The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment.
This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery.
The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.

Very inspiring starter, main and very good wine list. It was well served and atmosphere is pleasant. Compare with those aspects, the dessert menu is not exciting. It is a pity.

Came to Harwood Arms as our final dinner in London before heading back to Oz. Wanted a nice traditional British pub feed and we were not disappointed. We got to try our first Scotch egg which was delicious. The mains, desert and service not to mention the wine were just as good. Went home with full belly’s and big smiles.

The lamb roast was hands down the best roast I've had in London. My only complaint was the frequency with which the wait staff refilled our water pitcher. Otherwise amazing.

Delicious food and great service - only negative was the very loud cutlery polishing going on at the bar. I know it’s a relaxed pub but felt like I was eating in the kitchen it was so loud and banging. I asked them to be quieter but didn’t get any better.

The mint sauce is a perfect match with lamb belly! Though our Chinese stomachs didn’t that adapt to the deer meat, we still admire the chef cooked it tender and juicy. For the desert, we’ve ordered raspberry, strawberry and lemon trifle. The taste was an appropriate mixture of both sweet and sour which impressed me. Cuz I do not fond of a dessert tasted to sweet.
Besides, we appreciated the special for plate for anniversary. The staff were all friendly as well.

Gastro pub with amazing food, beer, wine, ambiance and service. The staff were so attentive to my daughter's allergies plus the chef pretty much agreed to accommodate 85% of the menu to suit her egg, dairy and nut allergies.

Thank you

My wife and I went to Harwood Arms for dinner during our trip to London, and absolutely loved it. The restaurant is charming and the food was all prepared incredibly well. We split the duck special for two which was amazing. My wife also got the chicken liver mousse which we both loved. We’d definitely return if we had the chance!

I think I would recommend to a friend but I was expecting a better offering from what I was expecting from reviews.

The menu was simple and very well put together

On approach to pub it looked extremely tatty flacks paint and a bit unloved

The staff were very nice but a bit slow and not very attentive

The Guiness soda bread was delicious and mains very good but the trifle was sadly bland

What a lovely evening at the Harwood Arms! We were a little bit late for our table but no problems; we were seated straightaway and offered drinks. Recommendations on wine and food were both great, and well-matched. Very much enjoyed the meal I had: bone marrow (delicious, though I prefer mine a bit hotter/meltier if I had a criticism), Sutton Hoo chicken (such a joy when chicken is properly cooked with an array of appropriate sides), and then the truly zingy lemon curd doughnuts (would order again!). From time to time it felt extremely loud and it was difficult for the three of us to have a conversation, but other than that it was really a great evening.
