This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery.
The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.
I have been to Harwood Arms a few times. This time was as good as ever.
Very mediocre and rather overpriced - especially the wine list.
Went for a birthday meal there - the staff were lovely, went above and beyond! And the food was amazing.
Very good indeed - one of the best pub lunches I have ever had.
delicious food, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Corkage a little pricey for a pub (£25 per bottle) but all in all a great place to eat.
The Harwood Arms is a great pub with amazing food and service. The whole table was really impressed by the standard of food, from the veggies, to the pescatarians, to the the meat eaters. And with the lunch menu priced at £49.50 for three courses it felt like great value too. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. When a large group of people came in and stood at the bar which was right behind our table the staff kindly helped disperse them to other areas keeping the atmosphere buzzy but not crowded.
My wife and I had a really enjoyable first visit to the Harwood Arms, it was let down only by a very tough bit of venison, a real shame as the rest of the food was outstanding. We were not charged for my wife's main, this was offered, we didn't need to ask or make a point of this.
The staff were friendly and efficient, service was spot-on. The restaurant was a little cool, it was a cold November day, a couple of degrees colder and it would have been a problem but sat next to a cold radiator makes it feel worse than maybe it was.
Overall, it ticked many boxes and we will return without hesitation as we know things can go wrong, it was just a shame that Bambi let them down.
Great food, good variety on offer. Front of house need more polish, seem a little disorganised.
We found that Harwood Arms quickly became a favorite of ours as the warm and comfortable atmosphere was far exceeded by the outstanding food. Service was impeccable and made the evening a pleasure. We will definitely make it an annual stop on our trip.
Delicious menu with attentive but friendly service, in a relaxed setting. Strongly recommend!
Always superb! Don’t really want to recommend it as it’s difficult to get the table sometimes haha, too popular!
Well done Sally and the team!
In London celebrating one year anniversary with my wife. Couldn’t miss the only Michelin starred Gastropub in the city...well worth the tube ride! Staff was gracious and generous from the moment we walked in. We probably ordered too much food but everything looked so amazing we didn’t want to miss a bite of anything! Harwood Arms did not disappoint. Every sip (breathtaking field mushroom soup) and bite were amazing. Don’t miss the whipped chicken liver starter and braised pork jowl main!
Excellent service and really good food. We had the Sunday roast which came on a lovely platter.
Best Sunday Lunch I've ever had...sorry mum. We will be coming back soon!
I have been here a couple of times, and it’s always been good. Great food standard, good specials, a nice wine list.
I just miss a nice selection of craft beers on tap, it would be a wonderful addition. And I don’t understand why a place specialized on meat has such terrible knives.
The set lunch menu ist probably the best in London.
The basis we say this is we are coming to
London quite often (son lives here) and we are touring all the best restaurants having a set lunch menue.
Good food and service in a gastropub atmosphere, but at £64/head with beer not wine, overpriced.
Excellent service and food that other gastro pubs could only aspire to
Really good but not exceptional. Very expensive. Too expensive for what it is.
We had a wonderful meal the staff and food were wonderful
Delicious lunch, tasted fantastic & was well delivered. the staff are great, very polite & well trained & quite knowledgeable.
Lovely food and great service. The wine list is quite on the expensive side (we payed £50 for a wine that can be purchased outside for £16). But overall a great experience. We will return
Although deer and crab starters were fine, partridge for main was rather disappointing, being certainly too dry. Staff lost interest in delivering good quality service after 10pm. Not quite Michelin star level and experience not worth the money.
Definitely need to bring your wallet (but to be fair there is a Michelin star here) , but worth every penny. Service was excellent, very relaxed and cooking was perfection. Can't wait until next time.
Friendly staff, fabulous food and an interesting wine list.
Fantastic!! What a delicious and unique meal. Too bad we don’t live in London.
Fabulous night .
Absolutely loved it here. My Dad found a bitter he actually liked !
We had the lunch menu and it was outstanding. Service great. Wine list - also great. You must have a Scotch Egg. Can't wait to come back
Excellent food. Staff struggled with numbers. Did trip over a dog going to the toilet.
Exceptional value. Generous portion. Quiet location. Awesome!
We had a very nice evening. The food and drinks were delicious. Next time we are in London we will definitely be back. Only recommended. Outstanding cuisine in a casual environment.
Great service, nice setting, excellent food. In addition a good selection of wines. Spent a wonderful evening there. Only minus: a bit too noisy place.
It was my 6 visit since 2010, and of course things changes :-)
The food is still super, but I feel that the old charm/spirit, f.ex. the cozy area with couches and the old bar has gone.
And if the customer have order before dinner drink, please wait with the starters or ask the customer, if they want to wait for it!
Wow what a night! From the moment we stepped in the door to the moment we left we were looked after the service and thoughtfulness was over and above! We arrived early and had a glass of wine at the bar until our reservation time rolled around.
On my way back from the loo I bumped into the chef sally who was very kind and listened politely to me carry on about how excited we were to be dining and that it was my sisters birthday, how she was over from Oz to surprise me for my birthday a few days before ( I over shared massively but I was genuinely happy to be there and very excited to share this experience with my sister I had not seen for 2 years) as I said Sally was very kind
When we arrived at our table there was a hand written card to my sister wishing her a happy birthday and from then On we received nothing but the very best in service and food, the food was to die for well cooked, tasty, seasonal and local! What more could you ask for... my sister was gluten free and wasn’t at all disappointed with her selection ( which is a rarity)
After dessert was delivered was were also presented with not 1 but 2 bonus birthday plates with yummy chocolate parfait ( sally had remembered both our birthdays how lovely)
The value for money in this venue is phenomenal 3 courses of absolutely delicious, well presented, just the right amount of food!! For under £50...
Book now or you will be disappointed!!!
Thank you team Harwood arm you were amazing.
Best restaurant in London
The food is totally superb adventurous without being scary!
Delicious homemade Guinness soda bread
Friendly staff in relaxed atmosphere
Couldn’t recommend more highly
I will be back
Great food. Good wine list. Friendly staff. We’ll definitely be back
Locale eccellente, atmosfera incantevole. Consigliato!
Really nice food, worth travelling west for. Different and fresh menu with lots of seasonal options.
