Hugo's West Hollywood
Good food and hip atmosphere, populated with cool and beautiful people. We went at the tween time, between lunch and breakfast. They might have been in a shift tranisition period, with low staffing. But waited a LONG time to get service. But once we caught the waiter's attention, everything went well. My only complaint was that the full bar didn't have ginger beer, or copper cups; so couldn't make a proper Mule. The hostess had a billion dollar smile, and was both smart and friendly. That counts for a lot.
Very poor service
The Mary’s chicken was very dry and not up to Hugos standard
We waited a long time for it and we could not return it as we needed to leave early
Our server Chris was great
Some of the dishes my friends got tasted rubbery. The chef didn’t listen to changes to menu items. I got the vegan Mac n cheese. It was so dry and flavorless. I don’t think I would come back.
Sarah was outstanding
Great selections, warm service, healthy made fun and delicious. Love the vegan options!
The Cuban sandwich was excellent. My friend had the Pasta Mama which was delicious too. The serving staff was great. I would highly reccommend.
The waitress was very helpful and I was able to customize my order, which was great.
I started going to Hugo's years ago while producing TV commercials in the studios around Hollywood. I hadn't been back to the West Hollywood location in years (had been going to the location in the Valley). I'm happy to report the menu is still delightfully encyclopedic and the food nothing short of delicious. It reflects a pro food operation. Had the quinoa / beet salad. Excellent. The back room we were in was quiet and conducive to business conversation. This place just always delivers the goods. A great LA standard.
Valerie was great
Such a great experience and awesome waiter !!!!
we had breakfast - and the food was just not that good
pet peeve - vinegary eggs benedict - barely able to choke it down... not good
Had a relative with Gluten allergies, and it was perfect. So many options, we all ate gluten free.
This place is great! Always on point. Had to remind them we were celebrating my wife’s birthday and presented the check and weren’t offered dessert.
I. Every way. Real good.
The food was not good. The chilaquiles were soft and mushy and inedible.
This is my go to place for casual health food. Don’t expect a lot of parking spots on the north side of the building and be prepared to park in the public lot across the st. About $4 to park. Some of the staff are friendlier and more responsive than others. I do like some of the dishes—Asian stir fry and the cauliflower appetizer, the beet salad, all good. If you want a booth, reserve one when you make a reservation. I’m a Hugo’s lifer!
Always a great place for meals with friends, family or even a work lunch.
Food and service were very good. Everyone enjoyed their entree.
The food is good, fresh and flavorful. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
Love the variety and that they can make most dishes vegan. It will be my go to place for variety.
Food and service were very good. It was busy and a bit loud.
Huge menu. Tasty food! Lots of choices for vegans and non-vegans alike!
Love this place. Great variety of gluten free and vegan foods. I go there frequently.
Always a fun time at Hugos...Sticky Buns were great..
I was really disappointed in the food, the salmon was completely dried out with bones in it. My past experiences at this restaurant have been great food wise and service is always top notch.
LOVE the creative menu -- so many choices. I honestly think I'd eat there every day if I could afford it. The free parking lot was full but the public lot across the street is free for the first hour, so not too bad. We got there at 12:45 on a weekday. At one, the lunch crowd arrived - so pays to plan to go earlier.
Our server was pleasant and attentive, but the food was not very good at all. Vegetables were oversalted, greens were bitter, veggie burger was dry, fries were burnt, dry, and looked like remnants of a previous batch. I've been to Hugo's many times and the food has always been good, but all of us were disappointed in our meals this time- sorry! My salmon was dry/overcooked and had no flavor. Sorry to sound negative, but although everyone was pleasant with good energy, the food was... no.
Waitress was great, very attentive!
Food was delicious too
There was a blackout that night and the staff handled it amazingly!! They set up candles everywhere and even in the bathroom!
The service was impeccable. The staff made us feel so welcomed. It was a birthday dinner for a friend and the complimentary cute dessert with the lit candle was a great touch.
I'll return there soon!
Service is always great, food is healthy and the quality is great!
One of my long time favorites. I’ve been going to Hugo’s for years & have never been disappointed. They happily accommodated my baby’s stroller parked next to our table.
Fantastic place for a group with varied food preferences. Gluten-free options were amazing!
This was our first time visiting Hugo's and what a great find! The food was fabulous and the staff was helpful and super friendly! This will definitely be one of our stops when visiting the Hollywood/West Hollywood area
I had the vegan Reuben sandwich. The vegan salami is made with mung beans. Sounds a little odd, but I couldn't believe how good it tasted. I'd have it again. Hugo's always has plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, as well as plenty of options for the meat folks. There's something for everyone.
Great food as always, Our server, Matthew, was fantastic.
Great place that has plenty of options for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free people. Interesting mix of cuisines but good overall. Reasonably priced.
Great menu. Very Celiac-friendly!
Our server was awesome, the food delicious and the cocktails/sparkling wine top shelf
