It provides 'the best power breakfast' (GQ Magazine) to London's financial capital and is perfect for meetings and entertaining clients. The 160-cover restaurant is renowned for serving dictionary-thick steaks simply cooked on a real charcoal grill.
The wine list has been carefully selected to include their favourite wines from obscure small producers and big name vineyards alike and the bar is manned by some of the best bartenders in London serving classic cocktails and original drinks.
There is also a private dining room seating 24, as well as a table for 10 in the main dining room, which serves the exclusive menus.
Hawksmoor Guildhall is also available for exclusive hire.
Great food. Great venue but bit noisy on Friday nights for normal conversation.
A little noisy at first as it was very busy but my quests enjoyed it which is the most important thing.
Service was just right for a business lunch
Food was great
We went there for the full English breakfast for two. We were very late for our reservation but the staff was still incredibly kind and accommodating. The food was amazing. If I lived in London, I would go constantly. The food was great the service was also great. I will definitely go back whenever I am in London.
Loved it! Couldn't fault the service. And my eggs royale was the BEST I've ever had- superb!
Thank you all again, you made my birthday breakfast very special.
Excellent from start to finish, very attentive staff and amazing food!
What a great place and atmosphere, it’s buzzing. The staff are outstanding, so polite friendly and informative. We ordered a porterhouse steak -Wow! All the food is amazing from the carpaccio to the chips and creamed spinach.
We will definitely be recommending and we are already looking forward to going back
Incredible food and fast service!
Overall good experience at the Hawksmoor. The service was a bit of a let down - I ordered an orange juice and a coffee arrived. When I asked again for an orange juice I had to ask a second time as it hadn’t arrived after 10 minutes.
I have been to Hawksmoor many times over the years. The food was ok, service just ok. Venue is noisy for this type of restaurant and it was surprisingly busy! Has Hawksmoor lost it awsome steak touch!
I have been visiting Hawksmoor with friends for years, and have frequented each London branch. During this time, I have always wanted to try their breakfast but have never had the time until this visit, and boy was it worth the wait!
As usual, ambiance and service were good, with no servers being overbearing or rushing us to order.
As it was our first time having their breakfast offering, we decided to go with the staple Sharing Breakfast. Each item was familiar by name, however, the medley of tastes that hit from even the humble tomato was unexpectedly exciting and delicious. We asked to substitute one portion of the eggs with the other portion being scrambled instead of fried, which was not an issue whatsoever. Highlights of the dish was the sausages, (made with pork, beef, & mutton), and trotter baked beans.
Would I wait so long to visit for breakfast again, no way in hell!
Kudos the the Hawksmoor team, who seem to always satisfy me with ease!
Well, simply the best steaks in the whole world, with outstanding service and friendly staff. Absolutely recommended.
Great food and service. Would recommend and visit again!
Great food as ever ... been many times...but first down the service has fallen down. Waited 20mins for drinks, then only 1 of the 2 came, then had to remind them... and so it went on ...
Food was excellent as ever. Service was great. It's always pricey but worth it.
A wonderful experience, where a business meeting became an culinary event in a wonderful setting, where service was discreet but available and knowledgeable when requested.
If you have not sampled the food and service of Hawksmoor, then I would strongly recommend you take the chance and see for yourself.
I am already looking forward to an excuse to book a table again on my next visit to London.
Great prime rib
This place hits all the correct spots for me. As soon as you walk into the place it’s just a pleasure, the 2 ladies on the first desk we’re very welcoming, staff downstairs we’re all unbelievable. Food as always is deferent class, didn’t have to wait long. I’d definitely recommend the lobster side...! Already looking forward to going back.
Super food, great ambience, and a lovely place to have a special lunch. Very much enjoyed my meal.
Excellent food & great staff, but a meal in the middle of Piccadilly Circus would be quieter. Insanely loud. Impossible to have a conversation unless you scream. Very surprised an expensive restaurant like this hasn’t got better noise insulation.
Consistently excellent food. The 3 course express menu was delicious. Wish we’d had longer to enjoy it rather than rushing back to work!
Great service as always
Always good food - really good service in there and a decent solid dinner!
Had breakfast at Hawksmoor Guildhall last week. Was ok but my avacado on toast was really salty. Much better for lunch and dinner I would say.
Hi - came for breakfast with a group of client on the 6 March. Table booked was for 6 people but having been shown to a table with five settings and after pointing this out, this was quickly rectified before all guests arrived. We were served by Max (I think). He was very helpful when questioned on the juices available and provided very good service for the length of our stay. The food as usual was of a very high standard and we all had a great time. We will be back for sure!
We had a great client breakfast , food and service stunning!
Superb food. Great service - attentive and enthusiastic in the right way. Top draw.
Great as always
This was an exceptional experience, top quality meat, and such a unique twist on a great fry up. We enjoyed every moment, and the staff were so warm and friendly. I would heartily recommend. Fantastic!
Faultless as always, service, food, wine!
See you soon!
Excellent steak house. For non-drinkers, easily the most expensive soft drink in London at £3 for a 200ml bottle of Coca-Cola.
Amazing service and amazing food! Great place for a business lunch!
Best steak in London?
I’ve eaten many times at the various Hawksmoors. I have to say, tonight’s Rib Eye topped the lot. Highly recommended....
Although they had no lobster the night we attended the rest of the food, crab, scallops, porterhouses were excellent. The only downside was even though the restaurant wasn’t completely full when we visited the acoustics in the room need to be sorted as the noise volume from the other diners was deafening. Our party of 3 had to lean in and yell in each other’s faces to maintain a conversation.
always excellent for a business lunch, nice staff and great steak
Lovely welcome, attentive service, good food and wine and knowledgeable sommelier. Restaurant can get quite noisy so probably not the place for an intimate dinner or discreet business dinner. But still one of the favourites
Food was pretty good but service completely incompetent: main was brought out before the starters; waiter knocked over chips when main came second time around; had to ask THREE times for a second bottle of water; randomly given seemingly another table’s plate of toast and butter! Also it was incredibly noisy - we found it very difficult to have a conversation.
fantastic breakfast offering the platter to share for two is very substantial and great value for money!
Treat yourself to breakfast at Hawksmoor and start your day as you mean to go on!
