Ivan Ramen imagines the Classic NY diner as seen through the Japanese lens. The food is incredible, the service outstanding, the menu is uniquely Ivan Orkin. Ivan Ramen celebrates Ivan’s creativity through the lens of his life journey. His effortless blending of: his New York roots, his classic French training, and his deep understanding of Japan, color the menu and the restaurant. Ramen here is clearly a must, but you should not miss out on the amazing array of other dishes, which are perfect for sharing while you enjoy a well selected sake. Casual, comfortable and quirky with splashes of art inspired by pop culture and movies, Ivan Ramen is simply a fun restaurant.
Everything was perfect. The plum soy glaze for the bao buns is perfectly sweet and savory, the roasted cauliflower is life changing, the ramen will make you want another bite even when you’re stuffed to the gills and the service was great. My water glass never reached below half. I drank so much I almost didn’t make it home to the bathroom. If you haven’t been here, you must!
We loved it! Well dine with our allergies-peanut/treenut/shellfish. (we had ramen) We will be back!
The curried cauliflower appetizer was delicious and the eggplant appetizer was too, but all the ramen dishes were way too oversalted. It's a fun, popular place, but I won't be going back any time soon.
Some of the best ramen I’ve ever had.
I have been coming to Ivan ramen well before the chef table episode. Over the years the quality has been inconsistent. This has been my favorite Ramen place by long shot and it’s sad to see what it’s becoming. I hope it been bad timing on my part.
THE BEST RAMEN I'VE EVER HAD. Our waiter made our experience even more amazing. He was so friendly and gave us some great recommendations.
Great ramen!! Good servers with good experience to walk us through the menu
My intention to duck-and-cover as a solo guest on Valentines Day turned into a wonderful friends’ get-together, where the Ivan Ramen team were—no, ARE—my friends. Thank you, Jam and all your colleagues. So many yumminesses: the tofu coney island (reflective nostalgia that becomes the future), the cauliflower that thinks it’s a party 🎉 for my mouth, crispy eggplant, chicken with the ranch dipping sauce. It was an appetizer flight. Then the duck duck tsukemen 🤤😝👅. With a tiny yet mighty sake flight. And Boyz II Men radio playing. Yes, I will be back.
Absolutely delicious, original food and very well-informed staff who are helpful with ordering. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent ramen in a cool setting. Price point is slightly above the quality, but the selection is diverse and excellent, something you don't see at many ramen places.
One of my husband’s death foods is ramen. Well where else do you go to celebrate your husband’s birthday - and you live in Omaha? You go to the king of ramen: Ivan Ramen.
Our experience did not disappoint. From the reservation process to the amazing noodles, flavor profile and variety of ramen; not to mention the fantastic appetizer and beers. Ivan Ramen is an experience. A seat at the counter where you can watch it all happen and interact with the staff; you can tell they love working for Ivan.
Ivan, please visit Omaha! We love ramen!
Food spectacular (Tokyo Shio)
Service was attentive
Atmosphere was just right
Ivan's food is fantastic - nothing more to say other than BRAVO what a delicious establishment with great service and a great atmosphere
Day in NYC for Stephen Colbert show!
Food is, as always amazing. Service could improve. We waited for a long time to get a waiters attention and, when he approached us it was not good. Too quick and too dirty for our taste.
Best lamen of my life. Great staff and cool vibe
So good OMG. Definitely recommend to go again. Prices are decent.
Amazing food and beer selection.
Amazing food, super friendly staff, overall really wonderful experience! Will definitely go back.
I love this place! Went once on a date and keep bringing friends back - especially fun for out of town guests! Delicious food. Fun atmosphere and helpful/friendly staff.
The sake selection is very eclectic and well thought out, the service was great at the bar and the server was very helpful with the menu. The ramen was exceptional, but the Japanese fried chicken wasn't as juicy as I would have expected, however, the sauce made up for the dryness.
In and out on a Wednesday, very good sour beers.
The “OOOMPH” in the ramen seems to have waned.
This place is way better than Ippudo by far. The Duck Tsukumen is amazing. I was a big fan of Ippudo until I went to this place. Triple pork was also very good. Appetizer eggplant and pork buns are outstanding
One of my absolute favorite ramen spots, the food is delicious and the vibes are on point.I’ve been going for a couple of years and am always pleased to see how busy it is.
Great food unless you’re vegetarian or vegan - not much selection there. However, this omnivore loved her dinner!!
Very courteous servers. Delicious options. Never disappoints Bao
Buns with pork belly are worth the visit
Outstanding food and fantastic service from Nathan.
Sophisticated flavors, great atmosphere and easy-going service. Highly recommended.
I always have an amazing experience when I go to Ivan Ramen. Service and food always hit the spot.
Chicken Paitan was different (in a bad way). This was my 7th time having it... both myself and my gf noticed something was off. Disappointed
Perfect spot for a good ramen.
Always the best customer service in the city. Incredibly kind and thoughtful
The pork belly bun was the best we’had, the eggplant amazing. The ramen was a little bland. It could use more seas and more vegetables. Would love a ramen with uni.
Can’t wait to go back.
So good! So full!
Best casual meal in town
I visit NYC 2-3 times per month from Dallas, Texas. Ivan Ramen is on my list every time. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The chicken ramen is unbelievable.
Best ramen in town!
Great food, good vibes, unpretentious!
Awesome Ramen. Best I ever had.
Nathan was an amazing server, and all the food was great! Thank you all!
