Nice weekday dinner for something different. Tasting menu was well paced and explained. The octopus and the duck were the highlights of the menu.

This place was enjoyable, attentive service and good food.
It wasn't busy during the weekends so I assume this is why it is now closed.

Generally a beautiful and ambient traditional Chinese restaurant, but the price was a tad over what I expected. Highly recommended and will visit again! :)

We had the 68 pound Open Table special offer with 5 courses and a cocktail. Food was all delicious, Peking duck being out of this world. The prices though are very very expensive for small portions. I had to fill up on Maltesers at cinema afterwards. We spent 120 a head the previous night at restaurant story but, for what you got, it was a far better value meal.

The food was fabulous. Since we don't eat beef there was a bit too much scallop instead, but it was cooked to perfection so we couldn't have asked for more.

A brilliant tasting menu with tasting drinks that moved away from just wines, going into sake and whiskey.

The theatre of the chef coming out to slice the roasted duck was a real highlight.

It was let down by the loud music, which made it very difficult to hear the waiter/sommelier and your dining partner

I went to HKK to celebrate the anniversary with my partner as we had previously liked Hakkasan restaurant and thought that its sister venue would be just as good.
Unfortunately, the food selection was not as wide as in Hakkasan, which was a bit of a disappointment. Also, the food portions were on the small side for the price that we paid.
However, the food was cooked to perfection as you would expect from a restaurant from this price range.

Probably the best chinese meal of my life, way better than the Shang Palace in Paris (1 michelin star).
Every meal was a delight, from the dumplings to the traditional Pekin duck.
Very attentive service, only minus : it was too cold inside, Who needs air con in a city like London anyways.

First time at HKK, we didn't realise the only choice was the tasting menu but it didn't really matter (apart from the fact we realised after we accepted that we didn't actually know the cost, but we could have asked!) - food was tasty and quite light, we particularly enjoyed the dim sum and the soup. It wasn't particularly Asian, more a fusion style but it generally worked well. It is quite expensive (I think £95pp for the tasting menu we found out at the end!) so really more a special occasion place - although apparently they have a good set lunch menu for around £30. Would return but perhaps not for a while. Oh and wine was good, sommelier was helpful and recommended some good pairings.

The food was really amazing, but I just was a little disappointed with the portion sizes. The chef brings out the truly outstanding duck and you get a taste of 3 different cuts. But it's just not enough. Amazing food but slightly disappointed that I felt hungry after the dining event.

I have been to this place multiple times. The service and their food are always excellent. Unfortunately, the last time I visit for the duck champagne set, the crispy skin that I have been spreading words to my friends are quite disappointing. It was really chewy and noting close to the word "crispy". Other than that the food taste great and I love the new dessert that come with the set.

This was a very special experience. I was seeing an old friend who had received some bad news and I wanted to take him somewhere special to help take his mind off it. This was just the place. The aromatherapy, the beautifully arranged dishes, the charming service and the overall feelgood factor was very healing. This is an expensive restaurant but you pay for the experience, and that exceeded all expectations. We will be back for the full tasting menu when my friend has completed his chemotherapy.

As my client said, "A most luxurious lunch." Finest Asian fare in London, better than Budakkan...pricey but so good. If you are veggie only, the best Vegan dim sum I have ever tasted - did not miss the pork or prawns. Freshest Chinese broccoli, just like Mom used to make! French service with great Asian cuisine - toptastic!

Had the full tasting menu with drinks. Simply awesome, revelations and highlights include (but aren't restricted to) oolong tea with hibiki whiskey, the duck, the tongue and the dumplings!

Not the cheapest night out, but well worth springing for the matched drinks!
