Outstanding food, drinks and service. Certainly not cheap, but an excellent choice for a special occasion.
A delicious meal, excellent service, nice wine and a great atmosphere. Thank you.
Best Sunday roast I have ever had.
The meat at the restaurant is outstanding.
Very friendly staff.
All in all - excellent
Me and my twin chose to celebrate our 22nd birthday in Hawksmoor. The food was delicious. We ordered a sirloin stake, half of a chicken and half of a native lobster. The stake was perfect and with slightly crunchy on the outside, Amazing! The lobster was very delicate and flavorful, but it was small for that price. The chicken was a big portion and tasted very well. I was happy to order it with a half of the lobster so that I could feel full. I would order more sides which are pretty small. We shared two sides.
Overall, amazing place to go to. Dark entrance, which leads you to the mysterious underground club. Feels like a guys club with good food. Casual and comfortable.
An excellent lunch with great staff, atmosphere & food. Fillet steaks were very good and cooked to perfections!
Excellent service, staff very friendly, steak was delicious
Excellent venue. Waiter was excellent and very professional. Not in your face or pushy just a good honest waiter. Will definitely be back some day.
Never fails to disappoint. The express menu was great.
A friend and I enjoyed the summer set menu with a cocktail for £35. We were seated promptly and received excellent service from start to finish.
Each course was delicious.
We chose the Potted Beef with Yorkshires to start, enjoyed Rump steak for the main and Sticky Toffee Sundae for pudding.
Overall an enjoyable and pleasant experience with great staff and delicious food. Would definitely dine here again!
The staff here were just incredible. I rarely leave a written response but I feel compelled this time. I’ve been here a few times now and in a moment of madness my wife and I decided to take our 11 month old baby girl with us to lunch with our friends and it’s fair to say she was everywhere. The staff though were awesome and looked after us exceptionally well. I cannot praise them enough.
Also, the food wasn’t bad either. Try the steak!
Should offer ‘normal brand’ lagers and ciders and house wine as the ones used were to an acquired taste (awful)!
I was really looking forward to eating at this restaurant, it was a treat for the family on a visit to London. The staff were pleasant but it was all very casual hipster types which I wasn't really expecting. Getting to the meat of it (pun intended), the food was good but not great. My expectation Between 5 we shared a rib eye, fillet and a porterhouse plus a number of sides. The steaks were fairly tender, reasonable flavour but over charred and over salted so in the end the all tasted the same. They were not in the least bit juicy, and the porterhouse was overdone at the edges so quite chewy in places. The sides were very forgettable, the wine was reasonable and ambience ok.
For a 300 quid meal, not at all value for money and I wouldn't recommend to a friend.
Prebooked a table for a Friday night with some friends. There was no wait time and showed straight tonmy table. Bit annoying having prebooked 2months in advance and still having a table by the kitchen. The waiter was friendly and helpful but had limited knowledge on the various whiskies and how they paired with steak. Food took a while to come but when it did we throughly enjoyed it. My wife had the lobster roll (which she rated highly) and we had the steak. Felt the steak was slightly over cooked and the maple bacon was slightly undercooked, but in anycase the food was still great all the same. Overall was a pleasant experience .
Second visit and probably not the last. Steak was excellent if expensive but you get what you pay for...
Delicious food, friendly staff, nice environment, a little bit noisy
Had a fantastic meal here. Waiters went above and beyond so definitely will be returning!
an excellent evening of great food and fabulous venue to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Consistently amazing food and drink, wonderful friendly staff, we’re never disappointed!
Fantastic experience form start to finish. Service was amazing and food was excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone for a special occasion - if I could I would dine there on a regular basis.
Love Hawksmoor. This was the first time at seven dials, took the family as a treat - two young boys who can eat their own body weight in meat! Food was excellent as always, service impeccable, all in all a very good experience.
The restaraunt itself was nice, serive from staff very good however the food wasnt as good as expected, my steak was medium to well even though i asked medium rare.
Reliably consistent in quality of steaks and food. Service friendly and engaging
food was just amazing with fantastic service provided by jack, we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we loved teh whole experience
Staff were friendly friendly, good choice of menu. The overall service and food were very good.
Yes, would recommend them to my friends.
Best dining experience ever. Took my fiance here just after proposing to her and it was the perfect fit. Great mood, great food and probably the best waiter i have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Hats off to them.
The Chateaubriand was a disappointment, over cooked and not even remotely succulent.
Great service. Our waiter recommended drinks from what we liked and they were delicious.
We had the roast which was huge but one of the pieces if meat was very fatty.
The sea bream was delicious!
Incredible roast. I loved the decor/interior too, great place for lunch or dinner
I came with my mum as a special birthday celebration. I myself am a Vegetarian and the courgette dish did not disappoint. My mum thoroughly enjoyed her sirloin steak and cauliflower cheese and her pink gin recommendation from our waitress who was perfectly attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and very pleasant to chat to you. It was the perfect atmosphere for a Saturday night despite making the booking at short notice for 10Pm, we were able to be accommodated and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Despite frequently visiting the Manchester Deansgate site regularly, I feel that the Seven Dials however really steps it up to a world class service. Highly recommend.
Lovely food, table was ready upon arrival, wait staff were very knowledgeable and were able to recommend a lovely Malbec to pair with our steak.
Everything was clean, tidy and well presented.
The waitress heard us talking about it being my partners birthday and put a candle in the desert and sung for him, it was a lovely touch that topped off the night!
We visited this restaurant at Langley Street on the evening of Saturday 10th August 2019 to celebrate
our 45th wedding anniversary.
We were greeted and checked in very pleasantly by a member of your staff. My wife was carrying a muscular leg injury, but the receptionist kindly allowed us to use the elevator down to the restaurant.
She also showed us to our table which was excellant.
I ordered a fillet steak with wild mushrooms and mash potato, my wife had filleted sea bream with mash potato for our main courses. Both were very nicely prepared and served to our table.
I had for dessert the rasperberry pannacotta which I did love.
The surroundings in the restaurant are lovely. Tables are a little too close to each other but we could see
this is a very popular place to dine
We only had one negative and that was that the room was very noisy and at times we could not hear one
I was recommended by a client of my business and have to say we could not fault the food and service
Incidently I allowed the "Optional 12.5% " service charge which was automatically added to our bill, as our waiter was very attentive. I do feel however on small parties this should be left to the discretion of the clientele to decide on leaving a tip.
Otherwise we had a pleasant evening, we were not rushed during our meal which is also a big plus for us.
Would I return, probably not due to the noise levels. However food and service are very good
4th visit and I still can’t imagine eating anywhere else in London. If you are a lover of quality cuts of meat, amazing food, beautiful cocktails and an amazing dining experience, whatever the occasion...Hawksmoor Seven Dials is your place! can’t wait for next time!
Everything was great, 3rd or 4th time we’ve visited. My fries were sent back as they weren’t very hot, but it was dealt with quickly and didn’t cause a problem. Greta was a good server and very attentive.
Food excellent, service excellent. It is expensive but well worth the price.
Amazing . Would definitely come again service and food was incredible
Food was amazing & the service was top! Will 100% be returning
Great steak. Friendly and knowledgable waiting staff. What a treat!
Absolutely outstanding, fantastic food wine and service!
Loved the idea of ordering a different cut of steak to the norm and being able to choose your own
The beef dripping sauce was to die for, steak cooked to perfection, excellent sides: what more could I ask for. Service was efficient and a good choice of venue before visiting the ballet.
Lovely ambience, friendly attentive staff and possibly the best steak i've ever had. Perfect.
