Always great—food and service are consistently good.

Beautiful restaurant with great service. We went for brunch and it was a great value. They serve a dip with bread before your meal and a bowl of fruit cocktail I was also brought to the table at some point. I had crab cake Benedict and he had lamb shank hash. Both excellent, as were the bloody Mary’s. The menu looked so good that we will return soon for dinner. I can’t wait to have their saganaki.

We enjoyed a wonderful dining experience at Ithaki. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. We’ll be back soon.

Portions are considerably smaller.

Everything was outstanding except for the 2 women who were sitting at the bar watching a very loud video on their phone. Finally, someone in our party let them know how rude they were being to the other customers and they turned it down.

Our dining experience with friends was absolutely superb! The food (as always) was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance quite lovely. But above all, our server, Chris, went above and beyond to make our dinner out quite memorable. We definitely will be back!

Reservation at 8:00 for dinner and already out of items on the regular menu, not daily specials. Had just received our check and paid when lights blinked at 10:02, indicating we needed to leave. We found that unacceptable after spending quite a bit for dinner.

Everything's always freshly cooked, in over 10 years I don't think we've ever sent anything back... Apart from empty plates!

On Valentine's Day, we were seated on time, and had a very pleasant dinner.

We've been to Ithaki previously. Our reservation was at a table in the bar area, which we enjoyed because of the energy. Our food was fantastic and the waitstaff were attentive but not overly so. Excellent value for the money.

My husband and I had a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner. We shared the fattoush, and I had grilled octopus, and he had egg lemon soup. The octopus was tender, flavorful, and superb. The fattoush tasted like summer,and the egg lemon soup, was light,lemony and lovely. We had the mushroom parpadelle and halibut for entrees. Both were perfect. This is one of my favorite restaurants on the planet. It’s more than 30 miles from our house, but it’s worth the drive.

This fine-dining restaurant is one of my favorites, and never disappoints. From excellent cocktails to amazing desserts and everything in between, we always enjoy our meal. I had the Australian lamb rack, cooked to perfection with a bordelaise sauce. My husband had the lobster tail (baked and perfectly seasoned) and filet mignon. Delicious. Apps were fresh oysters on the half shell and fantastic calamari. It comes with a spicy aioli, but I opted out as I don't like spicy foods. For dessert we got our favorite, galactobouriko (a delicious cheese-filled pastry, served warm, with a tart-cherry sauce) and baklava. Topped off with cappuccino, fantastic service and the smiles of fellow patrons, it was a great evening. Pricy, but great for a special evening out.

Best restaurant on the north shore

One of our favorite places on the North Shore. We’ve never had a bad meal. It’s our go to “date night” place. Love it!

We hadn't been to Ithaki for several years but decided to go after our son's basketball game. The four of us had an incredible meal including splitting a delicious greek salad, eating baked feta and grilled octopus. Lots of dishes and all of us loved what we ate. We will be back soon since we live on the North Shore and we forgot how good the food is here.

I'd not been in a few years, as I was undewhelmed the last time I went, but something magical is happening in that kitchen. A friend and I shared the evening's special oyster appetizer - unbelievably good. She then had the Cod Plaki and could not stop raving. I had the excellent Branzino, another special that evening. The Greek white wine by the glass - I don't remember name but waiter suggested it when I was considering the Pinot Grigio - was perfect with my fish. Service terrific and helpful. The bread and dip that is brought to the table is as great as I remember from the old days. I'm returning next weekend for another Ithaki fix.

Once again, Ithaki didn't disappoint! Petros and his staff were outstanding and made New Years eve special for us! The food was incredible!

Even before we appeared for dinner, the manager called to tell me that it would be a very busy night at the restaurant and ask where would we prefer to sit, given that we had some hearing issues among our group. Now that’s service!
The menu was varied, had many price points, and something for everyone. In addition, we found all the dishes that we ordered delicious.
We will be sure to return!

A little pricey for lunch. The food was bland although attractively presented The various components of the scallops special were indiscernible from the white sauce except for the spinach

What a wonderful restaurant and neighborhood gem! The food is simply outstanding. We had the slouvaki, lamb sandwich, huge burger (split between two people!) and the lamb chops. Great service. Will return!

Authentic Greek Food. The best.

Among the very best on the east coast for traditional and imaginative Greek and Mediterranean inspired cuisine! As an starter, the grilled octopus is truly remarkable and the fish and lamb menu regulars are among the best renditions we've had. Chris, our waiter, was a huge delight. Spot on with wine and side dish recommendations as well a wonderful stories of Greece plus tales of kitchens good ... and not so good. We hugely enjoyed his hospitality as much as great selections from Ithaki's talented kitchen. We've dined here many, many times over the years and had consistently excellent service and equally great and inspired food.

a friend enthusiastically recommended the restaurant. Service was lackluster and our server indifferent in attitude. We had lamb gyros and the meat was almost inedible - overcooked, chewy, tasteless but nonetheless quite expensive. Our friend did say the lamb chop was good.

This was some of the best Greek food that I’ve had outside of Greece! Great quality and large portions.

The owner, Petro, procures the best ingredients and so dining at Ithaki is always a positive experience. We had octopus with fava, mixed grill, a Greek village salad, and giant beans called gigantes. I highly recommend Ithaki for lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch.

I wish I lived closer! We've always LOVED Ithaki, but sadly aren't in the area as often. We were able to get up there late one night for dinner at the bar, and even tho they were at the end of the night, we never felt hurried or that any less attention was taken to the beautiful dishes we enjoyed! The Greek salad is exceptionally fresh, octopus still one of the best anywhere. Wines and cocktails perfect!
