You know what you get when you dine at a Hawksmoor restaurant and Hawksmoor Air Street is no different. The service is outstanding and the food tastes great. The staff served up a special dessert for the birthday guest and when the food unfortunately came out rare instead of medium the staff were quick to fix the error. What brings the rating down is just this error along with a few other and the sound design of the locale.

Our waiter George from America was great guiding our menu choices/ rump steak was tender and rare.

The food was great time as always. Unfortunately it was hampered by very expensive wine. The Beaujolais was about £12 in shops compared to the £42 in the restaurant. Service was ok but the overall value for money was a big no no

INCREDIBLE SUNDAY DINNER AND SERVICE! I will be back again!

Delicious Sunday lunch. My husband had a ribeye steak and he thought it was superb.

We had an amazing time, the atmosphere was perfect, food was delicious and the service was impeccable.

Excellent, from pre-dinner drinks through starters, mains and dessert. Great service, great steaks perfectly cooked, washed down with a delicious bottle of wine. Exactly why I keep going back!

Noisy, very slow service. Barely finished 2 courses in 2 hours pre-theatre. Steaks good but vegetarian main course over salty -making it inedible. If you want a quiet and reasonably quick pre-theatre meal find somewhere else!

Food was very slow to be served, all other aspects of our reservation were great.

Was pretty disappointed by it as I’ve heard so much good reviews from people, my starter mackerel was so boring and what’s worse was it had bones in it (4 pieces not just 1), steak was cooked nicely but the fat wasn’t rendered down so it was chewy, and dessert was just underwhelming too. Wouldn’t say I want to go back.

excellent night out,we arrived late but you kept our table for us & we received a warm welcome when we arrived that set the standard for the night & we truly enjoyed our anniversary night dinner & the service was first class thank you for the special touch with the Happy anniversary dessert plate,special thanks to Agne our waitress you made our anniversary very special & for that alone we thank you.

Food and service were both excellent, but it did come at a high price. (The set lunch menu, on the other hand, did look excellent value for money.)

My wife and I had the fish courses on this visit and they were excellent. We had scallops and mussels as starters and then we both had Dover Sole meuniere and they were impeccably cooked, so don’t go just for the steaks! We had a very nice Spanish white and the cocktails were a bit out of the norm but in a good way. Professional service as usual. They do maintain a high standard so highly recommended.

Great service. Food was excellent all round, although cheese was served slightly too cold.
Cost much more than we are used to paying outside London, but didn't feel ripped off at all!

We had a great time, eating at Air Street, on Sunday. always wanted to try a Hawksmoor restaurant, but waited for a very special occasion to go, for financial reasons so we celebrated my wife's 60th birthday there. We thank our waiter George, from Virginia enough. He was very attentive, knowledgable and kind. We would like to thank him again for his touching gestures, to my wife, for her 60th. He is a five star person and a waiter.

The food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the Sunday roast and the desserts very much. We would of course like to go again, for another very special day, this time to try those mouth-watering steaks on your website.

Since this is a review, I hope you don't mind me saying that, the only downside was the level of noise, otherwise its a gem.

Great Sunday Roast. Expensive but good quality food and portion was huge! The only thing is service charge was a lot (even for London) and they brought us the bill when we hadn’t requested it so felt pressure to leave the table. Otherwise all good and would recommend!

Really lovely food and service and it was great to be able to have a gluten free roast dinner! The staff also took my allergies really seriously and were super helpful with it. It is great quality food but a bit expensive for a roast!

I've lost track how many times I've been to Hawksmoor Air Street, but it is always a pleasure and a treat. Service was far above and beyond what you would expect despite the restaurant being very busy, the food was - what else - excellent, and the fact that they even figured out that my sons both had birthdays and put a candle on their sundaes was the topping in every sense of the word. Must I write anything else? One thing: that I live in another country and can't go as often as I'd like to.

We were looking for an after show restaurant near to Picadilly and found Hawsmoor Air Street via Google. We booked based on the customer reviews and were glad that we did. The food was superb and resonably priced for London and they have an extensive wine list to suit alll tastes and budgets.
We were so impressd we went back the next night as well.

First visit and disappointed. Booked a table for 5.30pm before going to the theatre. Food arrived at 6.35pm so very rushed. Hawksmmor did waive the cost of two glasses of wine which was appreciated but overall it spoilt what was meant to be a special occasion.
