As always amazing service and always such tasty dishes!!
We ordered coffees didn't get any milk for a long time. The coffee isn't very good and I always regret ordering it
A nice experience with great food. Would definitely recommend.
Overpriced for what it is - the service wasn’t great (had to ask to order mains, different person each time who wasn’t sure if we had ordered things etc).
Pleased to HRB see still very good. Would recommend.
Lovely breakfast- very generous portions. Took our 3 young children, waiting staff were lovely with them, and food well suited. A great way to start the weekend.
Good breakfast place. Good food & service. Only negative- sometimes you can smell cigarette smoke coming from outside. They should ban smoking completely
On arrival, having requested a table outside in advance, we were offered one inside and in a poky corner. Thankfully, after being a little disappointed, we are moved outside immediately one became availalble. The staff were very kind and attentive, fixing a wobbly table and bringing gluten-free bread for one of our party.
We all ended up going for the Bavette steak which was delicious.
Pretty good, but there was a vibe of recovering from an earlier busy spell. We waited 10 minutes after being seated for drinks and food orders. The waiters were friendly but clearly a bit run ragged from an earlier busy spell. Food was delicious. Would go again and sense check the service ahead of being a fan or a detractor.
As usual the welcome was warm, The maitre d’ Ben new all of our names. He was very accommodating when I had a personal request. The waiting staff are excellent, always with a cheerful smile, polite and helpful. Delighted.
We had brunch on a lovely sunny morning and the place was buzzing but both staff and customers were complying with COVID rules of distance. The food was ok, my toast was difficult to cut maybe a better knife? We ordered black pudding which was dry and tough and again difficult to cut. My partners eggs benedict was much more successful. Coffees were delicious. I would though like to give a huge thanks to the staff, all without exception helpful, efficient and very friendly. The front of house lady was really good, she managed a constant queue of people all wanting to sit outside. She seated all of us in turn and with no fuss but made us feel very welcome.
Took a friend for her birthday. Slightly worried as tables very close together. Service and food was very good.
Fantastic food, excellent service - couldn’t ask for more! Will definitely be back.
Lovely interiors, fab food (especially the starters and nibbles), and superb service. One of my fave spots in Chiswick!
Really lovely atmosphere. Attentive service, you could
Tell there is a smile behind those masks.
Great value for food and enjoyed my evening
Given a choice of table and lovely service along with delicious cocktails (picante de la casa is excellent ) and food
Excellent welcome and service. The set meal offered on weekdays is particularly good value. I had ham hock terrine followed by bavette steak and then chocolate mousse all for £17. Very fairly priced sides and drinks. Attentive and charming serving staff!
Very nice place. It can be too busy at times.
The service was slow and inattentive
and the live musicians were so loud, we couldn’t hear ourselves or the waiting staff. Not a good experience and not a place I’d return to.
Really delicious food and great ambience, will definitely eat here again
friendly atmosphere and consistently superb quality food and drink, despite these difficult times
I was looking forward to eating here, having often walked past this buzzing brasserie. Sadly my high expectations were not met. Service was efficient in terms of getting us sat down and served although the constant upselling was tiresome. Despite a midday booking only the brunch menu was available with the accent on breakfast rather then lunch, a limited choice of meals. Smoothies were good. My Bavette with fries was fine. My dining partner had the Chicken Milanese which arrived cold, wearing the after effects of a long spell in the deep fat fryer. It was Wetherspoons style fare at high end prices. This rather curtailed our appetite for dessert. This is one of those places where its USP is its location and clientele consiting of the beautiful people of Chiswick. Not one for food lovers.
Good coffee and food.
Food was good
Excellent service by the staff. Welcoming and had a can do demeanour. Food was delicious save the peppercorn sauce was salty and bit generous with the butter in the side dishes. Perhaps clients could be asked how they prefer their salt and oil levels need to be. Appreciated the price redactions on food but wine is a bit over priced especially when might be enough stock in the cellar to be consumed.
Very attentive service. Good food. Good buzz.
I had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. The toast was burnt on one side and I don’t think it was sourdough. The eggs just Ok. All in all a disappointing meal.
Food arrived very quickly. It was a bit rushed. But all waiters wore masks and I was asked about my allergies so that is great. Food was good and tasty. Would like to have made more of an evening of it though.
Just always great atmosphere great value and great food
The only negative was we were seated right in front of the kitchen so it was very noisy with all the servers coming behind us to collect the food to deliver. Communication between the kitchen staff and waiting staff over the pass was loud we could hear everything being said
A waiter was horrible and not polite when asking for the bill
Sunday breakfast was promptly served (waiting staff very good) but the food was barely lukewarm, bread was hardly toasted, sausage & bacon cold. Social distancing measures & hygiene were very good.
The place feels unloved, grubby and very disappointing for the money. They seriously need to given everything a freshen up including decor, lighting, menu, furniture and general attitude of the staff. Last time I plan to dine here.
Very regular customers - brilliant service as always. Slightly slower as it was so busy but totally understandably.
Food, as good as ever and arrived very quickly. In particular the bavette steak which was actually a large flank steak with incredible flavour - brilliant value
Service was slow. Food pricing high for what it was. Noise level too high. Lighting too dim. Menu had to be accessed via coding on mobile phone which we couldn't work. Had to go to website to see menu. Shan't bother to go again.
Service was good however, my main course (fish and chips), the fish was of very poor quality.
Chose outdoor seating on what must have been the windiest day of the summer. Good food & service.
Very overpriced and the inside of the venue is scruffy and grubby.. Service is pleasant howver . Food ok but not fantastic.
Visited the place to take advantage of the 50% discount. Had squid, bavette steak & pineapple tart tatin, which were acceptable but not great. With 2 glasses of wine the bill came to over $110 for 2 adults & 1 child, which was quite high for an average outing.
nice food, but over priced for what it was. Should have gone for the set lunch which would have been better value. Separate items off menu really added up, Attentive service.
