Best ribs i’ve ever had for starter, gorgeous steak and lovely lobster.
Food is incredible we shared a Chateaubriand and it was cooked to perfection.
Only issue we had was it's really loud in there which I guess for a frids y night is expected
Best stake restaurant in London.
Best place for meat lovers.
We had a fabulous evening here last week. I wanted a smaller filler steak and the restaurant were really helpful in meeting my ask.
I can genuinely say that this was one of the best steaks I have ever had - ever
And we travel the world
Thank you hawksmoor !
food was good but service poor. waiter did not bring a copy of the express menu out to us until asked and after we asked for it seemed grumpy and annoyed. this continued throughout service. we were also served the wrong sides. disappointing as all my other meals here have been excellent. will still return again but hope it's better next time.
Great food, service and the steaks are out of this world
Steak was not so nice as expected. Bone marrow was same.
Hawksmoor has easily the best steak in East London, and never fails to deliver on this. Sides are also fantastic, with crispy, flavoursome fries (which could be fried just a shade darker!), and delicious creamed spinach. I have always loved, even looked forward to, the pavlova at Hawksmoor, but on this occasion, a pineapple and coconut pavlova was made with ice cream and sorbet rather than cream, and I'm afraid this detracted - a lot - from the crispy, chewy meringue nest at the bottom, as did the texture of the dried coconut chips adorning the dessert. Bring back the classic pavlovas, and we're dancing.
Fantastic as always!
I would highly recommend Hawksmoor to anybody who likes their Sunday Roasts or Steaks.
The meat is fantastic and the Sunday lunch was perfect. All meals are a good plated amount and would be fit for any foodie.
Great evening out at Hawksmoor - Food does not disappoint, neither do the drinks or serving staff! Will definitely be back
Visited Hawksmoor Spitalfields for my partners birthday. Great food, great service
Great, relaxed service. Delicious menu - sad they didn’t make the beef and bone marrow sausages the day we went, but will try them next time.
Went to Hawksmoor Spitalfields with my wife for our anniversary. the food was spectacular, the choice of wines and cocktails were extensive and expertly. We actually came here because it was recommended to us in a cocktail book that we've had for some years. Both food and drink were of high standard. The service was considerate and attentive - the host had secured a quieter table with lower seating for my pregnant wife, and greeted me by name on arrival. an all round quality venue. Thank you!
We went here tonight for our 4 year anniversary and had an amazing time. The food was superb worth every penny. The steak was beautifully cooked and the sticky toffee pudding was the best I’ve ever had. The service was great and in particular our server Alex was great at recommending drinks to go with the meal. I would highly recommend.
Pricey but in my opinion worth the money, took my boyfriend for his birthday and we both agreed it was the best meal out we’ve ever had.
The restaurant is noisy so hard to talk but food is really superb and the service is excellent
One of the steaks ordered was incorrectly cooked and whilst this was rectified this took time and w
Good food and wine but feels upmarket high street rather than special hidden gem
Sunday roast is epic and such good value (only£21)... great cuts of beef and gravy is ridiculous!!! Hard to beat.
Hawksmoor Spitalfields was as amazing as ever. Beautiful food and delicious wine.
Food good but did not live up to hype. Slightly annoyed to be charged £7.00 for OJ and soda. Soda charged separately at over £2.00!
The food was good but took forever to arrive!
Excellent all round . Hawaksmoor staff always helpful and food excellent
Wonderful as always. Never miss a beat, hence the repetition of my visits.
Keep up the good work
High end day pricing, medium level decor. Meat devoid of any nice charring effect; the natural way to cause tang.
Gaucho etc much plusher for same cost.
The food and service were, as always, faultless.
We all had the Sunday roast (beef) - perfectly cooked. Very good value as all the vegetables and expected accompaniments are included.
The service is efficient but not rushed.
It was a lovely relaxing meal- and the air conditioning was an added bonus in the heat on last Sunday.
We really enjoyed the food. The reception staff were very friendly and made a great first impression. Our waitress was very sweet but a little disorganised and this meant we were left waiting for cutlery. And having to ask for wine and our extra side orders. It was a slight shame as we had great expectations and the food was great. We would return but in the hope that the service would be a little more organised. Lovely staff overall & cool vibe. We would recommendx
Booked the hawksmoore for my husbands birthday and from start to finish it was excellent, best steak and service we have had. We shared a 700g porthouse steak which was just right.
It was a lovely restaurant and the food and drinks were exquisite! Excellent food, the staff were really friendly and personable, nice relaxed atmostpherel, just really great food and service!
Outstanding service and food to match, Great options, even on the express lunch menu.
Only note if any would be the booth style seating size but there are plenty of seating options so in now way a negative.
Fantastic location for the city or Shoreditch, will definitely returning
Weird that they only do a short menu in this branch (in the ground floor?!) which was not apparent to me when I booked and therefore was more expensive than my fellow diner was expecting, so I picked up the tab.
Nice service but VERY loud suits on next table rather compromised our evening.
Dined at our favourite date place for our first anniversary and were not disappointed. Great meat, scallops were wonderful and so was the half a lobster. Their Malbec is always a winner.
Had a lovely meal. Great steaks. Staff very helpful.
Perfect food, even better staff
Took our 5 week old for her first meal out.
Staff were very accommodating.
No beef carpaccio for starter?! Atmosphere a little subdued due to WC SF, service slow to start for a quiet restaurant but got better. Food ok, although sweet potato was on the hard side. Last visit to Guildhall was outstanding, this time fell quite a way short.
The food was well cooked and delicious. The service was attentive but allowed space for consideration of the menu and conversation. It was just right for our 30 30th anniversary.
Being a long time patron I knew what to expect and booked a table for my partner's birthday via Opentable and left a request for a special dessert to be arranged for her. The waiters did a fantastic job of keeping it sly (even had me convinced that they'd forgotten for a split second) and she was over the moon.
We’ve been making our way through all Hawksmoors in London, and booked this for a 30th birthday treat. By far this is one of the best we’ve been too, we went when it was really quiet which was nice ☺️ The waitress was nice and attentive, and as a surprise they had actually put “happy birthday” in chocolate with a candle on my partners pudding, was not expecting but was a real nice touch! Food was a carnivores heaven!! So yeah would defo go again 👍🏻!
