Gorgeous food, service impeccable

A traditional English restaurant, specialising in fish. Excellent service. From the doorman who greats you to the young waitress who served us everything was faultless. And the meal was excellent as well.

This place is excellent, food is sublime, staff are knowledgable and very hospitable. We had an excellent table and everything was perfect.
I cannot say enough about the food, we went back next day and had lunch!

Service and food excellent

Seriously good oysters, clams and octopus... absolutely mouth watering. Marco, who served us, had impeccable manners, was professional in all aspects. We knew we were in a high quality restaurant. ABSOLUTELY we will return.

Dover sole was disappointing

Dover sole was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed some caviar and the crab meat cocktail, and both were very good. Service was very attentive.

This place never disappoints. The food is always great and the service friendly no matter how busy they are. We will definitely be back.

Amazing food. Served quick, perfect if you have theatre reservations

The restaurant was very busy and our meals took a long time to arrive, as did the wine. The noise levels were very high with a couple of very loud tables nearby which spoiled the experience somewhat. Overall though, my husband enjoyed his birthday meal. The professionalism and courtesy of the staff could not be faulted.

J Sheekey is one of my favourite restaurants. Lovely birthday meal. Delicious fish/seafood and great service - always.

Incredible service and food at one of the oldest (and best) seafood restaurants in London. We went for a birthday dinner and were given a fantastic table. The food, as always, was on top form. Great wine and drinks. We were allowed to stay late. Overall just a fab experience!

We have been using this restaurant for many year. We always leave wanting to go back. We try a lot of restaurants but we haven’t found another Sheekey’s

Sheekey's maintains a very good level, both with the food and with the service. the portions are a good size, but it is not a cheap restaurant. the wine list is good but again not cheap. you go there knowing this, or you dont go!!! love it, and would love to go more, but at over £120 per head with only two bottles of wine and a glass of champagne each, there is a pain threshold!!!!

Amazing food with great service. Although it’s quite pricey. We been there twice and the fish pie still amaze us. Yum yum!

Costly, otherwise excellent! Good Value. Enjoyed our visit. When booking on line it was not clear at the time that there was a choice between the Restaurant and the 'Main ' Restaurant. But we still enjoyed it. NV

By far the best meal we had in London!
We even grabbed lunch the next day at Atlantic seafood bar as well. Food was perfect. Menu options diverse. Service was second to none, and we loved the energetic vibe.
Marrick was a fabulous server, and we so enjoyed visiting with him.

A busy restaurant well-situated for the Theatre and West End
A little pricey but good for a treat

We have been here a few times now at the bar side and the restaurant, pre-show.
The service is impeccable, efficient and delivered with charm. It was a nice touch to be thanked for coming again when leaving.
We shared a whole turbot, my favourite fish. This was perfectly cooked.
We really should be more adventurous but when you find a restaurant that delivers what we want this remains our first choice when in theatreland.

A birthday lunch for my wife. Staff were friendly and very professional, food was beautiful and service great. On a wet and cold day it was a very special meal.

Every time we have eaten here we are impressed by the service, food, ambiance and, for a crowded restaurant, the lack of defining noise. There us a buzz as a result of the usually full house but it’s never too noisy for a pleasant chat. This is our default London restaurant.

Was incredible from start to finish. Loved the sea bream and all the sides. The Oysters were out of this world. Really enjoyed the whole experience. The Apple

Wedding anniversary

Great experience...staff were friendly and really nice...atmosphere was good seemed very busy but all staff kept an eye out on who they were servicing...Food was also really good. The fish was cooked to perfection and the squid was to die for as well as the Monkfish and prawn curry.

My husband and I celebrated our 17th wedding birthday. The settings and ambiance was great and the food was fantastic. There was items on the menu that was ideal for me as I follow ketogenic diet . The service was excellent and found the staff very helpful with wine choices.
Overall a fantastic night and I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Brilliant birthday meal for Tom and Evan

Pleasurable experience, attentive staff, and fabulous food

Was taking a friend to the Royal Opera for the first time today and decided to take him to experience the excellence of J Sheekey at lunchtime. With a great choice for the set menu and great lunch was had.

The best service and food in London in my opinion and be using this fabulous restaurant for ten years now. Not as often as I’d like to , but whenever I’m in London I’ll always eat there if I can
