What Insiders Are Saying
Everyone needs an easy any time restaurant, and on Great Eastern Street, the Hoxton Grill does nicely.. Hit it for brunch or American comfort food.
We ate here early evening en route to a music gig. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was excellent and really good value. I’d come back again if ever we’re back in this part of London.
yes love the atmosphere and the food is really tasty!
Had a great evening food was lovely staff where so helpful & after we had eaten we wasn’t hushed off the table & was able to enjoy drinks sitting down.
What a great day. Loved it. We all Enjoyed it so much perfect for a Sunday dinner. Love the photo booth
This was my second time at Hoxton Grill and I wasn’t disappointed. I love the place. Best drinks and cocktails in town, delicious food, Morden decor, nice service. I’m having friends coming over from abroad and Hoxton will be a place to take them to.
There is a way for making sure a first visitor does not come back for seconds - give them the worst table available - the service team was amazing though- and i do like the hotel very much - C
The chicken wings were the highlight of the menu - highly recommended!
Really nice place, good food and great staff..super recommended
The menu needs to be more detailed as some epecifics of the food are not included. The ambience and the place are really nice.
The food at the Hoxton Grill is always excellent. Can recommend their breakfast or roast which is massive and well put together. They don't ever try to hustle you out to get the table back for another booking. Many east London restaurants I go to expect you to be gone within 90 minutes which sort of hampers the enjoyment.
They have a good range of non alcoholic drinks as well as cocktails and the staff always seem very switched on and happy to help.
Great atmosphere and lovely, helpful staff. Thank you
Very disappointed overall. The service was very poor and the food was not of good standard. When we were paying we realised that they had over charged us £50.
The Mac and Cheese was excellent. Great food, and a nice ambience.
Ate here on Saturday night and loved every single minute! It's loud and brash - great atmosphere and superb food. It has a really cool vibe but with the benefit of great service delivered by a super friendly team. If you're looking for somewhere peaceful, this isn't the place for you. Great cocktails, good tunes - we'll be back!
The place is quite nice, the food was pretty good. But the service was not great.
A busy vibe, for people who want a night out. Difficult to get the attention of the staff and place An order, but once we had done this food arrived quickly and was tasty.
Not a place to eat if you want to talk to you eating companions.
Food was very nice also they forgot to bring the starter. We were full so its was okay.
Not whole menu available, different menu at restaurant than shown on opentable, disappointing
I have been to the Hoxton Grill many times over the years and I really didn’t feel blown away this time. The menus online were not available as our table was booked for 11am and so only breakfast items. The children’s menu was not all available either and the portions were fairly small. Little things like cold toast and no butter until we asked really irritate me when paying London prices. It was a special family brunch occasion and I felt overall fairly unimpressed.
It was good overall, the food was decent and the drinks were amamzing. Loved the environment and the DJ was on point! Would deffo go again!
Fabulous restaurant with a great atmosphere and vibe.
The food in the restaurant was amazing but the laptops and crowd in the bar totally killed the vibe.
A very good Sunday roast - we chose the beef. I visit the hoxton often for food & drinks and it never disappoints.
I have been a few times and it never disappoints, we usually shop in London then head to the Hoxton as its literally 5mins cab back to Liverpool Street.
Staff, atmosphere, food great.
I have been to Hoxton Grill before on different places. I think the food didn't reach the quality as I have experienced before and the service was really bad. In fact quite unpleasent staff. You need to shape up.
We had a big group and the staff accommodated additional arrivals with no fuss and catered for the birthday requests with great care. Highly recommended
Really poor service seemingly due to being understaffed. The food was fine but chasing coffees and attention from waiting staff is not my idea of a relaxed Sunday brunch.
I had cod and sweet potato fries which was delicious. The ambience was good, although the volume of the background music was suddenly increased around 2pm, meaning it was difficult to hear the other people I was dining with. Also, the service was a little slow, as the waitress was nowhere to be seen to take our coffee order.
Amazing food, perfect and efficient service
Always happy to come for brunch and coffee can be lively place !
The food and service was very good and the atmosphere.
staff who dealt with table allocation were extremely rude and unhelpful. Sat two different couples before us who arrived 15 minutes after us. Unapproachable and were not friendly. However waiting staff were fantastic and definitely made up for this!
Great as always.
The service was extremely poor, very slow and the waitress was unapologetic. I was impressed with the host
Venue is very nice, service was ok but the food was awesome. Full English breakfast from the brunch/breakfast menu was fantastic. Coffee was also extremely well made and tasted great.
Very poor food ok service terrible
I used to come to Hoxton Grill for breakfast often when my sister worked nearby, but hadn't been back for a few years (although I have been back to the Hoxton hotel itself for events and drinks). I was very pleased to find that the quality of food the menu has been expanded to include just about every current breakfast buzzword - protein bowls, chia seed pudding and turmeric lattes are all present and correct - but there's also a reassuring list of classics including full (and half!) English, and smoked salmon & scrambled eggs, which I had, and salt beef hash, which my friend ordered. Both were fantastic (although I could've done without the chopped dill on my salmon - I'm not a fan of herbs on breakfast foods) and very generous portions. We also enjoyed the freshly-squeezed juices and coffee, one suggestion for the restaurant would be to offer a cafetière or larger cup size as the Americanos were small. Service was excellent from our friendly waitress although it was difficult getting the bill, as is so often the case in many a busy restaurant.
All in all a great spot for breakfast, both for business and pleasure.
Average food, burger look good but was just nothing special, the meat was over cooked as well.
Always good to be back at the Hoxton and breakfast is one of my favourite times. Fairly quiet for a Saturday morning although the service was rather slow in spite of all the staff and the relatively few people. The food was great and I had to fight to keep my wife's hands off my hash browns; excellent smoothies too...
Excellent as always,I just love Hoxton grill will be coming back with more family and friends
