Had a meal here on March 9th 2019, fabulous meal, super service, great place, would recommend to anyone who loves Indian food...yum yum
Warm welcome delicious food good ambience great value thank you
Really nice curry. Great service and a nice atmosphere. Can’t fault it really.
Food was outstanding, service was pretty good and not slow. We did have to reorder our drinks though.
Very tender chicken and lamb carefully spiced. Light airy atmosphere.
Good food, good service, nice place, everything was great.
Delicious food and great service. Don’t expect a full bartender but that should not discourage you from dining there. We’ll be going back again next time in London.
Fantastic Indian cuisine and friendly staff!
Tasty food but small portions. King prawns were fantastic.
Bland food, the chicken madras (2 chilli annotation) had no fire. The lamb mango was like a korma. Sparkling water in large bottles only. Friendly and efficient service but bland food.
The food was not bad but I have eaten better Indian cuisine in London for the same price. The staff was really kind and help us to manage all with 2 babies
Not many people in at lunch but excellent food and it was fast!
Great dinner, nice athmosphare and perfect service. We like this "Indian City"
Very tight seating . Crowded table for 2 . Food barely fits
Very nice friendly service, tailored the food to requirements and didn't charge for little extras such as chillies - all in all a good place to enjoy a nice Indian meal
Perfect diner for 7 peoples included kids , food was good et service perfect
Great restaurant, favourite place for Indian food in London!
Made a confirmed reservation, when we got there we were told that they weren't serving lunch, even thought there where at least 2 tables of people eating. We had to leave and find another lunch place.
Horrible place - they took our reservation, we took a taxi to the restaurant, got there 10 minutes prior to our reservation, and they locked the door and said they were closed and would not let us in - even though the restaurant was almost full at the time. Avoid this place as they do not appreciate their customers!
Wonderful not-quite-traditional Indian restaurant right in the heart of London. Service was excellent, food was fabulous. Don't expect typical Indian ... much more interesting!
Nice ambience inside. Food is very good and the service was excellent.
Exceptionally friendly and fun service, with quite tasty (and reasonably priced!) food in a beautiful room. Can't wait to return to London for another dinner at Indian City!
Regular, down-to-earth curry house with just a very slightly more upmarket feel, Tasty Food. Great if you fancy a quick curry in the heart of the City!
Delicious Indian food! Loved the naan and butter chicken. Would definitely return the next time we visit London.
Excellent India food, best we've had in ages. Lovely friendly service. Can't fault it.
Everything was sweet! Not a fan
Great Indian food. It's difficult to find a good Indian restaurant but this one was highly reviewed so thought we'd give it a try for my Mum's 60th Birthday and it lived up to the reviews. A very good Indian restaurant!
Great food but average price more like £35 than mentioned £25. Portions were rather small, especially rice. Was told could feed two people, definitely not. Also tablecloth on table next to us was dirty. Should have removed.
Food and service were amazing. 🔝🔝🔝 First time there and we were so happy. Loved it. Will come again for sure. Thank you
Serious, up-market and quiet, with food that is not too heavy and flawless service. Excellent choice for a business meal.
Went for lunch on a Saturday. Being on the edge of the City, the restaurant was quiet but the welcome was very good. My wife and I were really happy with the quality of the food and wine , and at a fair price. Definitely a notch above the average Indian Restaurant. I'm sure we will will return.
We really enjoyed our lunch on New Years Eve in the Indian City, it wasnt far from our hotel. The staff were very accomodating and fantastic with the 10 of us including the children. The variety on the menu was brilliant and the duck jalfrezi was brilliant!
Very friendly place with good indian food. We were two couples who were in London for a few days and this place was just around the corner from our hotel. We had a great night out here and I would definately recommend it.
Food was top notch, service was top notch! Couldn't fault it. They were evening turning people away because they were fully booked, just goes to show how nice and popular it is!
Food was amazing and service was excellent. All the waiters were super nice and always smiling, will definitely go back!
I visited this restaurant after seeing reviews on Trip Advisor. I thoroughly enjoyed all the food, it was very tasty and cooked perfectly. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite and helpful, one of the best dining experiences I have had and by far the best at an Indian restaurant. The prices were slightly higher than what I am used to paying in Australia but I am aware that it was fairly good value for London as it is a very expensive city. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Outstanding service, I can't emphasize this anymore. I got a free birthday dessert and the end of the meal we got a free small shot of alcohol. Food was great, service was above and beyond. I had a group of 11 people and they were very accomodating. I will definitely be coming back!
Where do we start this was a great little Indian restaurant, it was a stones throw form our hotel and we are so glad that we found it, great food, friendly and helpful staff and well priced for the area. You have to try this place to be leave it, we are big foodies from the midlands and we wouldn't think twice about driving to London to go here again.
If we stay in any other part of London we would make the effort to visit again and it is only about 150 meters from Blackfriars tube station.
Really good indian food and good service. It's our second time here.
I had the lamb. It was good, but didn't knock my socks off. My daughter's Butter Chicken was really tasty though. The staff was friendly and attentive. The price was reasonable for a family of 4.
