High Road Brasserie
I am a frequent in High Rd House Brasserie and it was amazing to see the staff we know back .
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner
Wonderful crispy bacon for breakfast.
The service was wonderful. Very friendly and also attentive without being overbearing. The food was simple but lovely and not too overpriced, particularly for Chiswick. Sat outside which I highly recommend as it’s far nicer than inside.
Will be back soon.
Great to be back and just as good as ever! Definitely go
Great breakfast / brunch at High Road brasserie. Food was excellent and really good value with the VAT saving. Table outside was beautiful and they made loads of extra effort for our special occassion.
Lovely. Relaxed and sincere service. They got my burger order wrong, hence one less star, but they insisted on not charging for my dessert. Definitely a favourite spot.
It was a lovely day to have lunch - sunny and warm! Also made the atmosphere amazing! Lunch was good - was yearning for the pre COVID scenario...but hey, still good!
Lovely breakfast, excellent service great value for money. Will definitely be back. Thank you
The service was wonderful and fast. The food was delicious. Would highly recommend.
Nice ambiance. Attentive service. Felt Covid-safe (airy, spacious, staff wearing masks, etc.) Very good starters and steaks. Milanese was overcooked. Excellent wine and properly mixed Aperol spritz. Prepare to pay £50 per person approximately for a two-course meal with sides and wine/drinks.
A good spot for any time of day, especially with the discounts currently being offered
Lovely restaurant great location nice food. service just right will definitely recommend/return.
Wonderful as ever! Lovely food, excellent service, and felt very safe too.
I love this brasserie and a table outside makes is fun.
Food was great as was the service!
If you have a couple of loud obnoxious guests ruining everyone else’s experience please ask them to behave. No one needs to go to a restaurant and listen to a self important bloke talk loudly at his mobile phone for half an hour and then leave.
The food was fantastic and great value for money. Thank you for a wonderful breakfast!
As always a great experience! Super friendly and good food ..
Is it usual to be served tinned tuna in a salad niçoise and to offered no dressing at all?
The result - a very dry salad and one I could have made at home for less than £2.
In the event my very first meal our since March was very average and with no drinks or dessert cost me £50 for 2. I won't be going back in hurry.
I’m a regular to High Road House and, for the third time, first after lockdown, I was utterly disappointed. Why?
1. The Food ordered on the menu was not available
2. I ordered the escargot and one was missing the meat
3. The bread usually provided - thick rustic bread - was replaced with ‘off the shelf’ baguette...
4. The staff had no clue as to serve a table... ie pouring water across a guest, and like a savage I must admit. One member of Staff came for one course and was so utterly professional! Thank you.
5. No drinks menu at all.. I asked ‘what whiskey do you have’ and the reply was ‘well, what you looking for?’ No price lists or real menu and £22 for a 15ml of VSOP Remy Martin was shocking.
6. We were left unattended to for much of the evening.
In conclusion, it wasn’t at all or even attempted to be anything like it was pre lockdown. The consequence is that it will be a very long time before I return. I would advise you to think of alternative venues, under the current management structure, and hope things change back to how it used to be, albeit tarnished post COVID!
HRH... my love for you is fading fast, please resuscitate it! BecaUse deep down I really still love you! But for how long under the current structure, I’m not sure!
A lovely treat - really helpful staff and a nice atmosphere. Plenty of menu options for gluten and dairy free which is always welcome.
I love, love, love High Road Brasserie. I love the decor and ambiance, the view, wine list and cocktails. However the service was a major miss this trip. Won’t stop me coming but it’s not the level I expect anyone associates with the price tag.
We really appreciated the protective measures taken eg face masks for staff, hand gel, digital menus and social distancing. We felt safe and will definitely return. Thank you
Terrible service, staff running in all directions, unorganised. Stressful experience. Smell of smoke throughout.
Very tasty vegan set menu
Absolutely lovely sitting outside at the front of the Brasserie. Food surpassed expectations and the set menu is super value!
Fantastic as always, sat outside which was even better. I don't think there is a better Tbone steak in Chiswick and the bernaise sauce is fab. Wine excellent service amazing
Tables too close and service not great
Best restaurant in chiswick!
I eat here regularly and always feel welcome. Last night was the first time since lockdown and I think they are managing the distancing etc pretty well. Wasn't crowded, staff wearing masks etc. Food was good but menu was restricted. Menu reverts to normal (full menu) on 8 july. I will be going back again soon. Glad they are open again!
So glad this place is back open! But such a shame they have muzzled all their staff with face masks. When I go out of the house I consent to there being risks and closing to go to a restaurant even more so. At times because of the mask it was hard to understand what the waiter was saying and because of social distancing at times the place lacked its usual ambience. Look forward to when these ridiculous rules are scrapped and the place is like it used to be. Very grateful though to still go there and support a favourite restaurant of mine.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, as per government guidline's - plenty of spacing between diners! Tha calamri fritti was tasty, so was the grilled bavette. Excellent service and friendly staff.
Food and service always consistently good each time
Had a lovely evening here. Cocktails were amazing as always. Staff are so nice and friendly and really looked after us. No complaints at all.
Always great service and food. Great to be back :)
Delicious as always!
The restaurant was busy for a Monday evening and the noise levels were bordering on uncomfortable and it was difficult for the people in my party to be heard.
The food was tasty but I am sceptical of their idea of portion sizes. My friends ordered the Chicken pie for 2 and the pie that was brought to the table was quite small and not a lot of filling in the pie itself.
I will give it another go but based on my experience, I don't think it is worth it.
Thank you again for a lovely afternoon. My friends from Putney love coming back! Lovely birthday chocolates for my friend's big day.
Loud noise with live music certainly not suitable for an already loud Resturant.....
Also dont expect to be kept waiting for a table once i have booked!
The friendly staff always help make this local Brasserie a stand up. Good for work lunches and people watching in good measure.
The Italian waitress was absolutely fantastic extremely attentive efficient friendly you couldn’t ask for better everyone at the table remarked on how fantastic she was
Food was very good
It was very noisy but the food and in particular the service made up for this
