being overbearing. The staff made us feel welcome and at home. There was also no rush to get your table back for another guest as in some other restaurants.
Excellent :-) Outstanding Sunday roast. Wonderful service.
Excellent food and service! The only issue we had was that there wasn't enough between our table and the table behind for people to pass
The Harwood Arms is such a special place! My husband and I love to eat here and only wish we could do it more often! Menu, service & environment are all wonderful!
Thank you so much for a great evening- the food was excellent and the staff were so lovely.
We were a little disappointed. Perhaps we expected too much.
I had the chicken liver mousse to start which would have benefited from more chicken liver! My partner had the sweetbreads which were good. For main I had the monkfish. I only occasionally season my food but even I thought the dish was bland and it needed more of the watercress "sauce". My partner had the Tamworth Pork. The pork was nice but he was only given one slice. We are not big eaters but one slice of meat is mean. Were also expecting a slice of black pudding with it but there were just a few crumbs of black pudding sprinkled on the top. We had the marmalade sandwich for dessert which was nice, the rhubarb and sherry trifle lacked any sherry, the rhubarb jelly was nice but as a whole the dessert was insipid.
good place to celebrate a birthday. Nice service. Amazing food.
Great service, great food. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
We come here reasonably regularly and always enjoy our visits. The menu is short but interesting (this time I had lamb sweetbreads and fallow deer, for example). The staff were brilliant; friendly, attentive without being annoyingly so, and swift to see if we needed something. Highly recommended.
Faultless as usual
Service was out of this world. Very attentive and I loved the chilled out vibe of the place. The food was incredible from the whipped chicken livers to the fallow deer. Definitely going back!
I had a great meal and evening. Exceptional service in terms of knowledge combined with a friendly welcoming manner. Wonderful food with one of the best desserts I’ve eaten in a long time. Our table next to the door felt slightly cut of from the restaurant but others would really enjoy the privacy so a personal preference. I look forward to going back.
Fantastic prix fixe menu (if you like meat) and wine list.
Excellent food, faultless service.
Birthday dinner, great service
Truly a fantastic experience!
Interesting menu, excellent game that was perfectly served staff members.
Lovely gastropub in Fulham ... Delicious food and amazing service ... Highly recommended ...
My husband and I came for Sunday roast (we both had the roast sirloin). Best Sunday roast in London, in our opinion. Everything was cooked perfectly and the Yorkshire puddings were beyond anything we could have expected. Excellent wine list as well.
I would strongly recommend Harwood Arms. Interior is quite simple and calm nothing exaggerated. The food was extremely good. We loved the bread especially! I can only say if they have more vegetarian options as starters, can be better. The wine list is quite impressive. We were very pleased with the service as well, very helpful and polite. For sure we will be going back!
Great food and service
Eaten here several times now and are yet to be disappointed. Food and staff are great.
Excellent food and wine very good based on selecting lower cost bottles. Good ambience and very good attentive service from Scott and the team. First return after a number of years and everyone in the party delighted with choice.
It is our must. We love it and we will visit again.
Nice place, great food, great service, good value. Would recommend it and am sure that I will be back. Only minus was that it was very noisy on the night, whether it is the room or it was the other guests is uncertain.
Everything about the Harwood Arms was fantastic. Service was impeccable and the food was delicious and was of a very high standard. Absolutely loved the experience and recommend it to everyone who likes food and wants a relatively peaceful experience. Brilliant!!
As always - excellent seasonal menu. Excellent service. And the scotch-egg is outrageous.
I’ve never been disappointed by a visit to the Harwood Arms. We had the cod and the pork jowl- the pork was excellent, but the cod was superb, with the fish balanced beautifully with its accompaniments. At the next door table, the fallow venison and the rump of beef were going down to smiles and appreciative noises. Service was attentive but not intrusive, the ambience very friendly and relaxed.
Really enjoyed this restaurant- we went for a birthday and it was a great treat
Main meal was good but the dessert was average, overall the meal did not meet expectations based on price. Staff were lovely
Amazing birthday lunch!
It was the best pub I have ever gone!
The food and drink both was brilliant!
Lovely food. Fantastic service. They made a dessert specially for me after it had been taken off the menu.
Our visit was to celebrate a birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Food, service and ambiance all good and easy to get to from Fulham Broadway tube
Excellent food and great staff! It was also our anniversary and we had just got engaged and they very sweetly gave us some bubbles, a card and an extra pudding!
Best roast lamb I've ever tasted. The lamb sweetbreads as a starter in panko breadcrumbs were also delicious. Enjoyed every element of the starter and dessert too. Great wine selection. Recommend the English sparkling, Gusbourne. Hands down as good as any champagne.
