Chicken Tikkka Trio
A combination of three classic chicken tikkas. Malai Tikka (cream & cheese), Hari Mirch Tikka (green marinade made with mint-n-coriander & green chilli) & Zafrani Murgh Tikka (classic yoghurt marinade with saffron). (House special)
Goanche Shuktache Kodii with Okra
Kings prawns cooked in fresh coconut and home made spices and finished with okra commonly. known as Goan prawn curry. (House special)
Absolutely fantastic food. Service could be improved by taking drinks order on arrival and not waiting til we had to call staff over to order food
Very disappointing about Covid Social distancing - I had to demand that other diners were not placed close to us. The tables were far too close together and there didn’t seem to be enough awareness of what was necessary to ensure safe dining
Excellent food, not your ordinary Indian fare but very interesting and varied. Nice service and altogether a pleasant experience.
Delicious tasty and unusual dishes. Nicely presented
A gem in Belsize Park !
Excellent and the owner was so involved and catered
to our wishes !
The Okra was excellent besides other items .
Will definitely plan to go again and will highly recommend
the restaurant to all who enjoy Sub-continent cusine
The unique taste of Hazara is always a culinary treat and tonight was no exception! The Kerala fish curry was amazing, the tamarind stands out in the sauce.
The food and service were really excellent, and I would certainly recommend this restaurant
First time visit here while staying at the Premier Inn overnight down the road Hampstead Heath. Read reviews on Trip Advisor and everyone raving about it so had to try. Was not disapointted at all, best curry had in my life - yes that good! Ordered starter chicken tikka trio and popadoms and was awesome.. chicken so nice and tender. Main course ordered their special dish which was so tasty and flavorsome.. no colurings or sugar added and tastes so fresh... 10/10! Service was very welcoming too and nothing too much when asked for. We even spoke with the owner towards the end of our meal who is also the chef and he was so nice. Must visit when in the area.. we will be back again for sure ... amazing! :-)
Friendly staff. Excellent drink list. India cuisine lover must visit.
The food in this restaurant is delicious. Really good regional Indian food, carefully cooked and presented. The service is very good. It is ordinarily good value but with the Eat out to help out discount, the value was sensational. I highly recommend.
As a vegetarian I found the menu very disappointing as they do not serve a vegetarian currie. The only choices I had were from the side dishes
Gracious service, delicious food. Really warm, lovely room.
seated in the corridor for the toilet, yes my chair was the actual corridor, not on the side, in the middle. tried to change our seats to be not in the toilet, and they said no. Suppose some other 2 seater group requested the only table that was not in the corridor. awful service, awful attitude. no respect.
Always bring our visiting families here for dinner. Food is amazing and service is great.
The food was fantastic but the service wasn’t of the same standard.
Sublime food, beautifully prepared and presented.
Slightly odd service. Orders taken but sighed at when asking for a pause between courses. Not an issue and shrugged it off, but unexpected and unwarranted.
Peaceful decor and warm reception from staff.
Sea bass and halibut on offer in addition to the ubiquitous tilapia. Wide range of interesting vegetarian dishes including a very attractive and tasty starter platter. Easy parking. Overall 5 stars!
Indian traditional food. Good prices and amazing food
Delicious food excellent service and very pleasant atmosphere.
We always enjoy eating here. Food is very good indeed; the staff engaging and helpful. Portions are generous -- like people at another table, we took food home with us and ate well the next day.
The waiter and chef could not have been more accommodating about our likes and dislikes. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was delicious!!!
Good Indian meal in a nice setting. We really enjoyed both the konkan chicken curry and curried lamb shank we had for mains and the gulab jamun desert. Plenty of option on the menu, including vegetarian dishes. We ate here on a Saturday evening and would definitely recommend booking as they were turning people away.
Went on a recommendation of a friend, was not disappointed. Excellent spices in the main curries. Would definitely eat here again
Wonderful. One of the best Indian restaurants in London.
Good as ever. New menu. Nice touch when Chef vsited table
Hidden gem! Fantastic local restaurant. Everything delicious but especially the prawn and Sea-bass dishes. Chicken tikka trio also great. The staff are so attentive and the restaurant is lovely and intimate. Would highly recommend!
Excellent food and service, very reasonable price, very quiet place. Hazara really is one of the best Indian restaurants I went to in London. I recommend it!
Great food, the chef personally made the effort to come and speak with us about our food choices. Great food and great service, highly recommended.
To be honest the food was ok bearing in mind where the location of the restaurant is I do think they are missing a trick. Food has the capability of being at Trishna standard but let's itself down by serving lamb chops that were fatty and overdone-I was wondering what was French trim about the chops but anyway clearly I have been spoiled.
The chicken curry was nice but the star dish for me was the aubergine-not sure the £80 bill justifies the aubergine. Oh and how can an Indian restaurant not have decent raita?
Service was very disappointing not very engaging bearing in mind 4 waiters and restaurant half full??? Sorry but won't be going back.
Great service, lovely food...Hazara is so much more than your local Indian restaurant.
Everything was flavorful and we had a terrific evening!
The place was closed despite a reservation being confirmed...
Great food but service was a bit slow and some staff were quite miserable! Smile! Accommated gluten free requests well. Ambience lets it down quite a bit as it was quite cold- please turn the heating up. Also lighting not quite right so isn't a warm, cosy atmosphere.
Unusual Indian food and menu; quite sophisticated and very enjoyable. Fairly pricey for curry, but worth the extra
Potentially very good food but needs more attention to detail. Spoiled by poor service; we were made to feel unwelcome. Expensive for the quality
The quality of food was fine but the service was extremely slow. Although the restaurant was full and very busy with the take-out orders, the staff were super friendly and still smiling! However we had to wait for our main meals to arrive for about 1:20 hrs. Obviously the kitchen could not cope with a full house!
The food and service were excellent. The decor is very modern.
We were the only diners (end of half term probably why) hence lower score for ambience. Staff outnumbered us so but awkward in a space this size.
Hazara is an old favourite of ours and the food is outstanding - only criticism would be that they should advise at order stage the dishes that are light on sauce. Rice was too dry to eat with the dishes we ordered and a side veg would have been better. I actually prefer Hazara because there are dishes like that so it only needs explanation not changing.
Smoked monkfish is a most have!
