High Road Brasserie
Delicious food and really high quality service with a great atmosphere.
Only thing was - maybe don't keep the big sliding doors/frontage open at 10pm when a cold wind is blowing in! Once the sun had gone it was noticeably freezing into the restaurant, I wanted to put on a coat. I imagine they're great during a sunny day though.
Birthday celebration nice and chilled
Very good food but quite a bit of what I fancied was off of the menu.
Always a safe bet!! Good food and friendly staff!!
Always come here when we have friends and family staying for breakfast, excellent food and helpful professional staff.
I thought the service was ok, took a while to clear our plates but we didn't mind as we were talking. The staff were friendly and nice though. The food very average, got the moules mariniere and it came with chips that were over done. The mussels were a little tasteless so didn't finish it. I wouldn't return or recommend it if I'm being honest.
Consistently good. The markup on bottles of wine is overdone.
Very average/poorCaesar salad with limp lettuce and old bacon. The extra for chicken arrived with a few dry cold (clearly pre cooked) chicken strips. Soggy cold chips. Overall disappointing and vastly overpriced.
Nice location, nice venue. Starter and desert was good, main was average - ordered the burger well done but it was very dry.
1.5 hour limit for the table was silly. Luckily they weren’t busy and the service wasn’t that speedy so we stayed for 2.5hours!
We haven't been here for 6 years since having kids but it was exactly the same as its always been. Such a great restaurant.
Ok but food a let down. Greasy cheese on truffle fries - gross. Steak Tartare tasteless. Fish greasy. More style over substance but cheap for a Chiswick High Road location.
Great place for Sunday lunch. Good food and good service.
Great coffee. Good fish cakes. Average service.
Great service from the manager, he was extremely helpful.
We went for ‘steak night’ on Saturday. Phenomenal steak and brilliant value..... the service was excellent. I would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!
Chef was very accommodating to my dietary requirements and the food was excellent. Service was very slow and not brilliant.
Our group experienced very slow service. They were there for a business lunch and time is important when you have to get back to the office. They arrived by 12:15, but had not received their main course by 13:15.
Excellent food. Highly recommended the fish and chips.
Great food quality amazing service. My daughter has a gluten intolerance and they were very helpful.
Outstanding breakfast and great service, highly recommend this place for breakfast/brunch
Always a delight to dine here. Food delicious as always and service impeccable. They noticed it was my birthday as I opened some presents there, so my dessert came with Happy Birthday written on the plate with a lot candle on my dessert! A lovely touch. Highroad Brasserie is a firm favourite of ours.
Really poor visit. Shambles of an order - kitchen seemed out of everything. Delayed food. Missing food. Lied to about availability of food. Sat next to the kitchen we saw multiple orders returned in a 2 hour visit.
A shame because Soho House group typically better than this
Vibrant place and great food.
Very attentive service. Loved it.
The t-bone is really good and easily makes for 3persons. Very nice atmosphere and attentive staff.
Our regular "Go to" restaurant in Chiswick since 2014. Always enjoy coming here!
We were lucky to get a table outside. Very buzzy, great location. Joe, our waiter was exceptional.
Great and simple food, great atmosphere and service is just the right balance .
Food was ok, could have been hotter.
Fresh mint tea was fine.
Service was passable
Waitress insisted on calling us “darling” throughout the meal, which I found very unprofessional. She then overcharged us at the end of the meal.
Food was okay. I didn’t finish my starter as is was flavourless, main was quite nice.
We were asked to leave the table ahead of the hour and a half allocated (this is understandable, but I think a more professional way of dealing with this would be to present the bill and allow guest to leave naturally in the first instance).
Great restaurant, but the service was really disappointing.
Unlikely to return in a hurry, which is a shame as it’s local and would be a perfect “regular” spot for us.
Well the date wasn’t so good, but the food made up for that :) we had rib eye steak cooked to perfection, with a side of truffle fries and spinach. A solid meal, but everyone else’s food looked great too. The service is also great with friendly staff.
Great service and drinks.
Steak wasn’t cooked as requested however didn’t raise this with the establishment. Will do next time if repeated.
Good atmosphere with a varied menu choice which can cater for those with dietary requirements. Overall a nice place to eat in Chiswick
Great restaurant, always busy but the food never disappoints. Menu changes during the year too which is great for locals.
Love the High Road Brasserie on Sundays and Mondays when locals with the special key ring can get 50% off the total menu. Normally it's a bit high priced for me, but it's a great bargain with that deal! The food is consistenly very good, and the service usually is too (although I've had one, horrific, inattentive waiter there in the past). My only complaint is that it's INCREDIBLY noisy, so difficult to hear each other - I wouldn't go here if you wanted to have any sort of serious or important conversations. They just need a few rugs/curtains/pillows, or other sort of soft furnishings to absorb the sound and it would be great! All in all though, I do like it and recommend it!
I love the HRB, and this trip lived up to previous expectations. The host on duty was attentive and friendly, and allowed us to decorate the table for a Birthday. The food was lovely and out quickly.
We had a lovely roast beef dinner excellent service.
We were served near raw vegetables with our Sunday roast. Upon alerting the waitress, we were made to feel that we were causing a nuisance by requesting something edible. The manager advised that he would get a replacement which never arrived. We alerted the waitress who simply acknowledged. We received no discount on our bill or any apology. Service here is always hit and miss and is the food. It really is a shame.
We put at a table beside door to bathroom even though I’d asked for a table by the window -which felt like the worst seat in the restaurant even though the restaurant was not full. I ordered the steak off the grill menu and was told it came with chips. My friend ordered the chicken off the grill menu and was told that didn’t come with chips! This makes no sense! Both items were from the section called Grill and there was no mention of the items coming with anything. To be consistent avoiding all items in this section either come with chips or come without? Not a great experience for a soho house restaurant!
The service was terrible, all the waiting staff repeatedly ignored us even though it was very quiet when we first arrived at 12pm. When we complained about our salad’s being freezing cold, the waitress didn’t apologise at all, and just said that ‘they were following safely guidelines’ and all food had to be stored in the fridge until the last moment. You aren’t usually served near frozen beetroot at a restaurant!
Monday nights are busy and noisy but great value if you're a Brasserie Friend. The food is great, although I think the salads need to be looked at again. The once delicious Nicoise salad is now tinned tuna and a pile of lettuce and my friend's chicken, bacon, avo salad looked pretty unappetising, better stick to the Brasserie classics I think. But still can't be beaten for value on a Monday night if you don't mind the noise and crowds.
