As an Indian Restaurant I would expect an ambience it’s a bit like a Costa cafe.
Really good if going to a gig. Early meals with great service.
Great Birthday meal for my wife. Well looked after, polite and the food was fantastic. Lots of choice and served very professionally and quick.
Highly recommend this Indian. We walked for 20mins but well worth it.
Nice touch at the end with ice cream and a candle for my wife’s birthday.
First visit. Impressed with the whole set up. Food was just the best with nice compact menue. Raj was very attentive and helpful. Will come again.
Lovely Indian restaurant. Convenient for getting to SECC etc. Really great food. Service is outstanding with friendly staff happy to advise on the menu. Very impressed and will visit again.
Very nice, Raj served us was excellent, recommend a gin drink that was brillaint
The staff in India quay are very friendly and helpful. The food, as usual was amazing. we never feel rushed when dining here. The portion sizes are very generous and well worth the money.
Fabulous meal. Everything was perfect. The waiting staff were spot on. Just seemed to arrive at the right time to fill our glasses or remove our plates. Can’t fault a thing.
The waiting staff were excellent but that’s about the only positive thing I can write. The food was very mediocre and the coffee was about the worst I’ve ever tasted. Not a good experience and we would never go back. Sorry guys but this is an honest review. Forgot, the restrooms were clean.
Been here many times before - food always good and staff friendly
2nd visit pre concert and cannot fault the food or service. Both times friends have required GF food, no fuss, no problem just delicious food. Highly recommended.
Always incredible food & service.
The food, value and over all experience didn’t match a 4.6 star rating but maybe being Glasgow the competition just isn’t there in the same way as other dining cities. It was fine and the food nice enough, just not particularly special and quite expensive really.
The food was outstanding, the service was excellent. The ambience was good but being placed at the back of the restaurant on one of the hottest days in Glasgow for years - with no air conditioning - detracted somewhat from the experience.
Also, please STOP using plastic straws!
But overall, the experience was very good
Can't fault India Quay for service taste and value. We had an early evening meal on a busy Friday also one of the hottest days of the year.
Food was excellent and served promptly.
The only downer and this was not the fault of the restaurant , was the tattoo'd idiot mouthing a stream of obscenities towards his young child - like I said - an idiot!!
Had a pre-concert meal. Went like clockwork. Food was fab as were the staff.
Sampled the lunchtime menu which was very good value. Food was very tasty and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable visit.
Very professional staff who understood our requirement for gluten free food and the beers and drinks were all checked too as well as the food.
I felt very comfortable and well attended to even at quite a busy time. I would definitely return to sample some of the other lovely dishes on the menue.
No negatives or downside during our visit.
Booked this as was recommended as the best Indian buffet in Glasgow....however, when we arrived we were told we had to phone to book the buffet. Anyway, ordered from menu an d food was very good. Service a bit haphazard but they were busy.
Very welcoming. Staff amazing and food wonderful. Special Gin was indeed special. Highly recommend this restaurant. Can't wait to go back. Handy for SECC, Hydro and Armadillo.
Best Indian in Glasgow I have tasted. Pricy but quality
Excellent food. Staff were all very friendly and polite. Very attentive. Great night.
Service appalling. An hour after starters cleared still no main courses. Had to ask 3 times and were told coming next very busy! Going to a show at hydro not ideal mains when they came were ok but had to rush. Food was quite good. Bit overpriced but you expect that when close to hydro. Won't rush back.
Another first class meal at India Quay . Food and staff are fantastic and can’t wait until we are back again
Second time visiting this time we took my parents and small child.
Food again was excellent
Staff were attentive to my 1 year old and were engaging with him whilst taking our orders etc.
Nothing seemed to be too much hassle and the service like last time was great
Definitely worth the 40 minute drive for dinner here
Look forward to returning
We had a few items
Tandoori platter was the best thing we had, good flavours and enough.
Lamb Desi was a good tasting fairly authentic dish with lots of flavour
Chicken Korma was OK
Chicken tikka chasni was 7/10 needed a bit more bite
Daal Makhni was a good version with plenty in it as a side
Overall we will be back
The staff were exceptionally nice, and the view through the big picture windows was rather special. Food was tasty and plentiful. Traditional rather than adventurous, we felt, but nicely done "home cooking" style.
Amazing food as always, well worth the trip from Fife to Glasgow for.
Lovely fresh food and good choices at buffet option.
Excellent as always - would never go anywhere else pre-concerts. Friendly service and delicious food.
Visited indi a What again while in Glasgow. It did not disappoint. Really enjoyed the overall experience. The service and food was outstanding. Set us up well before a concert. We were not rushed. The staff asked if we would like a break before our main course . Will definitely return when the opportunity arises.
Fantastic buffet lunch. The quality and freshness of the food was second to none. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Great location for pre concert and post concert meals. Lunch time was not too busy which was great. Would definitely recommend.
A lovely dining experience and great service. All staff were attentive, polite and smiley. The food was lovely and fresh and were good portion sizes. Couldn’t fault anything.
Excellent quality food, and really helpful and interested staff. Not a huge menu choice, but a very good variety on offer. Kingfisher beer is the best partner to super tasty curry!
Another superb meal at india quay, we are never disappointed. All staff are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is ever too much trouble. Best Indian food in Glasgow 😁
As usual the food here is excellent and reasonably priced. The staff are outstanding and the decor is clean and modern. Very handy if going to the hydro. Will be back and would definitely recommend
Been for my wife birthday, As food very tasty lovely, Staff friendly helpful, Location great. Sure will back again.
Great veggie options, it’s nice to get a choice for a change on a menu. Staff always helpful to make good veggie choices and which sauce is good if you like mild or spicy
Been a few times now I just can't recommend this place enough the staff are fantastic and the food is simply exceptional can't wait to go again
Overall good venue for pre- concert meal and food generally very good but some dishes are over spiced compared to other curry houses so be careful when ordering anything rated as medium
