Go for the ceviche and cocktails.

Cerviche sampler was excellent suggestion. Entrees were fantastic as well.

Unbelievable Ceviche....nice unique menu in Coconut Grove

Two in our party and we were put in the back of restaurant near the TV showing the food channel (which made me hungry for the food being served on the screen - not the restaurant.

My wife ordered three smaller items for dinner - the ceviche sampler; one crab cake; a salad. I ordered a fish dinner. The service was terrible! We were initially ignored by the wait-staff, when my wife's sampler was finally brought to the table. Ten minutes later the crab cake showed up. Then 5 minutes later a basket of chips were brought to the table. Then my dinner arrived and I got something the eat.

The food quality was fine, but the dining experience was ruined by the poor service.

Everything was very good, as usual, but it took a while to be given setups (napkins and flatware) for the three diners. Our main server was excellent, but her colleagues dropped the ball by not responding to our request.

We had a large group of 10, and were sat at a wonderful square table that made for great conversation. Great food as always, and great service too!

The food was so delicious. Everything from our guacamole appetizer, ceviche, picaña entree and espresso martini dessert. I can’t wait to go back and try their brunch!

The food, especially the cerviche, was very good. The service was extremely slow. The waterboy quickly came to the table with water and tostones. The server however, never showed, so after 10 minutes I had to flag down the hostess, who ended up taking my order. The server finally showed up after the food was served asking if everything was to my liking. Really?

Always great. Every time I try other ceviche I wish I had just gone here.

Service was well intentioned but inconsistent. Guacamole and chicken quesadilla was poor. Sauce on the fish dish, which three of us had, was so over salted as to be inedible. We mentioned to waiter, received an apology and one free desert. Sat inside: ambience was just ok. Disappointing, as we had heard good things about Jaguar. Maybe they just had an off day, but unlikely we will return.

Outstanding food, top notch service without the hefty price tag.
The ceviche menu is by far the star of this restaurant, try the sampler if you can’t choose between the great choices. Oh, sample the deserts the same way.

You must try their civeche, it is worth going for. However, the restaurant was dirty and there was visible food and dirt on the floor throughout the place, not just near one table where there may have been kids dining. The wait staff honestly seemed clueless and there was no organization. The manager stood at the hostess stand and did not help wait staff. It seemed like the whole team didn't know what they were doing and that reflects poor management. I could overlook all of the above if the place was busy, but they weren't.

Jaguar is definitely one of our favorites!! Great food and service.

We are in Coconut Grove for the next 2 months and are staying at Arya hotel. We eat a lot at the Peacock Café a sister restaurant . Truly wonderful.

They needed more servers. The food took too long, but the food was good.

Great Tapas, service was very accommodating but slow—took a long time to get a drink. I assume this was due to a busy time of year.

We love Jaguar for all of the food. The sad thing was the cilantro soup is outstanding and we finally talked to the chef to see if he would offer it more days than just special occasions. My daughter and I got the cilantro soup and it was not the same as it usually is.
It was thicker and lacking the flavor it usual has. Please make it like it usually is.

The waitress was sweet but inattentive and forgot to put in our appetizer order. The ambience was fair (needs a pick me up). The food was OK but not worth the money. I wouldn’t go back.

We brought a family of 12 for Christmas dinner. The service was slow but I assume they were short staffed due to the holiday. The staff who were there were kind and while quite busy came as they could. The menu has been revamped and had some fresh, innovative items and a section of vegan and well labeled vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. Drinks were great. I love the new menu. I had the Calabacitas and they were outstanding.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever had there. The food was still good but the service ruined the evening for our group.

We always have a wonderful time at Jaguar. The best ceviche anywhere. We will be back, of course.

Consistently very good. Ceviche among the best in town. A very well-run restaurant.

It's always nice to know families and young children are welcome, but for those who aren't taking young ones to dinner, it can be very annoying when trying to enjoy some conversation and a nice meal.

We go often as this place has amazing food and usually everyone there is professional. Tonight, everyone was great as usual except one woman with black hair who brought out our meals who was rude and basically dropped the plates on the table

As always the ceviche was fresh and tasty. One of the best grilled octopus in Miami. And the ambience is casual but chic. Servers are quick to take orders and deliver superior service. Overall just a great restaurant in the Grove. A balmy night in Miami so we sat outside and it was wonderful.

We have enjoyed Jaguar for many years, but recently discovered their fabulous happy hour. The drink specials offer a really nice variety and the happy hour food options are creative and tasty. We'll definitely be back.

This review is just for Jaguar's brunch. The host, I believe his name was Jorge, was super friendly and welcoming and introduced us to the menu when we sat down at our table. The service and ambiance here are lovely. I really enjoyed the experience of dining at Jaguar. Some of the brunch items ordered were just okay. I didn't care much for my latinos benedictinos- they were swimming in salsa and the arepas they were on were mostly flavorless and soggy. The eggs were overdone as well. On the other hand, I was told the monte cristo sandwich and the breakfast churrasco were very good. Seems like the brunch items are hit or miss, but I hear lots of great things about their dinner!

The ceviche and caipirinhas at Jaguar are always one of the highlights of our visits to Miami.

We sat outside on this visit. And while the weather held up nicely, the poor lighting outside was a little less than desirable.

The food was outstanding, the staff was very professional and friendly. The homemade chips and sauce they serve is amazing. My tuna was seared perfectly. I could eat there everyday with all the options they have on the menu. I highly recommend Jaguar! We will go back when in Miami again

I wanted to love it. but didn't. The server was fine , it was the greeter and bus boy whom seated us with one menu, although there was 3 of us. And the bus boy who we finally asked 20 min after being seated if he could alert someone that we were there. No drink offer. Nothing. Desserts were spectacular. entree. Ok.

The food was delicious and generous. We did the Miami Spice brunch and lunch and were beyond thrilled with everything. Service was on point! Desserts delicious—flan! Bottomless Mimosas a must.

First time there, nice ambience. Seated immediately. Server was adorable, helpful and efficient. Food was excellent. We shared a few ceviches. I had a salmon skewer, my husband had a meat combo dish. Food was fresh, hot and authentic. I recommend highly.
