This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery.
The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.
with white onion and marjoram
Harwood Arms Venison Scotch Egg
with cauliflower and smoked kipper
Fantastic experience, the food was brilliant and we really enjoyed our Sunday Roast. Will definitely be returning!
Excellent food and wine in an understated but relaxing setting.
Would definitely return.
Really delish food!
Outstanding as always! I never miss a chance for dinner at Harwood Arms when I’m in London.
Visited recently on Sunday evening and enjoyed a superb Sunday roast. Service was excellent. Can be a little noisy due to all the hard wood but cannot fault the experience. Will definitely be back.
Every time we visit London, we go to Harwood Arms, because we have always had such excellent experiences… Unfortunately this time it was different. The venison roast was overcooked and dry. But the service remains wonderful, and we hope next time the food will improve again.
Very poor food quality and portions (I opted for veggie) multiple times the wine was full of sediment. Messy bar area & it felt like the staff were there for their own party vs serving those eating. Lots of smirking when we complained about the wine. I felt very uncomfortable. I haven’t had such a bad experience in a restaurant for a very long time. Astounded that it has a Michelin star. They also got the bill wrong and overcharged us by about 35%. Only one positive was 1 staff member who served us & was lovely - dark hair & Asian descent woman. She’s the 1 shining light.
Food unbelievably good. Service was very attentive without being intrusive. Only slight negative thought was that the wine prices were possibly high for the quality of wine offered.
Very nice gastro pub menu and excellent real ale. Friendly unpretentious atmosphere
A fantastic afternoon out at a very unassuming pub. The ambience of a traditional London pub combined with fine food.
This was reinforced with attentive waiting staff who were informal but very informative to add to the experience.
The food was good but not amazing. I describe this as very good pub food but not for the price. We knew the price before booking but thought it would be a better experience. A loud busy pub with good service.
Superb traditional game style menu - plenty of it, fantastic wine list, well run and good customer ambience.
Food poor, service rushed and very expensive
Excellent service, food and wine list. Creative but not OTT. The bread starter is absolutely delicious!!!
Excellent food and friendly, efficient service.
We both had the monkfish which was outstanding.
Will definitely be back.
An unspectacular place in an nothing location with astonishing food. No wonder it wins awards and is difficult to get a table. What more do you need to know?
Simply delicious food, really well cooked that is not everyday choices with amazing sauces - so that it is a great foodie experience
The best Sunday roast in London! Superb service.
This is such a great spot with amazing roasts. We had the lamb which was epic !
It was a fantastic evening meal where we were served impeccably by the waiters, always tentative, and of course the food was fantastic - the 3 course meal is well portioned and the execution of the flavours for each meal was thought out and balanced using seasonal British produce. I would definitely recommend anyone to book a table at The Harwood Arms for any occasion because the ambience is relaxed and lends its self for any occasion, and it’s not trying to be pretentious; it’s just great food that’s beautifully presented in a cosy neighbourhood pub. I look forward to visiting in the spring to see what seasonal meals are on the menu to taste.
Brilliant and impeccable as always. We return to HA every time we are in London, and will continue returning. One observation though, is that the menu doesn’t change that much, and some of the dishes have been on for years. As a relatively frequent guest, it would be more interesting and exciting, if there are more frequent alterations to the menu, not only due to seasonality.
Amazing food and atmosphere. Highly recommend. Early booking essential
It was very outstanding experience. With nice food and atmosphere
Really good meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere. I will definetly be coming back again.
Wonderful food and wine in a relaxed atmosphere. We enjoy coming back soon for more of it.
Lovely restaurant with great food and pub-feeling. What's not to like :-)
Really lovely food, very enjoyable and the service was very good, happy to go back again.
Have visited many times and are never disappointed. Food, wine and service all excellent.
This was our first time at the restaurant. We thought the menu was excellent, There was a good choice and we could have happily eaten anything on the menu. The food was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service, too, was exemplary. An excellent experience and we look forward to returning.
I was here to celebrate my birthday with my boyfriend and had high expectations as I've read so many great reviews about this place. We had two very attentive waiters although one gave us incorrect information. the menu only had set prices for 3 courses and I only wanted one course so I asked the price for a main. any dish by itself would be £12.50. I was surprised as this is an extremely good price for a main so I asked him to check and then he came and confirm this was true. We ordered and enjoyed the food - it was delicious, especially the cod. But when we got the bill it was much more than what we were told which was very disappointing. My boyfriend paid as he didn't wanted to complain on my birthday but then I found out about this and thought it wasn't a great experience.
It's a nice pub with AMAZING food... but not much around and it doesn't have much ambiance or much going on. Don't think I would recommend or go back.
Elevated food, worthy of high praise. Beautifully presented. Dessert, a rhubarb trifle, was unlike any trifle I've ever eaten. Food was traditional but very creative.
We had a great anniversary celebrate there, we are definitely going back more regularly
Wonderful lunch - delicious menu of the day - great value and service was perfect! Lives up to its awards!
A pre match meal with a good friend made perfect by great venue, food and service. Another lovely experience. Euan
Never disappoints. This place serves great food at a sensible price with service that is always on point.
Superb Sunday roast with excellent service and a top notch wine list.
Wonderful experience in this Michelin starred pub, esquisite food but always in a pub ambience which is what makes it original. Good wine list.
Exceptional customer service. Everyone was so friendly and attentive! Truly felt like fine dining with a laid back country feel
Fantastic food and service. I went back again a few days later to have the dessert (chocolate malt cake) again!
Very good place for dinner. Felt like the decore was lacking character and chairs were not the most comfortable. Service was friendly and food was tasty and fairly priced.
