A great evening with friends with wonderful steaks and good wine. The staff were helpful and we did not feel rushed. Despite its size the restaurant feels intimate.
My first visit to any Hawksmoor restaurant. I decided on Hawksmoor after many excellent word-of-mouth reviews. My experience was below expectation, mainly because of the noise levels in the reaturant that made conversation very difficult ... confirmed by our waiter when he asked us to speak up when ordering because he could not hear becuase of the noise.
Excellent as always. Staff were very attentive, usual Monday night corkage offer and they served each at the right time and in the right way. Food was excellent as always. Can’t fault it and would always recommend to anyone.
Great for steak.
We had lunch on a Monday - great value BYO. The restaurant was pretty busy but the service was spot on.
Shame about the finale - double espressos - warm and bitter. This was repeated when fresh coffees were made.
Always great food and service, love going back time and time again :)
Great restaurant amazing food. We had the roast beef which was amazing. Dessert was delicious and the cocktails very good. Staff were really helpful and full of knowledge and advice on your food and drink choices. Can’t wait to come back again.
We visited Hawksmoor for a Sunday roast to celebrate my fiance's birthday and were not disappointed. Rump was cooked to perfection (opted for pink over well done and it was divine), lovely crispy potatoes and yorkshire and the marrow gravy was absolutely lovely. Would recommend and will come again.
Our experience at Air Street Hawksmoor was outstanding. The service was great, food absolutely delicious and setting beautiful. Highly recommended.
We came for my boyfriend’s birthday, as, i’ve heard good things about the food. As the food was up to standard, we really enjoyed ourselves and the food. What let us down slightly was the wait for our drinks when we were waiting for our table to be ready, waiting over 20mins for it and the main dishes itself. I know they mentioned about 20-25mins for the steak, however it came more like 45mins later. Overall we enjoyed the meal which was the main thing.
Amazing food, classic interior decor ( not too fancy)
Our waiter was not good at all. We had to ask him to order drinks and then ask another waiter to get us refills on our wines. We had no serving utensils for sides and he never put in our steak sauces. I finally just asked another waiter to help us since this guy was horrible. We received our sauces just as we were finishing our steaks. Don’t know if I will go back and was hoping to have my large client January party there in 2020. I will find another place.
Unbelievable food. Excellent, attentive, friendly service.
I cannot praise this restaurant enough.
Great steak. Great service and lovely art deco room.
Very noisy- need textiles to Andor the sounds..
Had express menu as only had about an hour before running to the concert. It was good value considering location and service. Steak was nicely cooked we would go back for it, fish main was quite salty for my standard nothing that stands out. Staff were all very attentive. Overall great value & experience thank you for enjoyable dinner.
A visit to Hawksmoor air street is always a joy. The staff create a warm welcome atmosphere. The food is excellent and already looking forward to my next visit.
Nice meal, my daughter’s had monk fish which she said was brilliant so moist cooked just right I had ribeye which was cooked med rare as asked little on the chewy side. Side orders of creamed spinach buttered cabbage and triple cooked chips were very good both had starters of scallops and belly pork which were both good to full for dessert but got a box of salted caramel Rolos to go
I have eaten here many times before, it never fails to please.
Ollie the manager was a delight to deal with!!
See you again
Excellent - but expensive! The steaks are consistently superb.
Staff were very attentive & food was fab !
Too noisy! We couldn’t hear a word from each other. The food was average, did not
Food is predictably good, but it's west-end prices. Also beware of the presentation of the steak menu; it's priced per 100g.
You know what you get when you dine at a Hawksmoor restaurant and Hawksmoor Air Street is no different. The service is outstanding and the food tastes great. The staff served up a special dessert for the birthday guest and when the food unfortunately came out rare instead of medium the staff were quick to fix the error. What brings the rating down is just this error along with a few other and the sound design of the locale.
The food was really good, good steak. Good service too
Superb chateaubriand and rib in steaks. Great sides.
Our waiter George from America was great guiding our menu choices/ rump steak was tender and rare.
Would return. Casual ambiance and good prices.
The food was great time as always. Unfortunately it was hampered by very expensive wine. The Beaujolais was about £12 in shops compared to the £42 in the restaurant. Service was ok but the overall value for money was a big no no
never been before - really enjoyed it. Will certainly book again.
Delicious food, great service. My mum and I had the best time! Highly recommend this place!
INCREDIBLE SUNDAY DINNER AND SERVICE! I will be back again!
Delicious Sunday lunch. My husband had a ribeye steak and he thought it was superb.
We had an amazing time, the atmosphere was perfect, food was delicious and the service was impeccable.
Excellent meal, really enjoyed the evening, great food and service
Excellent, from pre-dinner drinks through starters, mains and dessert. Great service, great steaks perfectly cooked, washed down with a delicious bottle of wine. Exactly why I keep going back!
Noisy, very slow service. Barely finished 2 courses in 2 hours pre-theatre. Steaks good but vegetarian main course over salty -making it inedible. If you want a quiet and reasonably quick pre-theatre meal find somewhere else!
We dined with family for my sons birthday during a weekend in London. We all
Enjoyed our meals. The choice of food and drink is very good.
The Christmas pudding was amazing. A true highlight.
Food was very slow to be served, all other aspects of our reservation were great.
Was pretty disappointed by it as I’ve heard so much good reviews from people, my starter mackerel was so boring and what’s worse was it had bones in it (4 pieces not just 1), steak was cooked nicely but the fat wasn’t rendered down so it was chewy, and dessert was just underwhelming too. Wouldn’t say I want to go back.
