Nothing special I'm upset to say, gluten free pasta is not easy to cook and I felt they overcooked it. Ice cream mix was basically three scoops in a bowl which lacked a lot in presentation. Service seemed ok in the beginning but turned out a bit unprofessional in the end, as it seemed like they were gossiping amongst themselves about guests. Left feeling disappointed not what I expected. Don't recommend it even for people with gluten intolerance, plenty of alternatives around the city.

Pre theatre meal for which we had the set menu. Arrived 5.45 and left just after 7. I had 3 courses and partner 2 courses for £78. 10% service charge added. Wine very good and we had the cheapest at 9 a glass. service excellent and food was very good although both our venison could have been hotter. Normally I would have sent it back but felt that might have been awkward.

Appreciated the entirely gluten-free and dairy-free menu and the food was incredible. Best bread I have had in my life, which they make in-house.

Took my gluten intolerant wife here for her birthday. We were greeted by the hotel reception and led into the hotel bar as we were half an hour early. And had two of the best cocktails we've ever had! Staff very attentive in here and my interior designer wife was very impressed with the decor. Then we went up for our meal. We were on quite a tight schedule as had theatre booking to make. The decor and ambience in the restaurant was also excellent, and very attentive waiters. We had scallops and pork belly, respectively, for starter - both exquisite. For main we had grouse, and venison - also both absolutely delicious and well presented. Sadly we did not have time for dessert, but this is not the fault of the restaurant. The food came out in good time without feeling rushed. Overall, I cannot fault this restaurant and bar - particularly for those who are gluten or dairy free. It was certainly not cheap but you would not expect a place like this to be, so was a rare treat for us both.

As a coeliac the priority is always stress-free dining, so to have this level of food and service added to the day was just fantastic. It proves cooking doesn't have to be boring just because you've had to eliminate certain ingredients. We'd booked the last sitting for lunch but didn't feel rushed by the staff. They gave us plenty of time to get our order in and the food arrived with plenty of time between courses. Plenty of staff around if you have any questions but on the whole the don't overfuss, which is great.

I opted for the steak and chips and my wife had the salmon. Leave room for dessert. I had the chocolate mouse with banana ice cream and my wife had the cheesecake . There is a great selection of wines and vodkas including some UK based suppliers. Coffee comes with a tray of sweet treats, not to be missed. Our first visit but definitely not our last.....we spied some diners having the afternoon tea, we may well return for that

My wife is Gluten intolerant and it was a real treat for her to know that she could eat anything on the menu and not have to worry about cross contamination from wheat or dairy products cooked in the kitchen. The food was wonderfully made and presented by polite and efficient staff. My only slight criticism is the price of the wine. It seemed there was a high mark up; so that if you want to go regularly you need deep pockets. But for a birthday treat such as this night out was, I was prepared to pay whatever was necessary to make my wife happy. I would recommend it to anyone who suffers by being Gluten intolerant but you need to check out the cost before booking.

What a great evening.
Restaurant being on the Mezzanine level felt quite intimate although at one end it was open to the bar below, the low murmur of conversation gave it some atmosphere.
Seating was comfortable and the tables were well spaced offering ease of access and privacy of conversation.
We chose from the A La Carte Menu but the Tasting Menu looked to be good value with an interesting selection of dishes. Don't be fooled by the simple description of the desserts, they were a great surprise and simply delicious.
Bottled wine was a little on the pricey side but a good selection available by the glass.
Staff were great, attentive without be over bearing.

Thank you for a great evening-just the right atmosphere and level of friendly efficient service. As someone with quite complex dietary needs I had a really relaxed enjoyable evening without having to worry if my needs were going to be met. I was helped with my selections in an understanding but understated way which meant that it didn't feel like my issues were being forced on everyone else.
The whole offering was delicious, but the bread was particularly special. Thank you again.

As always at Indigo we had excellent service and a totally delicious meal. Such a delight for those on either a gluten free or a dairy free diet to be able to choose any dish on the menu - and an ever greater treat for those who are both gluten free AND milk free. As ever - a totally delightful evening.

We took the pre theatre dinner option and were happy not only with the 3 course value but also very happy with the food. It was delicious! The wait staff were attentive and professional and personable. Our waiter asked if it was a special occasion and found out it was my wife’s birthday. Imagine our surprise when he brought a slice of brownie decorated with a shard of chocolate that read happy birthday and a lit candle. A very thoughtful touch. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

As soon as I entered the restaurant the service was exceptional. I was shown to my table where I was immediately offered a drink which was delivered very quickly together with two menus and the wine list. Having chosen my three courses, I chose to have a reasonably priced carafe of Merlot, which when it arrived was very palatable. I was also offered water which again was swiftly delivered and poured.
I had chosen to go for the Pork Belly which was just superb. This was followed by Venison which was pink in the centre and again was delicious. With the started I was served sourdough bread and butter that tasted exactly like being at The seaside.
Desert was my favourite, Creme Brûlée which was served with blackberries. The tart taste of Blackberries complemented the sweetness of the Brûlée.
This meal was better then some of the meals I have received in Michelin’s Star restaurants and I would certainly recommend this restaurant to everyone

We tried this restaurant as my partner has a gluten allergy and is often ill from the slightest traces.

We had cocktails at the bar of the hotel first which were amazing and the staff were fantastic. We then went up to the mezzanine level which was a bit uninspiring and certainly not the sort of ambiance that warranted the final bill. The food was ok, the starter was delicious, the mains and desserts were satisfying but not inspiring and the sizes were all quite small.

It's a great concept as it is difficult to find nice restaurants to eat at for celebratory occasions which can safely cater for gluten allergies, and unfortunately this isn't going to be one we'd rush back too.

Great dinner and good service although it is irritating when they don’t bother checking when to fill up your wine but keep your bottle off the table. Also the key reason we chose Indigo was the fact it was gluten and dairy free, however when they brought the petit fours over we were told not all were gluten and dairy free. It was a shame not to continue on the free from theme right through to the end. Minor point though!
