Amazing place! Best food, best music!
The ambiance is breathtaking, however for a Friday night the host staff could have been better. When we arrived for our reservation we weren’t acknowledged while we stood in front of the host stand. It was not until i interrupted the host to inform them of our arrival for our reservation. The reservation was 4 guest at 8:45. Checked in, host let’s us know they will seat us shortly. 5 minutes went by and then 10 so checked in again with host as there were table available. Although I did not want to assume anything as with COVID restriction wasn’t sure if maybe the tables were not sat for certain reasoning. After 10 minutes hostess says it will be maybe 20 minutes after me asking for a time frame. Went to bar for drinks and another 25 minutes go by and I check on table the host seemed annoyed and bothered. It was very busy at host stand at this point. Long story short didn’t get seated until 9:37 p.m. almost one hour from our reservation time. It really just ruined our experience after hearing such good things about this place. Our server did apologize stating that people were sitting longer than expected due to wanting to watch the geisha show which we missed and was a reason I made the reservation time so we wouldn’t miss it.
Awesome experience
We had a great server and really enjoyed our martinis.
When you enter the courtyard you are taken back by the ambiance and scene of the fountains and pools. We requested a table that sits up against the water and this request was fulfilled with no issues. Certainly recommend this as well as reservations.
The night started shaky; after the initial interaction with the assistant server on water choice no server visited us. After about possibly 15 minutes we flagged down a server. The server apologized and stated he would take care of our table regardless of who was assigned. The experience was nothing but excellent from then on.
Food was delicious. We love Indian cuisine and opted for the the Chicken Tikka, Garlic Naan, and Chicken Makhani dishes among some other appetizers. Chefs here are very accommodating to special requests also. As we had Samosas and they weren’t listed on the menu that night.
Prices were very reasonable for the quality and it being Miami Beach. Also there was a DJ which actually was enjoyable and not overly done.
All in all I highly recommend a visit here.
Great experience! The whole ambiance was outstanding. The food was to die for. Get the gyozas for an appetizer and thali platter for an entree if you love Indian food, they were both to die for! Highly recommend!
We requested the wine menu from our server and he referred to the small selection on the cocktail menu. After having been poured all of our glasses and expressing it wasn’t our favorite but will suffice, I expressed that it was surprising the wine menu was so small. He then proceeded to explain there was a wine book with a larger selection. He didn’t offer to change the bottle out for one we preferred.
Additionally, we informed our server of a dairy allergy, but it was clear after getting home and seeing the onset of an allergic reaction that one of our dishes definitely had dairy. I’m guessing the fried rice. You would expect a higher caliber of service at such an expensive restaurant.
Amazing.!!!!
It’s entirely too busy at this time of year. The music is great both DJ and performances are worth checking out. Our truffle dumplings were cold and did not taste like they did in the past.
I was a very bad timing the food came with a 25m delay
Increible!
Loud. My wife and I had a very hard time carrying on a normal conversation.
Nice server, however she didn't know the menu, as she recommended a shrimp dish for my wife and I to split because it had more shrimp. When it came there were only 3! When I asked her for recommendations, each time she recommended the most expensive on the menu.
This was a very disappointing dining experience. Our experience in August was much better. I am not sure we will be back for a third time
Amazing restaurant. Ask to eat outside. Great vibe. Food is amazing. The Penang Curry and shrimp har gau and samosa are fantastic. On the western menu, the burger and Setai club sandwich are delicious
Everything about this restaurant is beyond great.
Besides the beautiful ambience and the nice vibe ... the food was awful! I have been to The Setai multiple times and I dine there many times before, but last night the food was AWFUL! It took one hour for our food to be served. We order Pad Thai that was tasteless and plain! The peeking duck was awful, tasteless and dry! We also had a dumpling that was okay. After ordering 3 dishes and 2 bottle of water the check was $155. A joke for such a bad food! You pay for the music and nice ambience!
Horrific waiter service
A few tables nearby us were smoking and it really interfered with our experience but over good time and will definitely return. However, people shouldn’t be allowed to smoke as the restaurant is somewhat indoor as well. Food was GREAT!
La comida fea, los tragos malos , la atención y ambiente excelentes una pena q en ese lugar el resto sea malo . En el de la playa se come Rico buenos tragos excelente servicio .. es preferible comer en el resto alado de la pileta c vista a la playa q ahí . Shows solo fin de semana
Everything from the food to the ambiance was amazing!
2nd dinner not nearly as good as first. Dishes very different. Good but not great.
Fantastic restaurant! I went for date night and was very impressed. Jaya is beautiful spot and photos online don’t do it justice! The overall ambiance, food and the intimate atmosphere was simply fantastic. Highly recommend if you’re in the Miami area!
what a beautiful setting, what an incredible meal! this is a must visit. our reservation was on the later side so we didn’t have as much time as we would have liked, but it was certainly spectacular, and our waiter, Vojo, was wonderful.
We sat on wi keep backless seats very uncomfortable. The service was super slow. Food was ok not great and very small portions. We will not be going back. Table was so small count fit the food ordered we were constantly having to rearrange things.
Ambience was great. Food and choices were good and unique.
Loud music played the whole time- very annoying- when asked to turn down- was told that it’s their music and loudness is their ‘attracting’ feature??
Service and knowledge of the menu was very mediocre
Good was tasty but not the dessert which was disappointing
This is our 2nd time dining here and as usual , top notch, food is amazing and the service was excellent , we had a good time.. Love this place... We try the duck and it was delicious.. Highly recommend this place.
Beautiful place, good food and nice service 👍❤️
Slow service. Terrible ambiance.
The restaurant Jaya is really beautiful especially in the evening. Inside or outside seating is awesome.
We have been there several times. The food is good BUT not spectacular as many claim.
Never has been. The dishes are very small and none of them has a great flavor. Very expensive compared to other restaurants in the area. For that money more quality and taste could be expected.
The service of the staff and the ambience of the restaurant is just amazing and makes up for the not perfect dishes.
Had a reservation, had to wait a couple minutes for the table to be ready. Overall, Everything was amazing. The shows were spectacular and the food was yummy.
Amazing experience! Loved the atmosphere
Drinks were warm food was cold slow service no priority to reservations instead taking walk ins first
