This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery.
The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.
We had fabulous dinner at the Harwood arms for our anniversary. We felt really special during the evening and the service was outstanding. Food was superb, each dish better than the other.
Food was nice and the atmosphere very good. Customers obviously like the Harwood Arms as it was quite busy for a Wednesday evening.
My only complaint was the uneven floor, which meant the table was wobbly and staff consistently had to return to our table to replace the cork wedge otherwise the drinks or plates were likely to fall over.
I took my other half for a birthday dinner. We had drinks while we waited. Our table was set with a birthday card for him and after 2 fabulous courses (the best lamb roast I’ve ever had) he was presented with a beautifully decorated birthday chocolate dessert. We’re already planning our next date to go back!!
Amazing food and great service
The food is amazing! Best roast ever...Can’t wait to go back. Will be booking again shortly
Everything about our experience at the Harwood Arms was fantastic, from great service to outstanding food. This was definitely a meal to remember, thanks to everyone at the Harwood for making it so special.
The food was amazing and the service was good. It was just a shame that there was a huge group there who were so loud that we had to almost shout at each other over lunch which was far from ideal. I left with a headache. They should sit groups of that size (approx 15ppl) in a separate room or section it off
My first really good meal in London. Everything was good. A good place.
Was a bit too much light for my romantic evening but the food (the most important bit) and the service was amazing
Great service and atmosphere. Food was slight salty but was delicious. Would love to be back again
Fijne relaxte setting, eten en wijnselectie waren goed. Ietwat prijzig qua eten vs kwaliteit maar overall erg positief over Harwood Arms!
Great game-centred menu, lovely pub atmosphere, friendly staff
Food was lovely and service outstanding (100% recommend!) but the atmosphere was ruined by a very, very loud and quite drunk table. A few other groups kept looking over at them, as well as the staff and folks behind the pass at the bar, but no one said anything. It would be great if the staff had asked them to keep it down a little bit.
Again, I would definitely recommend going to the Harwood Arms for lunch. Lovely staff, great food, and superb value for money for a Michelin started restaurant!
Vegetarian menu is a very good idea and nice to see it prices differently to meat/seafood options
Food was excellent
We travelled from Ireland and booked before our trip. We were staying close so it was great to find such a brilliant restaurant tucked away in a side street. The ambiance was great and the staff so friendly. And of course the food. Possibly the best food we have eaten.
Was wonderful but beware of the parking restrictions
My wife had her car towed and we even asked the waiter if we could park outside. He said not without a permit and recommended that she park on a single yellow down the road. When we came back to the car it had been towed and cost £265 to get it back..!!!! You can only park on a single yellow here after 10pm..!!!
While the food was reasonably good the service was slow and I had to call the waitress on a number of occasions myself. It also took an inordinately long time for our main course to arrive and when it did it looked like it was sitting on the pass for a long time. Not the experience I was hoping for. Also the waiter on that night had no charm whatsoever and needs to understand that a smile goes a long way. I would not recommend this restaurant or return.
Had the Sunday roast and was not disappointed. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent, then even called us a cab!
Fantastic food, drink and service but in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. I can't fault it.
Always consistently good food! Would recommend and definitely go back
Fantastic place that I already visited a couple of times in the past.
Great sunday roast, great athmosphere and and very friendly stuff.
Great food, Excellent wine list.
Cold room - could do with some soft furnishings or turn on the heating...
Sea trout dry and more like smoked haddock very strange
Very loud but then it usually is
Sterling service, sublime food, and a charmingly casual ambiance.
Great food great service great wine relaxed country pub atmosphere. Gem of a place
One of our favourite neighbourhood restaurants. Delicious food
Excellent food and service, the atmosphere was good to. I can't wait to go back again.
Loved it, was there before, would go again. The food is amazing, it's a bit pricey but it's worth it once in a while.
10/10 gastropub experience. Food and wine were faultless. I had the 3 course special - irish bread with Guinness butter to start, creamy garlic soup with hake as entree, confit duck as my main and finished with lemon curd doughnuts with Earl grey cream. Delicious!! Everything was faultless. Can't wait to be back. Very reasonably priced for a Michelin star pub. What a gem.
Best pub experience
The food and wine list is just amazing
Will definitely go back to try the rest of the menu
We Went to Fulham for a Family Football weekend. Pre-booked a dinner at Harwood Arms and it was a great Way to end our night. good service and fantastik food made our last night extra ordinarie! Quiet extenspenive but well worth it becouse of the High quality!
Wonderful food with matching service. We visited Harwood Arms on the way to Heathrow and planned for two hours to eat before having to catch our flight to the US. After some terrible taxi issues, we ended up arriving 65 minutes late with luggage. The host graciously stored our luggage and sped us to the table where he immediately took our order. The food came out quickly and our wonderful server even agreed to bring our dessert dishes while we were still eating the main course. Everything was delicious and we’ll definitely go back next time we’re in London.
Great lunch with friends. Food was good and reasonable value
This place is the bomb. It's a Michelin starred experience masquerading as a pub. And prices reasonable.Highly recommended.
The food was great and unlike anything we’ve tried before. The atmosphere in the pub was buzzing and warm. The only downside of our experience was the service as we felt forgotten by our server for a good part of the night. The service should be part of the overall Michelin star experience so we hope we feel that next time!
Most enjoyable evening at an establishment where the food and the service was outstanding.
Easy to find being only a 10 min walk from Fulham Broadway Tube
The menu and the prices were reasonable for what was on offer with a particularly extensive wine list ranging from £40 to 4 figure sums.
Good value overall as long as you dont get carried away by the wine list
It was lovely and the food is absolutely delicious. However, it was a bit too noisy
We used to love this place. The food was disappointing this time. My chicken liver parfait was served on cookies that were far too sweet. I had the jowl of pork and it was poor. The rest of our group had better food than me but portions were small and I was not very happy leaving.
Simple set-up in the British style, lovely staff with personalised service and delicious food. We had a deer shoulder wrapped in bacon and honey mustard sauce, the chef’s special and it was definitely worth it.
This restaurant is great value considering the quality of the food and service, but the decoration and set-up is more regular.
