It was my birthday

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Went for dine in on Saturday at 3:30pm and was RUDELY and JUDGEMENTALLY told by the hostess that I had to “wait in line just like the rest of them” in a very demeaning manner. Even though our group had a reservation. Importantly to add our group was diversely cultured and you can tell the hostess favoured caucasians as he would be much more enthusiastic and talked to them with much more respect.

It’s quite pointless in my opinion making a reservation and being told that you have to wait in line behind groups of people who were just walking in when you have a table waiting for you.

I would NEVER visit this location ever again. Hostess should be warm and welcoming as it leaves the first impression when visiting a restaurant.

Amazing time with a great service

Chicken was cold and wasn’t appetizing at all

Staff was great, social distancing measures were clear and communicated well. Patio was lovely in the Sun.

The waitress was extremely attentive & provided excellent service.

Liam was our server and he was outstanding. We would go back just because of him. The food was good consistent with previous experience. Good covid policies in effect.

The server was nice. This was the second time I have been in about two weeks and each time had issues with the food. My friend had a piece of metal in her food. Disappointed in the menu.

Came for wine and apps. Great on all fronts. Doing a good job to keep patrons distanced.

The service was great. The food was great. The burger was really small definitely not worth the price. A burger from Wendy's is more filling.

covid friendly, great food , great service. Patio service was lovely, however was told if it rained we would have to pay bill and wait in line for table inside?! It did not rain so didnt see how this would have played out. Hoepefully we would have been offered priority since we were already seated. Will return!

Our waitress Ashley was awesome - very engaging and made my group feel very welcomed.

I had the glazed salmon but my only issue was that the side salad was quite dry so had to call that out and received dressing afterwards. Otherwise, it was a great night out.

Great service and superb wings. Really never disappointed when I go there. I know exactly what to expect and I get it.

We were on the patio and everything was great. The service was good - prompt, attentive, friendly- as was the food. Would go back to this location.

Had a good time getting afternoon drinks. Food was just ok. A little pricey, excellent service.

We had Calamari as a starter and enjoyed it as we did their burgers.
Mine was perfect.
They had arranged the setup very well for social distancing and we were very comfortable to be there. It was so nice to enjoy drinks and food on a restaurant patio after so long . The server was a lovely lady and looked after us very well. Strongly recommend this Jack Astor’s.

The experience was good especially since it was day 1 open of the patio. Everyone was very helpful and wanted to ensure customers were comfortable

the service was very poor considering it was a Sunday evening. Our waiter Drake took forever to take our drink and food order and almost disappeared when we were looking to get our bill. Food quality was average at best. Not sure that I will be back.

We chose to do the Jack Astor’s marriage for Valentine’s Day and it was amazing. They did such a great job, so impressed.

Overall we had a good meal. The menu is much better now and we all enjoyed our meals.

Had the Holy Smoke Burger with fries. The burger had no taste. It was very bland. I could taste freezer burn in the fries. I was not impressed with how the food tasted.

Our server Zee was very pleasant and great at her job!

Service was outstanding however food is sub par.

Great spot for a birthday meal. Prices and quality are what you come to expect.

Food quality and quantity has been reduced since our last visit. Server seemed unmotivated and unfriendly.

Get together with family

Had to go to the hostess stand to request menus after we waited for a few minutes

Our food was ok. My husband's thai noodles were all clumped up together and my veggie burger patty was burnt to the point that it was all black. I also requested for extra pickles on the side and they just put one in the actually burger. Jack's food and service is usually pretty good however we've noticed that changes a lot and goes downhill during busier times... like Friday nights.

Food was disappointing - chicken wings soggy, served in a pot which means you get sauce all over your wrists when dipping wings. Chicken Parmesan was a joke!

Celebrated my hubby's bday tonight. We ordered nachos to start and our mains. We received our mains after some time, but no nachos. We were given some bread instead.
Manager came by and apologized for the experience. She took the nachos off our bill and gave us 2 to take home!
Waitress was polite, attentive and helpful. She rounded up her crew to sing Happy Birthday to my hubby. Didn't have to remind them, I put it on the reservation.
Now THAT'S customer service!
Mistakes happen, but it's how they corrected it, and the sincerity of their apologies is what made our night.
Thank you for proving that good service still exists!

Took my son for his 18th birthday , only about 4 tables in the whole restaurant.

Never disappoints for a family restaurant. Patio is an enjoyable place to have a meal with the kids.

They were in the middle of a menu update, all the apps we ordered were not available but the manager helped us out.

Great time

Hard plastic straws AND styrofoam takeout containers for leftovers? Are you kidding me Jack Astor’s?! This is 2019. You are a chain restaurant that can easily procure more eco friendly options (which, yes, are still not great) such as paper straws and containers made of recycled paper products. We won’t be going here or to any affiliates until this changes and we are broadcasting this loudly across our networks.
