Lovely meal, can’t fault. Would definitely return.
Amazing food and service, staff could not be more efficient!
Fantastic restaurant outstanding food, and the staff were so so lovely. Made the birthday celebrations very special
Fabulous food and service although we both found our steaks to be a little bit too salty for our tastes
The waiter & food were amazing but we waited 45min for the food & the venue was incredibly noisy.
Great staff and very cosy and relaxing place to spend an afternoon eating delicious food. The lobster starter was delicious and the T-Bone was incredible.
We was extremely disappointed the steaks were cold, side dishes turned up very later. Not to Hawksmoor standard! We had to sit in bar for 30mins as table not ready The lady who took us to our table was not apologetic and rather abrupt!
They ask if you are celebrating anything then do absolutely nothing not even a sparkler why bother asking?
Very disappointed that there was no menu for children (11 and 7 years). It would have been much better to find out that children weren't welcome at the time of booking table. By the time we realised it was too late as we were sat down in a busy restaurant with no other options on a sat night.
Food was delicious. Service was great. Loved the vibe. Cannot complain
Great food and attentive servers, all at a reasonable cost.
Good service. Attentive but not over the top. Roast beef cooked perfectly.
Lovely food and amvience
Best decision you’ll ever make. Food delicious, staff friendly and venue gorgeous.
The food was absolutely delicious. Top quality. Service was knowledgeable & quick
Great meat! Express menu is excellent value. White and pear cheesecake was a dream.
The steak, wine and bread were really good; cooked accordingly(medium/medium rare), very tasty, great portions. Didn't like the triple cooked chips though, more watered down(?) than usual, would go for regular chips next time. Service was great and friendly
If you are into meat, this is definitely your place. Good selection, cooked to your taste on great quality cuts.
Excellent quality food very well but simply prepared, in a very pleasant setting. Attentive but unobtrusive service
Great food, amazing service, great location for a pre theatre lunch.
Disappointed to see with the rising COVID cases that the restaurant was back to full capacity with not a single member of staff wearing masks and zero social distancing measures in place. All the more unusual given the volume of emails from the owners this past 18 months about safety being paramount.
Food was excellent as always but service wasn't very good. The waitress got a forgot a food order which I had to wait for whilst the rest of the group were all eating. She also got drinks order wrong.
We always find a Hawkmoor Restaurant to celebrate Big events . It never fails us.. fantastic evening
Great meal - delicious steak, cooked to perfection.
Famous for its steaks but imho the Sea Bream knocks the steak for six. This fish was supreme and perfectly complemented by a superb bottle of Chablis. Express menu at 5:30pm is perfect for theatre. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Excellent food and service great atmosphere and nice birthday touches
For the supposed reputation of the establishment and value that Hawksmoor charges, little is reflected within the actual dishes presented. The starters were a creative combination of flavors and wonderfully plated, however the mains and accompanying dishes which followed left much to be desired. The presentation thereof leaning toward that of a cantine rather than the promised fine dining. It was delicious, but nearly all aged steaks are.
It is unfortunate, but Hawksmoor Seven Dials gave the impression of a restaurant with a reputation and popularity which was once well earned, but has since become complacent and over-reliant on it, with much of the chefs creativity wilted and a personal touch lacking.
All in all, it was a good meal, but nothing worth writing home about.
I took my girlfriend for her 50th birthday celebration on Thursday 21st October and we had a fantastic time from the moment we walked in to the moment we left with everyone playing a part in a fantastic night of excellent food and red wine and great service also.
I mentioned it was my girlfriends birthday and the Hawksmoor brought out some chocolates on a plate that read out happy birthday which helped make it the most memorable night. Thank you Hawksmoor.
Wonderful starters, but the main courses were lacklustre. Steak was overly chewy and not warm enough, and chicken nicely cooked but really nothing special. The food prices are extremely high and haven’t kept up with the competition, where you can find better food at half the price.
Hawksmoor never fails to impress. Gorgeous food-best steak ever. The sides are superb. Wonderful service-our waiter was lovely, professional & very attentive. Took my daughter for her 18th & she got a little sweet treat at the end. Thank you so much. You need more restaurants up north!! x
Our waiter Sergio was exceptionally friendly and helpful
We all had a fantastic evening, the staff were amazing and food was excellent
Had the set lunch it was all lovely, wine was also good. Service was amazing. If there is one thing I could criticise is no much of a break between courses
Always delivers. Great steak and wine list. Only downside is the tomato sauce. It’s nice but just not ketchup
Great food, great service.
Service was friendly and very attentive. Alcohol and food was fantastic.
Firstly our service was incredible. We never got the name of the waiter, but he was extremely attentive and helped make something of the occasion, which was celebrating a friends birthday.
Food was incredible and again our waiter gave us very good recommendations that suited us all. Depending on how much you eat I would recommend sharing a number of sides within your party as they do appear quite small.
Overall an incredible experience and would highly recommend this restaurant.
Lovely ambience, food amazing, top service as always
Great service and a good steak. Ambience is good for a quiet meal.
Really stunning - simply very well sourced, cooked and served with no fuss but plenty of friendly and attentive service. First time visit and just visiting the area but 100% recommend
Great food and service and all with lovely ambiance.
