Lovely, super service and amazing food, steaks cooked to perfection. Good portion sizes too
As usual, excellent food, warm, friendly, and knowledgable service staff - who are a credit to The Hawksmoor Manchester.
Thank you for making my meal a very enjoyable evening.
Good service from
Friendly staff who adjusted the menu to suit
Once again a very enjoyable meal. Excellent food and drink served in a friendly atmosphere. Service second to none.
Nice Restaurant & Atmosphere Friendly Welcoming Staff on the Front Desk. Staff inside the Restaurant Attentive & Knowledgable but waited almost an hour for food to arrive & when it did arrive food was cold & Yorkshire Pudding Rock Hard. Complained to the Manager before we left. This was our first time dining at Hawksmoor something we had been looking forward to. I appreciate the Resturant was busy & cooking food to order takes time but when we asked a member of staff how long the food would be we were told it should be out shortly. Maybe the way forward would be to give an idea of waiting time when food is ordered
Meeting up with long absent friends. Loved the place, staff and food!!
Thank you for a great night. 👌
Great food. Seated 25 minutes late which is poor when you have a booking. Subsequent only ate 1hr 30min after our original booking time. Not acceptable to say the least. As great as the food is I won’t be going again.
Always excellent food and service and did not disappoint
We had a lovely meal, the food was incredible. We opted for the January offer so value for food was great. I didn’t give 5 stars for service simply because we had a wait of over half an hour after arriving but our waitress Cleo was fabulous.
I have wanted to visit the Hawksmoor for a long time and WOW what an amazing experience. From being met by the lovely lady as we entered the building and being then taken to the bar area, we were made to feel very important. On entering the restaurant half an hour later, it was breath taking, your menu was just right, with not too many choices, but enough choices of steak to make me want to order them all. I can truly say I have been spoilt, as any fillet steak I now have will not be a patch on the Hawksmoor. Can I also commend your staff, it was a refreshing change to be served by staff who wanted to be there and make your Customers enjoy their evening - thank you, I will be returning.
The food at Hawksmoor is always amazing. Best steaks around. The service and the hospitality of the staff is also excellent. Will definitely be dining there soon.
This was our first visit and recommended to us. A couple of things we would have changed was that on arrival we were asked if we would like a drink in the bar which we agreed to not realising that we would then have to wait until we had finished those drinks to then be shown to our table by which time we were very hungry. Now we know the procedure we would have asked to go straight to our table, maybe this needs to be worded slightly better on arrival. It was very busy and we did wait around 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Once we had our drinks the remainder of our experience was great, service was good and the food was perfectly cooked and came quite quickly considering the very good quality. We would definitely re visit based on the food quality.
Excellent food and evening. Will be back soon. Alex
We went for the 3 courses with a cocktail at £35pp well worth a visit, and we will definitely be back to try the main menu thankyou
Great service and quite a good January deal. Rump a little less tender than usual, but acceptable. Will keep on returning.
The January offer...falls very short of the main menu visits we done before. Poor
Excellent food and service as always, the January offer was a bonus!
All the staffs are super friendly, especially when we came with two kids and two prams. Going anywhere will be a nightmare with kids but not at Hawksmoor, all the staffs are really welcoming and surprisingly a very baby friendly place with baby changing facility. Staffs were helping us carry the prams up and down the stairs which made it easy for us to bring the prams. There isn’t a child menu but since my kids doesn’t eat much anyway we can easily order some sides for them.
Absolutely amazing food and great staff
Very helpful and friendly
The January deal menu has fairly limited choices. Not worth the value and choices. We end up paying for full price menu. The steak is good.
However, this totally defeat the ‘enjoy great food - less price’ purpose. Was so excited initially but left fairly disappointed. Lesson learnt - imperative to read the small print or check out the menu prior on Jan deal.
Thank you for a lovely experience. I couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate my 4*th birthday. A real treat and your lovely staff looked after us. The birthday card on the table and complimentary drinks was a really nice touch and the food was up to it’s usual excellent standard too. Thank you.
It was a lovely meal, we did get the January deal so it was good for pricing. The rump steak was delicious!!! The girls at the door and who served us were lovely, well attentive, filling up our glasses of water constantly without having to ask, checking we were okay! Would defo recommend!
1 dish was disappointing. Skillet fillet very tough unable to eat most of it. . Waiter removed from the bill.
I've heard a lot about Hawsmoor, so wanted to go. We had the three course Winter menu. The food was really good, but not exceptional. The service was exceptional though - friendly and efficient. I think maybe I was expecting fine dining, but this is really an upmarket steak house.
Great food, great service. The wine recommended was lovely. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
Very very cold steak
Poor cut of rump
Felt sick four hours after
Vastly overpriced.my wife’s tail cut of fillet was quite frankly a rip off.Very disappointed overall.
Great place if you like steaks. On the expensive side but I don't think you'll be disappointed. My wine was not as cold as I would've liked, but thats down to preference. Service was fantastic.
This was our first visit but read many reviews. The restaurant in Manchester is in the old courts, so the building was lovely. We found out a lot of the interior is reclaimed in some way... so many of fixtures have had a past life elsewhere... this just added to the beauty of the restaurant.
The attentiveness of the staff from the start was warm and welcoming. Waiter service in the bar area, with refills of water without being ‘in your face’.
The non-alcoholic cocktails were lovely and had a fresh new twist to them. They even have non-alcoholic gin!
Upon seating in the main restaurant we were struck by how large and busy it was, very deceptive from the outside. The menu wasn’t overwhelming and the prices reasonable for the quality.
Upon ordering my wife and I choose the roasts for the main, my wife had the belly pork for starters, and I had the Mackerel Salad.
Oh my word the salad was light and full of flavour. The belly pork cooked to perfection, moist yet a crispy, not chewy at all.
Then came the roasts; buttery carrots, fresh vibrant green cabbage, crunchy yet fluffy roast potatoes, roast beef cooked to perfection, tender well seasoned, definitely the best roast dinner in Manchester by far. The gravy was the tastiest and they don’t ration it either. The Yorkshire was the biggest I’ve seen.
After all this we shared dessert... Peanut Butter shortbread with Salted Caramel ice cream.
The shortbread was warmed, buttery melt in the mouth goodness. The peanut butter taste didn’t overwhelm the shortbread, and the ice cream was a magical ride on my taste buds.
Simple yet so tasty.
Would we go again, absolutely... would we go every weekend if we could... most certainly.
Thank you Hawksmoor... you have spoilt us.
Lovely place great food great service. Highly recommended
Brought some friends from out of town as its one of my favourite places to eat in Manchester, the food and service was lovely and they both really enjoyed it. Never disappoints!
Outstanding food and service...
Fantastic service, wonderful food, my favourite restaurant in Manchester
Loved it here for Saturday lunch. The bone marrow with onions is amazing, as is the bone marrow gravy! They should do a bone marrow mayo too 🤤
Excellent service and excellent food! Really enjoyed our meal and evening. Great atmosphere. Pricey ... however not overpriced. Appropriately priced as food was excellent.
Great place, great food, great service as always.
You really can’t beat eating at any of the Hawksmoore restaurants.
Fantastic and we will be back yet again.
Excellent food. Excellent selection. Excellent service. Excellent venue and ambience. Excellent value. What more can I say.
Lovely food and ambience. The service was outstanding
greatest steak ever................................
As always the service is fantastic. The Sunday roast was absolutely delicious, could have done with some more roast potatoes but that’s me being greedy.
The Sour Cherry Americano cocktail was incredibly refreshing.
