Jarrettown Inn is a local favorite with a wide selection of delicious entrees, appetizers and cocktails. We have tried several items on the menu including the Ahi Tuna, the Mediterranean Grouper, the Bolognese and dinner salads. The Italian Nachos are out of sight and a great happy hour plate. Their outdoor patio is open when weather permits and has a great vibe with all appropriate covid precautions in place. You will never be disappointed.
We had a great experience! Service was awesome and the food was great! Great value also! All top shelf
Nice place and good happy hour. Prompt and friendly service.
We had a good time. We always have a good time. The food, as it ever is, was to good and our waitress was perfect. Thank you. We will come back forever!!!
The Jarretown Inn is closed!! Open Table took
the reservation. When we arrived everything was dark and locked.
Restaurant was not open! Why does Open Table take reservations for closed restaurants?
When we arrived, the restaurant was dark. Their voicemail stated they are not doing take our or eat-in dining. They should remove themselves as an option on OpenTable. I have always enjoyed this restaurant, so it was disappointing.
50th birthday dinner.
Heather was great!
We went on a cooler evening and sat inside, on the glass enclosed porch. We were far from everyone and felt completely Covid-comfortable. The service was exemplary, the food was delicious and the ambience was perfect. We look forward to our next visit.
We ate out on the terrace. May be the last day to do that this year. Food was good & service was good. Nice size lunch crowd.
We ate outside on a beautiful day. The outdoor patio ambiance was very nice. A little traffic noise, but that is typical for most outdoor dining. All 3 of us had the filet sandwiches which were delicious, but a little messy and difficult to eat. Overall a good experience.
The food and service and ambiance on the patio were delightful.
I had a 7:45 reservation and the kitchen closed at 8. As we went in, everyone we encounteredI told us to hurry up and order. am a vegetarian and requested no meat and it was served up with meat at the bottom and when the waitress was told she did not remove the item from the bill. She apologized and said the cooks left for the night. The food was awful and it was clear it was prepared in haste.
Food was excellent . Service was ok - asked for a candle with our dessert to celebrate my wife’s birthday and server never brought it . Otherwise good food .
Very Nice great food and service. Out door seating is great
Family dinner (4) at the Jarrettown. Two of us ordered entree’s from the menu, the other two from the specials. ALL meals were VERY good. Apps, drinks and desserts.
The cooks at the Jarrettown know how to plate a delicious meal! Keep up the good work! We’ll be back for more! 😎
I made 7:30 reservations, we were seated at 7:45. We were greeted by our waitress and told we needed to get our order in ASAP the kitchen closes at 8. We were rushed all evening and couldn’t enjoy time with our friends. We were out the door by 9. I would have made earlier reservations if I would have known this. It was a Saturday night. Very disappointing.
Always enjoy our dinner at Jarrettown. Love the live music!
Food was horrible. Server was miserable. No social distancing our table was literally 2 feet from the table next to us. Worst anniversary ever
Great food great atmosphere we went there for a family dinner
Always a pleasure!
the waitress was pleasant and helpful
the restaurant was a wonderful experience
lovely patio area and great food
First time to this restaurant and was very pleased. Food was excellent with prompt attention and service by staff. Reservations definitely necessary on the weekend with limited capacity allowed at this time.
This is our “go to” restaurant because the food and service are consistently reliably very good.
Wonderful patio setting for a lunch. Had the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious.
Great service and consistently good food!
Was disappointed, I had the salmon and asked if instead of the potato, I could have more seasonal vegetables. I was told by the waitress that they would have to charge me more for that. I cant eat potatoes and I've never had a problem with substitution before.
Very nice place. We ate outside and felt very safe. food was delicious and the service was great!
Crab cakes were delicious as was the coconut shrimp. The live music added the ambiance but alittle on the loud side but very good. I was impressed with the covid precautions. You could even smell the bleach after cleaning. Felt safe and had a wonderful night.
Outdoor seating was great...music was great but just too loud. The food was great but their bread was really bad
will be back
Exceptional service & great food. First visit & will be back. Recommending to family & friends. Outdoor seating was lovely.
My husband’s birthday
Great food , drinks and music ! Karen , our server , was very attentive . We’ll be back!
Really nice. Our server Heather was fantastic!
Jarrettown has been our ‘go to’ dining out place for a long time. I was especially disappointed that our server chose to wear her face mask beneath her nose - for crying out loud- during this crazy pandemic??
Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. This was our second “big night out” since the pandemic and our first restaurant pick last week was so excellent and a hard act to follow and this was a major disappointment. The saving grace was the scenery. The outside is beautiful and the location is 5 minutes from home. Also the tables are spaced with generous distance. The sad part is the service. First of all we made the 7:45 reservation online and had no idea we would be rushed to order as the kitchen closes at 8:00 pm. Our server nervously rushed us to put in our drinks, appetizers and entrees quickly after barely having a chance to look at the menu because the kitchen was about to close. They were also out of things like bread and eye rolling on the part of our server was frequent when we asked any questions. We were also seated next to a table with major complaints about their meals so we became a part of all their frustrations. The food was good however by the time our server came back to get our appetizer orders the entrees were ready to come out so we were forced to skip our first course. She also shared many times that they were ready to close which definitely took away from any chances of a relaxing escape from our routine dinners at home. I doubt we will go here again as going out has become a luxury and should not be this frustrating. Also this restaurant needs to take their last reservation at 7:30 or be willing to keep the kitchen open until the last customers have been served.
My friends and I had a wonderful evening dining outside. Social distancing was appropriate, the food was delicious and the music was great. We will be back.
Food was Fabulous, service was ! Entertainment was great!
Very nice place! Heather is outstanding!
