Great indian food opposite kings cross station and very friendly and funny staff. They have recently refurbished this curry house so looks fresh! Check it out.
A lovely dining experience for me and my wife. Food was tasty and they can modify dishes upon requests. Good bottle of Cabertnet Sauvignon chile and a relaxed ambience with friendly service. We shall return to try more dishes!
Very welcoming staff who seated me straight away although I was a bit early. Poppadums and chutney along with a large glass of white wine arrived promptly. Very tasty Chicken Madras and garlic nan bread. Will certainly recommend to friends!
Lovely lounge Mix starter followed by Lamb Biryani - enjoyed the flavour and great service! Very cold cobra beer too! Close to kings cross station!
great reviews but not impressed. Thought the food would be ok but no.
Had a team dinner here for 8 persons, service was attentive , food was very good , we sat in the basement restaurant , very unusual decor , was like sitting in the Jungle - complete with a fish pond !
Well priced for a London eatery - we would go again.
Lovely meal with good flavours and spices. Nice staff who are helpful and guide you through the menu. Reasonable prices for the area. Highly recommend this place!!!
Lovely lamb phall - nice and spicy with a chilli nan. Attentive staff and clean restaurant. A great find in kings cross.
Great food with some unique dishes not available in other Indian restaurants. Good service and nice cold cobra. Nice experience.
I would say overall ,not very good ,told to get extra rice as they said small portions, but one rice was quite enough ,got put right near the door which was cold as people kept coming n going with what I'll never know , won't be going back .
Marvellous restaurant with top quality food. It was quite full so I would recommend booking the place if you have a big group. Lamb Naga was superb and service was lovely.
Sensational meal in this packed Indian restaurant. Indian Lounge has one of the best reviews around the area and this was reflected by my meal. Lovely Lamb Qasuri Methi with garlic naan bread. Top place!
Having enjoyed eating here several times before over the last few years, I was a bit disappointed this time to see that the restaurant has become quite shabby and is now in need of either a really deep clean (particularly in the loos) or an overhaul. The food is still good – although not everyone at our table loved what they had – but the service really let us down. I can't remember the last time I had to sit and wait for so long before anyone even asked us what we'd like to drink. Kings Cross needs a good, reliable Indian restaurant and Indian Lounge now needs to up its game in order to be that place.
Good menu with a variety of dishes and very tasty food. Staff were very friendly. Keema Murgh was lovely. I wasn’t the only solo diner so I didn’t seem out of place. Definitely recommend Indian Lounge!
Found this place on tripadvisor and it was definitely worth the trip. Staff are welcoming and made some good recommendations. The Goan fish curry and sag aloo was very nice. Hot wipes were provided along with a shot of amaretto. Marvellous!
The veggie dishes were very tasty (bhindi bhaji, tok special begum & saag paneer) but the prawn madras was a bit of a let down. Obviously a base sauce spooned over what ever meat or veg you choose with little else.
Chris the waiter was awesome. What a character. Would recommend just to meet him... Oh, and the food is excellent. Fantastic!
Awesome meal with lovely and friendly staff. Chicken tikka Jalfrezi was tasty and garlic naan was one of the best I’ve had. Recommend this place for sure!
Food was really good when it eventually arrived. After an hour and a half we still hadn't got out starters so we cancelled them and had our mains which were very tasty. Wine was rubbish but Cobras were ice cold. Chris the very camp waiter was fairly amusing at first but it got a little wearing in the end!
Brilliant indian restaurant close to kings cross station. Crispy poppadums, spicy konjee lamb starter was nice and had a kick and lovely chicken Jalfrezi. Very good service too.
Beautiful presented meal, delicious dishes and lovely staff. Staff are quite engaging and made a dish for me that was not listed in the menu (Chicken phal). Wonderful experience and definitely highly recommended! Thumbs up from me!
Chris was great. Food wasn't as good as we thought it would be given the reviews.
Selected due to convenient location adjacent to Kings Cross. Stayed til nearly closing due to great food, service, and fun atmosphere.
Generally in London I find good service equates with average food, but not here! I had to go with my standard curry for the first visit, but will return to try some intriguing menu options. Even the house wine was well-above the quality generally served in most Indian restaurants around town.
I will definitely be back! 🙂
Nice place to eat with friendly staff. Good buzzing atmosphere and they have a nice waterfall feature downstairs. Amazing food and clean toilets. Looking forward to my next visit!
Excellent restaurant in close proximity to kings cross. Fast and efficient service with friendly faces. Seated immediately and drinks order taken quickly. Poppadums arrived with fresh chutney tray. Lamb samosa starter was nicely presented and was tasty. Chicken vindaloo was spicy and bursting with flavour - just the way I like it. Garlic nan and pilau rice were good too. A complimentary shot of amaretto with the bill - can't get any better? A must go if you're around the area.
We ordered three dishes: sag paneer, dal, and chicken tikki masala. The first two were good but the chicken tikki was much more red based than we have ever had before and therefore not what we were used to. I had been salivating in anticipation of a great tikki, so it may have just been our expectations to be fair. Our server ran after us at the street corner to tell us we had not tipped enough. Tipping overseas is all over the place and we usually meet the local custom, but this was a first for us. So this wasn’t a bad experience just different from what
Fabulous service. We were a large group so quite loud but I let them know in advance so we could be sat somewhere separate from other diners. The space downstairs was fab and perfect for our large group.
Nice restaurant, I liked the waterfall feature downstairs.
The food was nice but have to say I’ve had better especially for the London prices.
The waiter was very theatrical if a little over the top, could be bordering on offensive to some people though
Food was delicious. Staff were a pleasure, especially Chris.
Really nice business lunch in relaxed and informal surroundings. Staff were super-friendly and helpful, and food was great quality, with a really imaginative menu, (I'd never had curried cheese before!). Price was what you would expect. A very slight downside was the venue itself looked a little tired, given it is in a location surrounded by glitz and new-poshness, and this place has obviously been here for some time, however it was not so tired as to be a problem or anything like that. Our waiter was particularly friendly and welcoming, and I totally recommend this location to other diners.
Lovely food, very friendly service. Would definitely return, handy if travelling from Kings-cross, very convenient to station.
Good food and service. Nice staff. Kitchen open late, big thumbs up. Like the area. My son, stepson and myself had a pleasant evening.
Great food and great service from Chris our waiter
Very friendly and welcoming. Food was fine, but not exceptional.
We would definitely recommend this restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, served by friendly staff and good ambience. We liked the water feature in the downstairs of the restaurant and the Bollywood music in the toilets! Music in the restaurant was restrained so allowed us to have a conversation without having to raise our voices.
Great food and drink served by friendly and approachable waiting staff. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic place. It was busy when I arrived but was seated immediately. The restaurant had a buzzing atmosphere with customers upstairs and downstairs. Drink order was taken quickly and arrived within a minute. The food was delicious with spices at the right level. Friendly and helpful staff that had a smile on their face. Amaretto on the house at the end of the meal which was very nice. Highly recommended.
Fantastic place! Delicious food and service with a big smile. What more do you want. Definitely recommended if around the area.
The worst service and the worst Indian food. When we told the waiter (who was staring down my top) he just said ‘oh well’. Won’t be returning!
One of our party was late but we didn’t feel rushed and we were looked after. Food great and we had a lot of fun. Service very attentive! Thank you!
