It provides 'the best power breakfast' (GQ Magazine) to London's financial capital and is perfect for meetings and entertaining clients. The 160-cover restaurant is renowned for serving dictionary-thick steaks simply cooked on a real charcoal grill.
The wine list has been carefully selected to include their favourite wines from obscure small producers and big name vineyards alike and the bar is manned by some of the best bartenders in London serving classic cocktails and original drinks.
There is also a private dining room seating 22, as well as a table for 10 in the main dining room, which serves the exclusive beef tasting feast menu.
Hawksmoor Guildhall is also available for exclusive hire.

Best steak EVER. I will never eat steak anywhere else ever again.
I had invited a couple to celebrate their recent wedding and we were incredibly well taken care of. Their sommelier was also able to recommend an excellent Beaujolais wine which worked very well with our main dishes. All of us were very happy with the dinner and service. Note that one of the guests had a gluten intolerance and they were able to cater for this with a special menu.
Good, but not great.
Despite asking for "lots of custard" with my dessert it came in what was possibly the world's smallest jug . I didn't even know that they made jugs that small.
This place is PHENOMINAL! We had the Porterhouse and its in the running for the best steak we have ever had. Service is great and food came very quickly. Great knowledge of menu by the staff. Value for money is also fantastic in comparison with other London high end restaurants. The only potential downside is the noise level, its not a place for a romantic meal. However, if this is not what you are looking for then I cant recommend this place enough. Go there!
best bit of steak i have eaten in a very long time.!!
When you spend £36 on a steak your expectations will be high - for me the rare cooked fillet was ok - it was not great. The venue is great for business meals which is why I was there.
Very noisy but the meet is outstanding. The service takes time to prepare the meet to their best.
A little overrated, as the place to go for a ‘power breakfast.’
Good food, wine and service (although would have loved some St Emillion on the menu). Very rowdy group of young men on the next table, which brought the tone down a bit - but did see the manager have a word with them, which was reassuring
Very good indeed. My favorite steak restaurant. The menu is gloriously uncluttered and the service has got better.
Service was ridiculously slow...
Fantastic meal. Service was on point and the food absolutely top draw.
Had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Food was excellent as was service and atmosphere
Fantastic meal. Cocktails were delicious - marmalade martini and their version of a pisco sour. Meal was delicious steak was perfectly cooked, as you’d expect. Sides all good. We had cheese for dessert - coulston basset. Epic. Wine was great. Would recommend.
Overpriced, fillet steak flavourless, first drink took 15 minutes to arrive. Ordered a glass of red wine with my steak, never came. Totally ignored as we left the restaurant. Don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon.
It’s too loud, difficult to keep the conversation
Went there for breakfast with a couple of colleagues. Had steak and eggs. My colleagues had full english. Was nice but not out of this world. Good service. The place was packed full of business people. Nice atmosphere. The restaurant is huge.
Love the sticky toffee pudding but the noise level was way too high
Lovely, atmospheric underground restaurant with fabulous service and a delicious menu.
I adore this restaurant, the food is outstanding, the wine list fantastic, and the cocktails spot on. It’s a beautiful room as well.
Most enyoyable dinner - early booking so was very quiet but staff super attentive. Food was excellent, good mix of steak and seafood. Mosy enjoyable
What is it with Hawksmoor. It’s a steak restaurant that mixes up orders and messes up the simple task of cooking a steak. Happily the rest of our group celebrating a graduation had lovely food which they really enjoyed. I asked for a rib eye medium rare which came out medium-well. The next appeared as the French would describe “blue” ...... such a shame. Customer care rescue by the excellent waitress removed my steak from the bill. Thank you. Better to get it right first time.
Probably the best breakfast you can find in Central London, executed with efficiency that shows this place is run and staffed by people who care about what they do. No mucking about by staff they are on point for customers. Exceptional venue, please don't change the formula.
Fabulous evening celebrating my birthday with family. Service was truly outstanding, our waiter Taylor went above and beyond. Great food, wine choices weren't exceptional but overall we had a really lovely time. The Hawksmoor old fashioned in the dessert section was divine too.
Great steak restaurant that delivers what it says on the tin. Better then Gouchos and Goodmans in my opinion due to better starters, sides and desserts.
Pretty good all round but not stellar. Sort of what you would expect but not better. Slightly underwhelming in a basement with little character. A city business lunch place for sure - with prices to match
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal - the food was exceptional, the wine list excellent and the service was second to none. All in all a wonderful experience.
The sharing breakfast was amazing. First time here I will be back again it’s superb quality and a little bit different meat fest.
Fantastic breakfast as always and the service was top too. Considering you don’t have to eat until dinner with the sharer breakfast, it’s also pretty decent value too!
Superb food, great atmosphere and amazing service. Highly recommend the Giant malteser for dessert!
We celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary at the Hawksmoor Guildhall. A lovely evening. The staff greeted us, noted our wedding anniversary and looked after us well. The food was amazing. Not a cheap night, but the food was magnificent.
Overall a disappointing experience when I visited for a special lunch the other day. The restaurant wasn't busy however the service was poor. Each stage of the meal from entering to choosing, ordering & finally getting our food, was very slow. This spoilt what otherwise would have been a good experience as the food & ambiance was good.
This is an excellent place for a business lunch. The food is great as long as you like steaks. Been before will go again.
Steaks were perfectly cooked and the service was very attentive. All-in-all a great lunch!
It has become a ‘tradition’ for us to go to Hawksmoor at least once a year for special occasions. Best steak and breakfast ever xx
Amazing evening! Andrew (Restaurant manager) was brilliant and the food was fabulous!
Can not fault it!
Great great breakfast of champions! Wonderful food and highly recommended.
Great breakfast venue. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Excellent - Hawksmoor delivers a consistently great experience
Ate from the bargain set menu early. Love the potted beef and Yorkshire pud starter, can’t go wrong with a hawksmoor steak, and squeezed in the excellent sticky toffee sundae!
Staff were excellent, from initial greeting to departure. We’ll be back before long.
