The sole 8 course tasting menu at HKK changes regularly, illustrating chef Tong’s passion for creating complex flavoured Chinese dishes with a modern flair. With a philosophy that tells the story of both ancient and contemporary China through reviving and modernising recipes, chef Tong and his team use the state-of-the-art kitchen as a culinary laboratory to develop unique dishes.

You will be there at least 2 hours. Don't be in a rush, this an experience you will remember for ever. Totally worth every penny, or pence ;)
Best Peking Duck in England and Singapore. Dessert was also fantastic.
Overall a really nice lunch with lots of flavour and fabulous service
Nice weekday dinner for something different. Tasting menu was well paced and explained. The octopus and the duck were the highlights of the menu.
This place was enjoyable, attentive service and good food.
It wasn't busy during the weekends so I assume this is why it is now closed.
Generally a beautiful and ambient traditional Chinese restaurant, but the price was a tad over what I expected. Highly recommended and will visit again! :)
Great service great food
Summer tasting menu (Xiao Shu) is amazing. Wagyu and scallop dishes are astonishing!
Exquisite food and fabulous service. I'm still dreaming about the dim sum. I will definitely return, thank you!
We had the 68 pound Open Table special offer with 5 courses and a cocktail. Food was all delicious, Peking duck being out of this world. The prices though are very very expensive for small portions. I had to fill up on Maltesers at cinema afterwards. We spent 120 a head the previous night at restaurant story but, for what you got, it was a far better value meal.
Had the 5 courses tasting menu - it was delicious and of perfect size and variateur
Will definitely come back
Nice place! Third time in this year
The food was fabulous. Since we don't eat beef there was a bit too much scallop instead, but it was cooked to perfection so we couldn't have asked for more.
the food was wonderful, wine lovely and service outstanding
Great food and a very personal service. Loved it and would recommend.
My third visit and as usual HKK has delivered a taste sensation, opening the mind to new flavours. Wonderful service for a weekend. I would highly recommend this place for fusion Asian food.
A brilliant tasting menu with tasting drinks that moved away from just wines, going into sake and whiskey.
The theatre of the chef coming out to slice the roasted duck was a real highlight.
It was let down by the loud music, which made it very difficult to hear the waiter/sommelier and your dining partner
I went to HKK to celebrate the anniversary with my partner as we had previously liked Hakkasan restaurant and thought that its sister venue would be just as good.
Unfortunately, the food selection was not as wide as in Hakkasan, which was a bit of a disappointment. Also, the food portions were on the small side for the price that we paid.
However, the food was cooked to perfection as you would expect from a restaurant from this price range.
I really enjoyed our meal at hkk, I wasn't expecting it to be as lovely as it was. We had the 3 course menu with pairing drinks for each course. The staff were great, very knowledgeable and attentive.
Probably the best chinese meal of my life, way better than the Shang Palace in Paris (1 michelin star).
Every meal was a delight, from the dumplings to the traditional Pekin duck.
Very attentive service, only minus : it was too cold inside, Who needs air con in a city like London anyways.
Great food, as always. I have visited several times and the food never disappoints.
Set lunch for £35 for 3 courses was great value. The sweet & sour prawn main course was lovely as was the chicken dish.
Second visit to this fabulous restaurant for our son's birthday. Creative vegetarian tasting menu which was beautifully presented and service was top notch!
Absolutely beautiful meal with sensational service.
Couldn't have loved the experience more.
Been a couple of times now and does not disappoint. If you are after a fantastic special meal then this is one you have to try. not the cheapest in the world but well worth it.
Lovely service, excellent food!
As always, an excellent meal in a relaxing and comfortable setting where the food was exquisite, the cocktails clever and well balanced and the service team on point.
First time at HKK, we didn't realise the only choice was the tasting menu but it didn't really matter (apart from the fact we realised after we accepted that we didn't actually know the cost, but we could have asked!) - food was tasty and quite light, we particularly enjoyed the dim sum and the soup. It wasn't particularly Asian, more a fusion style but it generally worked well. It is quite expensive (I think £95pp for the tasting menu we found out at the end!) so really more a special occasion place - although apparently they have a good set lunch menu for around £30. Would return but perhaps not for a while. Oh and wine was good, sommelier was helpful and recommended some good pairings.
The food was really amazing, but I just was a little disappointed with the portion sizes. The chef brings out the truly outstanding duck and you get a taste of 3 different cuts. But it's just not enough. Amazing food but slightly disappointed that I felt hungry after the dining event.
I have been to this place multiple times. The service and their food are always excellent. Unfortunately, the last time I visit for the duck champagne set, the crispy skin that I have been spreading words to my friends are quite disappointing. It was really chewy and noting close to the word "crispy". Other than that the food taste great and I love the new dessert that come with the set.
The quantities were quite small... food is great but toi expensive for what it is.
Food was nice but nothing special and not worth the price. We were still hungry after three "courses"! Staff were great though.
This was a very special experience. I was seeing an old friend who had received some bad news and I wanted to take him somewhere special to help take his mind off it. This was just the place. The aromatherapy, the beautifully arranged dishes, the charming service and the overall feelgood factor was very healing. This is an expensive restaurant but you pay for the experience, and that exceeded all expectations. We will be back for the full tasting menu when my friend has completed his chemotherapy.
As my client said, "A most luxurious lunch." Finest Asian fare in London, better than Budakkan...pricey but so good. If you are veggie only, the best Vegan dim sum I have ever tasted - did not miss the pork or prawns. Freshest Chinese broccoli, just like Mom used to make! French service with great Asian cuisine - toptastic!
Excellent experience - top notch cuisine and great service.
Amazing food and superlative service. Second time we go and we were not disappointed!
Really enjoyed it although the set menu was definitely lower quality than a la carte (I have since had a la carte)
top class chinese restaurant, dim sum was superb, the duck is the highlight of the show, each course off evening taster menu did not disapoint. great cocktails too fav. being the grasshopper, only had this as a shot before and was divine- one for the mint lovers
Excellent experience, set menu and wine pairings were fantastic, service was extremely good
Had the full tasting menu with drinks. Simply awesome, revelations and highlights include (but aren't restricted to) oolong tea with hibiki whiskey, the duck, the tongue and the dumplings!
Not the cheapest night out, but well worth springing for the matched drinks!
