Not a very good choice on the menu’s, and drink cocktails not only poor for money but little choice. Overall experience poor
Excellent roof top restaurant. Staff were great and food was fab.
We had the pleasure of using the new roof terrace area. A great new space and will be fantastic in the summer (and virus free!)
Lovely waitress service, friendly and not overly attentive. Shared a porterhouse steak along with a couple of Old Fashioned's!
Theres nothing complicated about the grill. It's does what it says on the tin. Its not fine dining, just a nice place to catch up

One of the best places for a Sunday afternoon in East London. Very dog friendly (lobby area seating only) extremely friendly staff and good Sunday lunch menu. Great house wine and good cocktails!
Favourite London spot and amazing Sunday roast - food amazing, great service.
It wasn’t as good as we remembered. A lot of the items on the menu were already gone and since it was lot busier then usual with one day before lockdown, the service was slow.
Our food came before the drinks and the waitress forgot to bring our drinks over on the second round. We moved on from the service and still enjoyed a good night.
Great table, food and wine. We sat back, relaxed and allowed the staff to take care of us.

Food was good but ambiance was lacking as a bit too noisy.
Went for a business breakfast and ordered Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Egg on Sourdough. The portion size was generous and it tasted delicious.
The waitress was polite and we were served our food in good time.
We were both delighted not only from the ambient and great service, but also from the great quality of food and wine! Definitely going back again!
The only downfall was the wine’s temperature in one of the restaurant’s best bottles! Waitresses resolved this with a wine cooler though!
I had dinner with my sisters to celebrate a birthday, food and service was, as usual very good, waitress was extremely helpful. It would have been a far nicest experience if we didn’t feel like we were in an office, every table around us was occupied by people working on computers and zoom calls, would have been nicer if this happened in a dedicated area.

Head restaurant receptionist was quite rude to us, the tables in the restaurant are sticky and the menu prices are more in the restaurant than the online menu.
Great for a quick coffee in the sofa area, but I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant. I’ve had better breakfast experiences in a Weatherspoons.
Fantastic as always
Nice dining space and the food is well cooked, but the menu is not particularly innovative (especially for plant-based eaters). Perfect if you want standard Eggs Benedict or a Full English. Staff were friendly although asked a few too many times if we wanted anything else like they were trying to hurry us along, even though it was quiet and we were well within our two-hour table limit.

I didn’t get the choice whether to pay a service charge, it was just included in the bill on the card machine total. Customers should have the option before this happens...

We have always enjoyed our weekend vibes at the Hoxton Grill. For years now. But we were saddened to learn of the Hox Family key ring deals are ending. And actually makes it less affordable for us. We do hope to return soon but probably not as soon as we’d like. Thanks for having us for the good times xx

Service was good but the food was very disappointing. We ordered eggs royal and the eggs weren’t poached, sauce was thick and it was too salty. I really like the place and I’ve been there many times before but I wouldn’t come back for brunch.
I've been here a few times and enjoy the vibe. On this occasion security on the door were rude and dismissive , and the service inside the restaurant was lacking, table was wobbly and wasn't allowed to move. Food, value and ambience all good. I would still recommend and will be back. A couple bad eggs letting the team down on this instance
We loved it. The food was fresh and tasty. The ambiance was cosy with the indoor flowers. The staff was kind and welcoming. The service was spot on. We had a really good time definitely we will visit again. Thanks for the great experience.
Amazing food and Amazing atmosphere would defo recommend
It had been a while since I’d dined at The Hoxton, for obvious reasons, so it was nice to return to a familiar haunt.
The service was great. The waiters were friendly, attentive and observant; a quiet restaurant does that. The food is usually excellent but this time, considering they would’ve been at less than halve capacity, was average and COLD, well not as hot as food usually is when served straight from the kitchen.
I would usually send the meal back and complain, but we’re in a world where businesses are trying to survive, so it’s not too big a deal.
Arrived to find out there was no beef left I also requested to sit in the main dining area but was sat in what they call the garden which had no Atmosphere, the service took a while to take our order then to inform us there was only chicken left.
Great atmosphere, great food, could have done with a few more options on the menu. But great overall!
